This is a great body wash that lathers, cleanses, and rinses well. It’s basic but good. I really like the natural almond fragrance because, as other reviewers have noted, it is mildly sweet and foody without having that overly sweet, almost cherry, note that so many other almond-scented products have. Ingredients: Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamide MEA, PPG-2 Hydroxyethyl Coco/Isostearamide, Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate, PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Bitter Almond Seed Extract, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Panthenol, Sodium PCA, Sweet Almond Seed Extract, Sodium Lauroyl Oat Amino Acids, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Citric Acid, Polyquaternium-7, PEG-3 Glyceryl Cocoate, Diazolidinyl Urea, Tocopheryl Acetate, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate.

I was surprised that I really like this product. I decided to try it but had set myself up to be disappointed by it, but I wasn't! I use it only on my nose because it tends to ball up and flake off anywhere else. And I don't wear it under foundation, because it also makes my foundation (Lancome Teint Idole Ultra) ball up and flake off. But I don't wear full foundation most days anyway; I just spot cover with it and then use MAC Blot Powder. So the Instant Perfector reduces redness and the appearance of pores on my nose, and it also increases the time before my nose will experience oily breakthrough. In fact, often after several hours I'll notice that my forehead (where I don't apply the Instant Perfector) appears oily but my nose doesn't. It certainly works better than any other mattifying product I've tried, and I appreciate that it doesn't contain alcohol. And I haven't experienced any problems with breaking out, which I half expected/feared to. So overall, I'll definitely repurchase. Ingredients: cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone, hdi/trimethylol hexyllactone crosspolymer, isononyl isononanoate, silica, dimethicone/vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer, vinyl dimethicone/methicone silsesquioxane crosspolymer, polymethyl methacrylate, lauroyl lysine, tocopheryl acetate, stearyl glycyrrhetinate, ethylhexylglycerin, phytosteryl/octyldodecyl lauroyl glutamate, methicone, phenoxyethanol, butylparaben, isobutylparaben, isopropylparaben. May contain: mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxides.

I should know better than to buy beauty products on impulse. This shampoo has an overwhelming and not particularly appealing fragrance. I can't use it every day because it builds up and weighs down my hair (that's not what I'm hoping for in a volumizing shampoo). And I hate the design of the bottle. It looks cool, but it's hard to get the product out. Overall, I'm forcing myself to finish it (instead of throwing it out--I'm far too short on funds at the moment to justify throwing out anything), and I definitely won't repurchase. I'll have to remember this experience the next time I'm tempted to buy something on impulse. Ingredients: Water, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Ammonium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Fragrance, Glycol Stearate, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, DMDM Hydantoin, Panthenol, Methylparaben, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium EDTA, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Amino Acids, Hibiscus Abelmoschuus Extract, Rosemary Flower Extract, Silk Amino Acids, Phytantriol, Jojoba Seed Oil, PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone, Chamomile Extract.

I love the Breathe Comfort fragrance, and I love the fact that this body wash lathers up so much. BUT it's just too moisturizing for my acne-prone body. Nevertheless, if you like vanilla scents and you have dry skin, I highly recommend this product. Ingredients: Water, Sodium Trideceth Sulfate, Safflower Seed Oil, Sodium Lauroamphoacetate, PEG-50 Shea Butter, Fragrance, Cocamide MEA, Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ammonium Chloride, Dihexyldecyl IPDI, Oat Kernal Extract, PEG/PPG-22/24 Dimethicone, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, White Tea Leaf Extract, Propylene Glycol, Citric Acid, DMDM Hydantoin, Tetrasodium EDTA, Sodium Glycolate, Glycerin, Mica, Titanium Dioxide.

This cleanser seemed to do an adequate job of cleaning my skin, though I'm not sure it would remove heavy makeup or waterproof sunscreen. I appreciated the fact that it was fragrance free, but unfortunately, it left my skin feeling dry. I much prefer Paula's Choice cleansers to this product, and PC is considerably cheaper. Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Water/Aqua/Eau, Lactic Acid, Citric Acid, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocamide DEA, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Allantoin.

