This has been a great shampoo for my colored hair. It doesn't turn it into straw nor does it weigh it down. Rather, it adds just the right amount moisture to make my hair look and feel soft and still allows it to build volume. This shampoo works just as well--and sometimes better--than pricey shampoos such as Paul Mitchell, Federick Fekkai, and Aveda. A great find!

My wavy hair is easily coaxed into perfect curls with the right products, but I bought this with the hopes of giving those curls a little oomph. While it did add volume, it also took the shape out of many of my curls and left a lot of frizz (Disclaimer: I have fine hair, so people with thicker hair may have better luck with this product.)

Some people may like that this cream smells like peanut butter, but I didn't. Props to Kiehl's for making a super rich face cream that really does absorb quickly. Because this product lacks SPF, I used my free sample as a night cream. After the second use, my nose was covered in blackheads--gross. I'll continue to use this cream on my dry cheeks until the packet is gone, but I will not be purchasing the full size.

The second ingredient in this product is alcohol; it also contains citrus oils. Niether of these things lend themselves to moisturizing. I left it in for five minutes in the shower, and when I rinsed it out, my hair didn't feel soft like it usually does after being deep conditioned. It didn't dry my hair out, but my regular conditioner does a better conditioning job than this.

I bought this product in Prrr, and I couldn't be happier. MAC Tinted Lipglass wears more like a lipstick than a gloss and is shiny and non-drying. The color in the bottle is how it looks on my lips. I wish it had more staying power, but I'm not bothered by the texture as many other reviewers seem to be; it doesn't feel too sticky to me.

Did my at-home manicure last two weeks when I used this as a topcoat? No. But it still beat out every other top coat I've tried. It's shiny, long-lasting, and smells relatively mild. I compulsively chip off my polish, and Orly Won't Chip held up against my neurosis for three days, longer than Essie (one hour) and Sally Hansen (one day). And unlike OPI, it won't transfer color from your nails to the bottle.

A friend gave this to me after it didn't work for her. It didn't work for me either. When I used this product, I felt like I was rubbing a runny, non-absorbing lotion all over my face--yuck. It didn't leave my skin feeling clean, and I hated that it left a residue because I have an oily T-zone. I like that it's odorless, but even for my sensitive skin this product was too mild.

While I normally worship at the alter of Kiehl's, I wasn't impressed with this product. It didn't leave my skin feeling hydrated or exfoliated. It felt good to use--it's very gentle and smells good--but when I was done with my shower, my skin didn't look or feel any different.

Don't be fooled by the name, this lotion doesn't smell fruity, thanks to a base of patchouli and musk. My boyfriend--who hates perfume and other strong smells--approves of the subtle scent. It's so thick it's practically a cream, making it hard to spread evenly and you have to wrestle it from the bottle. The formula absorbs quickly and is non-greasy. My dry, itchy skin slurps it right up, but it still isn't hydrating enough. I find myself layering other lotions and creams over it to completely relieve my dry, itchy skin. A little goes a long way, making $20 not seem so painful.

I purchased this product in Shimmering Sage. While I was thrilled to find a classy green shadow I could wear all over my lids, I wish it was more pigmented. This shadow is truly super shimmery and it's high quality: no creasing, migrating, wearing off, etc. I almost purchased it in Lucky Penny, but it wasn't pigmented enough to make my eyes really pop. (However, Lucky Penny in Quickshadow format is perfect.)
