I found this cleanser to be drying on my already too-dry skin, but what really influenced my rating was not its quality, but its price. I appreciate how effective and no-frills this cleanser is, but almost $30.00 for a basic cleaser is just too much.

This is a classic moisturizer. It couldn't quite tackle my super dry skin, but it offers SPF and is lightweight, fast-absorbing, and unscented. I believe in spending a lot for top-notch products, but this isn't quite it.

I'm a nail polish fanatic, and Sephora's pretty polishes are in my top three alongside OPI and Essie. With a terrific array of colors that paint on smoothly and last for days, these babies hold their own against pricier brands. I love that they are packaged in small, $4.00 bottles instead of in a traditional-size bottle, which would cause an unnecessary price boost. Who can ever finish a full-size bottle of polish? I found the small brush handle awkward at first, but once I got the hang of it, I was able to paint more precisely than I do with regular nail polish brushes.

I had my doubts as soon as I realized this product had a lotion-y texture, but I gave it several tries before giving up completely. Be Curly weighed down my hair, making it flat, and it didn't coax any curls out of my wavy-but-almost-curly hair. It smoothed my frizz and I loved the smell, but it doesn't work.

I bought this after an independent agency determined that it was the second most effective sunscreen on the market. This sunscreen stayed put in the water, acting almost like a slicked-on shield, and my sensitive skin loved the natural ingredients, even though they emit a too-strong smell. The texture is so awful that I ultimately stopped using it. It's so thick that it's difficult to rub in and it never absorbs, causing every little dust particle to stick to your skin. And it was so greasy I felt like a greased pig roasting in the sun. Yuck.

I love that Sally Hansen makes a clear lip liner. Even the lightest of lipliners show up on my thin, pale lips. There are other clear lip liners out there, but this one performs just as well and at a better price. The only lipstick it can't handle is my bright red MAC Viva Glam lipstick; it lets it feather a tiny bit.

This lip balm feels a bit dry. It does a decent job of moisturizing on a day-to-day basis, but it doesn't add any shine or provide long-term moisturizing like it's plainer counterpart does. I love the natural honey smell, but others may find it too strong or too sweet. If your lips are seriously thrashed, don't bother with this at all; it's pretty lightweight.

Those hoping for Pantene commercial shine will be disappointed. However, Headrush delivers a pretty sheen and a delicious, citrus-y smell. My favorite part about this product is that it doesn't weigh hair down at all. Except for the smell and the shine, you can't tell you're wearing anything!

This lotion does a fantastic job of moisturizing hands, which is why the strong hippy smell and shoddy packaging is such a bummer. The cap wouldn't stay tightened in my purse, so all sorts of grunge from the bottom of my purse stuck to the opening. If this didn't make me feel like I was sitting on cushions in a drafty Santa Cruz shack with people who don't wash their hair, I would definitely by it again.

This lash curler requires a very, very delicate touch, and even then it leaves an unsightly kink in my lashes (I curl my lashes before applying mascara, btw). I have to do a lot of manuevering to ensure a decent curl: applying it all up and down the lash, only to the tips and then waiting, etc. Not worth it.
