My hair can be easily troubled. Biosilk actually contains hydrolyzed silk to make your hair feel the same way! A little goes a long way with this, but it has worked like a miracle to restore damaged tresses back to healthy hair.

If you're read any of my other past reviews, it's no secret that I am a convert to Ole Henriksen's products. The line simply works--and exceeds my expectations on all levels. The smattering of tiny brown spots on one cheek has been diminished by their products, the tiny lines just beginning at my eyes and throat have nearly disappeared, and there is a clarity I haven't seen with any other brand (trust me, I have tried more than my share). Wise Volta of this site suggests that you do not use this if you are unfamiliar with the ingredients, and I could not agree more; you will simply be disappointed rather than ecstatic. I also suggest that you use this very powerful moisturizer along with one of Henriksen's cleansers ("African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser" is my favorite) and a serum underneath (whether it be "Truth Serum® Vitamin C Collagen Booster" or "Invigorating Night Gel"). Henriksen uses glycolic and lactic acids (AHA's) to exfoliate, increase cell turnover, and diminish lines; lemon and orange extracts boost the overall health of skin with essential fatty acids gamma linolenic acid and linolenic acid; primrose oil, an ingredient used for decades, is also an essential fatty acid; Vitamin C guards against free radical damage, reduces skin irritation, stimulates collagen production, smoothes wrinkles, and firms skin; and beta carotene protects your complexion from damage caused by sunlight. I would not recommend this for very sensitive skin, but it would work well for those troubled by acne, as the ingredients would calm and perhaps put blemishes at bay. This is a rich cream, and you need only a little. Massage over face, but steer clear of your eyes (Henriksen has a tremendous eye moisturizer). After just one week, I noticed a distinct fading of brown spots. The lines which troubled me are actually nearly extinct! And the clarity I spoke of earlier is evident, along with baby-smooth, more taut skin. You DO need a break from this moisturizer every few nights. I use one of many products--Algenist's cream, L. A. Christine's "Berry Oil," or Estèe Lauder's CP+ Perfectionist on nights I don't use this. You will find yourself loving your new complexion.

This softens and revives lipsticks while it keeps color from feathering and wandering away from your pout. I've used it for years and tend to hoard it.

I was delightfully surprised when I first tried Declèor's "Instant Radiance Moisturizer." It is very lightweight, and you barely need to let time pass before you apply your makeup. The main ingredients are dimethicone (a form of silicone), glycerin, oak root extract, wheat protein, panthenol, lemon peel oil, bitter orange oil, and extracts of grapefruit and fig. While it works to hydrate well and soften lines, it leaves a radiance, gorgeous but also quite natural. This is amazing.

The gorgeous hearts of color mingle together to give you a perfect, natural flush--like you've just realized you've fallen in love or taken a walk on a cool spring day, inhaling the blossoms! The formula won't cause blemishes or problems. It just will make you look like you--but lovelier! I can't use this without smiling. The wear is wonderful, and I put it through long hours in hot, humid conditions.

These are available in such pretty shades, and it's great to know that you're protecting your lips with SPF while you're also moisturizing and enhancing them. I look the sleek tube, invigorating feeling, and long wear!

The formula of this product is fairly decent--it tints and separates my lashes with little clumping or flaking. The brush is a dupe for Givenchy's "Phenom Eyes," which I don't like at all. There is a way to work with the little ball for long, lush lashes, but it's much like playing the game of "Twister" without the fun. All in all, I'll take another mascara over this one.

I think I've found the "hit" fragrance of the summer, Anna Sui's magnificent "Fairy Dance." As the name suggests, it is light and fanciful, filled with happy moments and good memories to come. The key notes to this utter delight are tangerine, mango, pink pepper, fresh rose, peony, bamboo, sandalwood, vetiver, and vanilla. It makes me want to dance!

I have these in several colors. The easy-to-apply gel formula allows me to create just a very fine line when I'm using a vivid color like "Cobalt Clutch." It's also nice to apply and smudge for a smoky look. Coverage lasts all day and through the evening.

This does a great job at whitening teeth. It is especially beneficial for me, as I have only a little enamel on my teeth (my mother took an antibiotic when she was pregnant with me and I wound up with the under-layer, dentin, which is yellow by nature). It does boost my confidence, but I think Colgate Optic White still beats this.