I like that this sunscreen has stable protection, is zinc oxide-based, and is fragrance free. What I don't like, however, is that it is very greasy, which makes it difficult to apply an adequate amount for good protection. Yet despite being greasy, it isn't really moisturizing. It's rather strange. Also, it contains polyacrylamide, which I try to avoid since there are studies that strongly suggest that it is a carcinogen. Overall, this product does come close to my favorite Shiseido sunscreens. Active Ingredients: Zinc Oxide 9.0%, Octinoxate 7.5%. Inactive Ingredients: Purified Water, Petrolatum, Isopropyl Palmitate, Dimethicone, Diethanolamine, Cetyl Phosphate, Cetearyl Glucoside, Hyaluronic Acid, Squalane, Polyether-1, Triethanolamine, Polyacrylamide, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Laureth-7, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate, Sodium Acryloyldimethyltaurate, Copolymer, Polysorbate 60, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Citric Acid, Butylene Glycol, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Triethoxycaprylylsilane.

I cannot believe I wasted $16 on this conditioner! I have highlighted hair with a strong tendency to turn brassy. I'd heard great things about this conditioner, so I decided to spend much more money than I've ever spent on a hair product before. It turned out to be disappointing on several levels. Most importantly, it doesn't work very well to combat brassiness. I have to use a large amount, but even then, with leaving it on for 5 minutes, it only works slightly. I have to use it nearly every day to maintain results. Although it doesn't deposit color on my hair like it should, it does succeed in depositing on my bathtub, leaving gray stains. On top of all this, it makes my scalp itch (probably because of all the plant extracts and/or the preservatives). I'm going to keep looking for a great anti-brassiness product. Ingredients: Aqueous Extracts: Mallow Leaf Powder, Cornflower, Wild Cherry Bark Extract, Sweet Almond Bark Powder, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf, Dipalmitoylethyl Hydroxyethylmonium Methosulfate, Stearyl Alcohol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Glycerin, Behenamidopropyl Ethyldimonium Ethosulfate, Distearyldimonium Chloride, Dicaprylyl Ether, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Steardimonium Hydroxypropyl Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Wheat Starch, Tocopheryl Acetate, Oryzanol, Babassu Seed Oil, Caramel, Cetrimonium Chloride, PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone, Cetyl Hydroxyethylcellulose, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Fragrance, Linalool, Limonene, Soybean Oil, Maltodextrin, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium EDTA, Methylparaben, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Basic Blue 99, Basic Red 76.

This is one of my favorite shampoos. It's pretty basic, but that's why I like it so much, though I'd love it even more if it were free of silicones. It cleans well without stripping and doesn't weigh down or build up on my fine hair. It also has a pleasant scent and is reasonably priced for a salon shampoo. Ingredients: Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamide MEA, Sodium Chloride, Panthenol, Bisamino PEG/PPG-41/3 Aminoethyl PG-Propyl Dimethicone/White Ginger/PEG-12 Dimethicone, Bisamino PEG/PPG-41/3 Aminoethyl PG-Propyl Dimethicone/Algae/Aloe Barbadensis Leaf/Anthemis Noblis/Henna/Jojoba/Rosemary/PEG-12 Dimethicone, Wheat Germ Oil, Polyquaternium-11, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Citric Acid, Hydroxypropyl, Methylcellulose, Fragrance, DMDM Hydantoin, Tetrasodium EDTA, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbarnate.

For a scented lotion, I really like this. I received this in the Comfort scent as a gift. I generally buy fragrance-free lotions because both my husband and I have allergies to fragrances. But vanilla scents don't make me sneeze, so it's pretty nice. I like the formula of the lotion, too. It goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly. It moisturizes well, too. But I wouldn't purchase this for myself, since I still prefer unscented lotions. Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Fragrance, Cyclopentasiloxane, Ethylhexyl Hydroxystearate, Cetyl Esters, Di-PPG-3 Myristyl Ether Adipate, Dimethicone, Isocetyl Stearate, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Polysorbate 60, Isostearyl Palmitate, White Tea Leaf Extract, Borage Seed Oil, Olive Fruit Oil, Soybean Sterols, Corn Starch, Tocopherol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Allantoin, Hydrogenated Palm Glycerides, Panthenyl Ethyl Ether, Phenyl Methicone, Squalene, Urea, Ceteareth-20, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, BHA, Disodium EDTA, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Methylparaben, Phenoxyethanol, Propylparaben.

This fragrance has a sickeningly sweet note to it that I find disgusting--and I actually like many sweet fragrances (usually ones with a vanilla note). Definitely not for me.
