I find these lipsticks to be quite drying to the lips, so I apply mine over MAC Lip Conditioner Stick SPF 15, which also adds sun protection. I like the fact that the colors don't turn bright pink on my pigmented lips the way many drugstore lipsticks do. Overall, I don't find these worth purchasing on their own, and I much prefer the sheerer, more moisturizing Clinique Butter Shine lipsticks. This is by far the best toner I've used. Its key ingredients are about .5% salicylic acid and aloe. It is very mild and gentle. It leaves my oily skin very lightly moisturized (gets rid of any tightness from washing my face), and what I really love about it is that it gets rid of any lingering flakiness on my skin. In terms of immediate results (very important to me), I even like it better than the Paula's Choice toners I've used. I love the fact that it's fragrance-free, but I wish it were dye-free as well. Also, since I tend to use up toner faster than any other skin care product, I like the fact that I can purchase it at my local mall instead of ordering it online, as I do with all the Paula's Choice products I use. However, I don't find a toner to really be a necessary part of my skincare routine, so I don't expect to repurchase. If you're looking for a mild toner for almost any skin type (with the exception of perhaps very dry skin), I highly recommend Clinique Mild Clarifying Lotion. Ingredients: purified water, butylene glycol, biosaccharide gum-1, cyclodextrin, salicylic acid, millet plant glycoprotein extract, aloe, arginine, peg-10 soya sterol, ceteth-20, dimethicone, ceteth-2, dimethicone copolyol, hexadecanol, methylparaben, d&c green no. 5, d&c yellow no. 10.

I bought this in Ivory, and it's a great match for my very fair skin. However, the coverage is so sheer that it's practically useless. Furthermore, the bottle is terrible! The product leaks out of the cap and is still difficult to get out of the bottle when you want it. I haven't used this enough to comment on the effectiveness of the salicylic acid. This is heading into the trash, and I will never repurchase. Active Ingredient: salicylic acid 0.6%. This shampoo works great on my fine hair, but unfortunately, I can use it only once a week because the citrus extracts irritate my scalp if I use it more regularly. Because of this problem, I won't be repurchasing this shampoo. I bought this once several years ago, and I didn't repurchase because it did nothing to keep me dry, making it the most useless anti-perspirant I have ever used. Active Ingredient: Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorhydrex 18.5% Gly. This is a great light moisturizing gel that is fragrance free. I received it as a gift with purchase, but I wouldn't purchase it myself for two reasons: 1. It's more expensive than Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Moisurizing Gel, which I prefer. 2. I hate the jar packaging that the full size comes in (my sample is in a tube). I have fine, straight hair that is shoulder length with layers. Although I use the blow dryer every morning to put life into my hair, it always falls flat after an hour or two. This product, however, does a great job of adding definition to my hair, making it seem less lifeless. I style my hair by first applying gel to damp hair and then blow drying the underneath layers to flip out with a round brush and the top layers to curl under. Then I apply a pea sized amount of Sebastian Microweb Fiber to my fingertips and spread it evenly among all my fingertips. I very sparingly apply the product just to the ends of my hair to give it definition, and once I've basically applied all of it to the ends of my hair, I use the residue that remains on my fingertips to smooth the hair right around my face and plump up the roots just a bit. Although my hair still becomes flatter during the day, the definition on the ends remains, making my hair appear more styled and less limp. This product is designed for curly hair, and I imagine it would work well for thick, curly hair. It seems to be a cross between a light pomade (it has petrolatum, the main ingredient, besides wax, in many pomades) and a heavy leave-in conditioner (it has cetearyl alcohol, a common moisturizing ingredient), but in a foam rather than a cream, which lightens up the product a bit. It doesn't have any film-forming ingredients (which would provide hold), so the claim that it won't leave hair "crunchy" is accurate. I can see how it could do a great job of taming thick, curly hair, whether one wanted to leave it curly or straighten it. However, I have fine, straight hair. I tried using a very small amount of this product in place of my usual lightweight leave-in conditioner (Giovanni Direct Leave-In) and mixing it with some gel (Giovanni More Body Hair Thickener). It left my hair very smooth, but definitely weighed it down and left it feeling coated. So unfortunately, this product just isn't for me. Ingredients: Water, Carbon Dioxide, Cetearyl Alcohol, Panthenol, Petrolatum, Mineral Oil, Cetrimonium Chloride, Methylparaben, Fragrance, Sea Salt, Hydrolyzed Keratin.

So I like this fragrance better than I expected to. I'm sensitive to many fragrances, which often make me sneeze or give me a headache, and my body chemistry tends to make lots of fragrances turn bad on me. Fortunately Parisienne has none of these problems. It is soft, slightly sweet floral that initially has a stronger rose note than I prefer, but once it settles, it's quite nice. With notes of damask rose, blackberry, and sandalwood, it has a nice balance of floral, fruity, and woody notes. However, I still prefer Marc Jacobs Daisy, which is a lighter, brighter fragrance.

Maybe it's just me, but I could not get this mascara with its wacky brush to work for me. It left my lashes very clumpy, worse than most mascaras with rubber-bristled brushes. Also, although all mascaras flake at least a little on me, this mascara left a generous sprinkling of flakes below my eyes that was very unattractive. And a word about the colors L'Oreal made for this--two blacks, one that's very black and one that's grayish black. It seems to me that a brownish black would be more natural looking and make more sense than a grayish black. overall, I was very unimpressed by this mascara.
