I live in San Diego, so I wear flip-flops all year round, so my feet are almost always busted in some way. I just didn't realize how busted until I sprayed this stuff on it. It found every little scratch, blister, and insect bite and made them sting terribly. It's too bad, because I love the fresh peppermint smell and my abused feet could've used this pick-me-up.

This butter-colored cream tends to gobble up concealer, so don't use it under your makeup unless you like that dry, cake-y look. To circumvent this problem, I used it only at night. The moisturizing results have been okay, but my eye area is still too dry.

This foundation didn't wear all day, but I'm willing to forgive it in light of its numerous other virtues. Real Vanilla perfectly matches my difficult-to-match skin tone and concealed my splotchy complexion without blotting out my freckles. The formula is smooth and non-drying. The price made me cringe, but foundation is literally the foundation of makeup, so I splurged.

This didn't work for me as well as its roll-on counterpart did. I don't like how wet it feels when you apply it, and it takes too long to dry. But it's worse offense was that it didn't keep me very dry.

I used a prescription deodorant (which I hated) for years before a nurse practitioner recommended this. It is the only over-the-counter product that keeps me dry and odorless. It is non-irritating and doesn't have a strong smell. Although it takes a couple of minutes to dry, it lasts for up to two days and doesn't stain clothes.

I'm subtracting a star because this stuff is freakin' IMPOSSIBLE to find. Other than that irritation, this self-tanner is fantastic. It gives natural, non-streaky color at a doable price. Best of all, it doesn't smell at all once it absorbs, so I don't feel self-concious when I wear it.

My hair is both very short and very dry, so I needed a conditioner that would seriously quench my fine strands without giving me helmet head. I'm glad I splurged on this. It not only nourished my hair, it volume and shine. I use this every time I shampoo and always get great results.

The oblong shape is cute, but it doesn't explain the $10 price tag. I like that it has SPF and makes my lips moist, but so do many drugstore brands.

This is a great moisturizer at a great price. It absorbs readily and hydrates my dry skin for most of the day. However, I only apply it first thing in the morning, so that the sour dairy smell is gone before I put on my clothes, and I certainly don't want it on my sheets. My other complaint is that the packaging is all wrong. The lotion is too thick for the pump, so I have to unscrew the top to get to the lotion. St. Ives should repackage this in a tub.

I've found that straighteners either a) don't work or b) weigh down my fine hair, robbing it of movement. A dime-sized amount of this does what the bottle promises: weightlessly straigens my curly hair. It's not perfect--the straight style doesn't hold all day--but I continue to use it for its frizz-fighting properties. When I plan to wear my hair natural, I apply some of this to my wet hair and let it dry naturally.
