I had the same problems as the people who gave this product negative reviews, but here's the bottom line: it works. Within about one week of daily use, the non-rosacea redness on my nose and cheeks that has bugged me for years faded significantly. I no longer wear concealer on those areas, a light foundation is enough. I like that it comes in a glass bottle; it feels "special." And as for this lotion's drawbacks? They can be handled with a few simple tricks: it's green and it clings to bits of dry skin, it's gross, but fixable. Emulsify this product in your hands before applying to affected areas, and rub it in longer than you would a traditional lotion. Be sure to use just enough to get the job done. Once it's absorbed, apply another moisturizer over it, concentrating on flaky areas. This is a good idea anyway because this product isn't very moisturizing. Don't worry, it won't clog your pores; I have an oily nose and the double dose of lotions doesn't give me blackheads as long as they are non-comedogenic.

Even the other Burt's Bees lip balms can't live up to the original. The smell, taste, feel, and slightly glossy finish are all close to perfect. It softens my lips as soon as I apply it, but because the softness doesn't last more than a couple of hours, I sometimes look for another balm, but I always come back to Burt's and their wholesome ingredients.

These polishes come in a range of fun colors and are available at a wide variety of locations. They're decently priced and, best of all, lack that eye-watering, brain cell-killing smell because they lack DBP, toluene, and formaldehyde--yay! Aside from that, they're very much like their sister polish, OPI. The clunky bottle shape is a bit annoying, but I like the polish's consistency, color payoff (use two coats), and brush size. Unfortunately, they lack OPI's staying power; Nicole started to chip within two hours of application, and that's with a top coat.

I wish this powder was a little more fine. I use 01 Stay Buff on my fair, freckled skin and it's the perfect color for me, plus it mattifies my shiny nose without concealing my freckles, which would look weird and unnatural. The case is nice and strong; I've dropped it several times and neither the product, case, or mirror have cracked--great for a clumsy gal such as myself. But alas, only seven stars because the not-nearly-fine-enough finish advertises that I've got powder sitting on my nose.

I tossed out all my other blow-out brushes once I brought this one home. The combination of boar and nylon brushes ensures more shine and less frizzies. The ceramic allows this brush to heat all the way through, reducing drying time. I use the big one to straighten (did I mention it acheives amazing volume?) and the smaller one to create curls and waves.

I love the colors Orly offers in this collection and the fact that they're the most chip-resistent nail polish I've ever come across. What I don't like is how streaky the color goes on (I needed three coats for a "solid" look and the bottle claims you only need two) and how runny it is.

I received a sample of this jasmine-scented serum at Sephora. It absorbed instantly and worked beautifully, reducing redness and eliminating the pesky peels of skin on my nose, but it costs way more than I'm comfortable spending (it's $90.00 at Sephora, not $48).

I bought this for a trip to New Orleans to keep what I was certain would be humidity-induced pouffy hair. The humidity actually wasn't that bad, but this product was. It was smelly and greasy. It didn't absorb into my hair; instead, it just sort of sat on it, weighing it down and making it feel oily. I tossed it.

This conditioner didn't extend the life of my color, but it did deliver on its promise to moisturize and increase shine. It smells scrumptious and manages to be both lightweight (it won't weigh your hair down, I promise) and rich at the same time. When I apply this, I immediately feel my hair soften, and the softness stays long after I've rinsed it out. It's also made my hair easier to style.

This stuff is too heavy for me. With its heavy, powdery rose odor, it smells like something my grandma would love. Cute bottle, though. If your tastes run to heavily perfume-y scents, you're in luck, because just a dab of this on my wrists stayed strong for hours.
