This great, soft, ultra-shiny gloss comes in numerous shades, from sheer finishes to those with glimmer (one of the ones I own is "Gold Mauve," a rose with tiny gold flecks). The colors range from sedate to outrageous. There is never a tacky or sticky feel, just comfort on your lips. For $5.00, I'd like to collect them all. It is scented, but it doesn't bother me. I rather enjoy it!

NYX doesn't miss a gorgeous shade in this compact of complementary colors, including pinks, lilac, mid-range purple, deep amethyst, brown-tinged purple, cobalt, and charcoal. The range of looks you can create is as wide as your imagination. The quality of these shadows is comparable to department store brands--possibly better! They stay in place and don't crease or flake. I love mixing the blue with purple for unique shades. The small size of the compact is great to take with you; I keep the applicators for touch-ups but use my own tools for looks that really emphasize my hazel/green eyes. There is even a pull-out shelf with two lip glosses, a sheer pink and a bronze.

Yes, dealing with loose pearl eye shadows can be a bit messy, but the end result is well worth it. I have these in "Baby Pink," "Mocha," "Charcoal," and "True Purple Pearl." They really do bring out the color of your eyes and last much longer than you would expect. I like the little bottles because they're so easy to toss in your purse or train case for travel. I'm going to purchase more.

Lancôme started primarily as a skin care house. I've been told that by one representative after another, I turned to Rénergie "Microlift RARE." because of the exemplary reviews I read when I noticed a touch of sagging beginning under my eyes. Rénergie claims that it lifts, firms, and tightens, deflates bags, and smoothes wrinkles. The lifting is supposed to come from a Multi-Tension technology. My eyes were softened with this cream, but there was absolutely no taut or lifted feeling, no softening of creases, and no deflated bags. I'm surprised and disappointed, especially from a company with the reputation of Lancôme.

The colors are nice, but they don't wear long. There is a strange taste/scent, and I never knew what to do with the sword at the tip--I was always afraid of impaling myself!

The pieces of glitter are too large to wear, even on shoulders and decollete. My dog loved the scent, as did I, so I would sprinkle it through her fur and let her lick it.

I enjoy the pigmentation, the wear, the scent. The only problem is when I want to apply a touch-up. It's not helpful to pull out "beefcake" in front of other teachers, so I keep it to myself.

This covers undereye circles, any blemishes or uneven patches, and blends exceptionally well. It wears all day and into the evening.

I received this from a beauty site and was to critique it. Eve on shoulders and decollete, the glitter was too large to wear. My sweet dog was sitting next to me on the sofa when I was inspecting it, and she begged for it (must have been the marshmallow smell). So I put some on my arm and she licked it gratefully. Then I sprinkled some through her beige fur. My husband came home from work and asked, "What smells so good? AND WHY IS THE DOG SHIMMERING?"

The name of "False Eyelashes" is misleading--my lashes are not nearly that long or plush with this, but it is a good formula for length and volume. The brush is very large, dense, and makes working with the mascara easy. It's helpful in finding and covering every single lash. This is a mascara I do continue to purchase again and again.
