This is well padded, fits over the eye properly, and gives the ultimate of lift and curl to lashes. As with all curlers, be careful not to catch your skin. This is an excellent accessory at a ridiculously great price.

No, this doesn't work as well as natural-hair or high-quality brushes, but it is dense, soft, and lush. I use it for applying setting powder, highlighter, you name it.

I am very fair. On the few occasions when I decide to sport a bronze look, I generally turn to Jergens but was asked to review Bella Bronze "Golden Chamomile Goats Milk Self-Tanner." It is enriched with chamomile, virgin olive oil, shea butter, goat's milk, and fig extracts. It does give a beautiful glow and applies with a virtually streak-free finish. A WORD OF WARNING: Exfoliate your skin before using for a more even look, and use plastic gloves so that your palms don't remain dark.

I admitted in an earlier blog that I am totally hooked on Tangee's "Color-Changing Lipstick" (a classic, available online from The Vermont Country Store). The silky-smooth formula protects my lips from hot and cold weather, provides a most becoming shade on my pout, often lasting longer than I do! There's a new and noteworthy product in town: It Cosmetics' "Vitality Flush 4-in-1 Anti-Aging Lip Stain." It is available in four hues, including my favorites: "Pretty Woman," a lovely, burnished pink and "Love Story," a soft, true rose. Also noteworthy is "Je Ne Sais Quoi," which provides just a hint of a very natural long-lasting tint. This gem won awards from "Total Beauty," "Daily Glow," and "Beauty Entertainment." Plum. Sunflower, and Cherry Oils, Shea Butter, and Jojoba hydrate and condition for hours; these are combined with the anti-oxidants Green Tea, White Tea, and Vitamins A, C, and E. Hyaluronic Acid, currently all-the-rage in moisurizing, is included to keep your lips buttery soft and glossy. How can you resist a stain which enhances and nourishes? You can't!

Smashbox's "Jet Set Waterproof Eyeliner" comes in a number of great shades. You have to use the correct brush and work with the product quickly, as this liner doesn't budge once it sets. Once I got the hang of working with it, I am pretty adept at creating anything from a fine, barely-there line to a cat eye. Love the formula. A word of warning: Close the little pot quickly and tightly, as the formula will dry. And wash your applicator after every use for best results.

I love a powdery smell. And floral smells entice me. "Flower" by Kenzo comes off as a very strong powdered floral, and it doesn't settle nicely but stays harsh. It may work with someone else's chemistry, but not mine.

There's a reason why this lip balm is so moisturizing--it contains sunflower seed oil, beeswax, coconut oil, castor seed oil, lanolin, pomegranate and sweet almond oils, along with cinnamon leaf and mandarin oils, Vitamin E, and rosemary extract. This smells and tastes wonderful and lasts a very long time!

The rose is the queen of the flowers, and I'm drawn to all rose-scented things. This toner contains natural rosewater, which has astringent properties, and is combined with aloe vera and glycerin for the ultimately gentle skin toner. It removes all traces of trapped dirt, oil, and makeup and helps to prepare your skin get the most from your moisturizer. I use over my face and neck in upward motions, avoiding eyes.
