I received a sample size of this mascara as a GWP, and I certainly would never pay retail for this. It's not a bad mascara; it does lengthen my lashes and make them a little thicker, and it clumps only a little and never flakes or smudges. However, it is NOT worth the US$22 that Lancome charges for it. Why? Because I find it makes my lashes look a little spidery, and overall, I don't find it to be any better than a drugstore mascara. Ingredients: water, paraffin, stearic acid, triethanolamine, beeswax, acacia senegal, palmitic acid, carnauba wax, simethicone, sodium polymethacrylate, hydroxyethylcellulose, panthenol, polyquaternium-10, imidazolidinyl urea, methylparaben, propylparaben. May contain: mica, titanium dioxide, carmine, iron oxides, chromium hydroxide green, chromium oxide greens, ultramarines.

I received a sample of this shampoo when I made a purchase at my local Trade Secret. First of all, I must say that I do not have dry hair, but that doesn't seem to matter, because I didn't find this shampoo to be particularly hydrating. In fact, I had to use conditioner after using it, and I don't always need conditioner. The biggest problem I had with it is that it irritated my scalp and made it itch. I'm not sure if I reacted to the sodium lauryl sulfate (vile stuff!) or one of the plant extracts, but I certainly would not buy this shampoo. Ingredients: water, sodium laureth sulfate, sodium lauryl sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, sodium chloride, cocamide mea, hexylene glycol, phenoxyethanol, fragrance, benzyl alcohol, methylparaben, propylparaben, citric acid, glycol distearate, guar hydoxypropyltrimonium chloride, tetrasodium EDTA, propylene glycol, polysorbate 20, algae extract, sage leaf extract, pollen extract, saponaria officinalis extract, wheat gern oil, cymbopogon schoenanthus extract, yellow 5.

I have this product in the shade Lemon. For me, the most important job of a lid primer is that it must prevent eye shadow from creasing on my oily lids. Jane Iredale Lid Primer fails to accomplish this. The Lemon shade does even out the skin tone on my lids, so I can still use it over my usual primer, Urban Decay Primer Potion. However, I don't feel that I really need a product to do this, since I generally wear shadow, which covers up my skin tone. I will not repurchase. Ingredients: Isostearyl Neopentanoate, Mica, Glyceryl Stearate, Cyclomethicone, Carnauba Wax, Silicone Powder, Lecithin, Hydrated Silica. May Contain: Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides, Manganese Violet.

I received a large sample of this as a GWP. As other reviewers have noted, it does get warm and can make skin red and irritated. I have sensitive fair skin that is prone to such reactions. Fortunately, on me the redness dissipates after half an hour or so, but I wouldn't purchase this for myself. One thing I have learned from Paula Begoun is that excessive warmth (the kind that makes skin red) is bad for skin. Ingredients: calcium chloride, dimethicone, isononyl isononanoate, hydrogenated lecithin, sodium cocoyl isethionate, isododecane, polysilicone 11, polysorbate 80, polysorbate 20, cellulose, polyethylene, salicylic acid, acetyl glucosamine, octyldodecanol, chamomilla recutita, silica, caprylyl glycol, peg-2m, blue 1 lake, yellow 5 lake.

I like these matte shadows. They're fairly well pigmented (though not as much as Stila), and they wear well. However, Clinique has chosen not to develop many different shades of this shadow. Such a shame, because if they had more shades, I'd take this shadow more seriously. But if Clinique clearly sees the velvet formula as an afterthought, why should I consider purchasing it? Ingredients: talc, corn starch, zinc stearate, isopropyl isostearate, dimethicone, octyldodecyl searoyl stearate, pentaerythrityl tetraisosterate, ginkgo biloba leaf extract, rosa canina fruit extract, zeolite, tetrasodium edta, bht, sorbic acid, methylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben. May contain: mica, iron oxides, titanium dioxide, ferric ferrocyanide, ultramarines, blue 1 lake, bismuth oxychloride, carmine, chromium hydroxide green, chromium oxide greens, yellow 5 lake, manganese violet.

These were the first shadows I purchase, and they're great for makeup beginners because they're very sheer and thus very forgiving. They also have some great color combinations, even some matte ones. However, now I prefer my shadows to have more pigment, so I've moved on to Stila shadows. Ingredients: talc, ptfe, microcrystalline cellulose, caprylic/capric/stearic triglyceride, mineral oil, silica, zinc stearate, lecithin, aluminum myristate, chloroxylenol, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, propylparaben. May contain: bismuth oxychloride, mica, titanium dioxide, aluminum powder, bronze powder, copper powder, ultramarines, ferric ferrocyanide, carmine, manganese violet, chromium hydroxide green, chromium oxide greens, iron oxides.

This is my absolute favorite lipstick. It's sheer, moist, fragrance-free. It doesn't turn bright on my pigmented lips and never looks too made-up. I have several shades of this product and want several more. I do wish, however, that they would make some shades without shimmer, even though the shimmer is thankfully subtle. Ingredients: pentaerythrityl adipate/caprate/caprylate/heptanoate, octyldodecanol, bis-diglyceryl polyacyladipate-2, hydrogenated dilinoleyl alcohol, polyethylene, stearoxy dimethicone, silica, polybutene, microcrystalline wax, barium sulfate, shea butter, purified water, theobroma grandiflorum seed butter, tocopheryl acetate, lauryl pca, hydroxyethylcellulose, oleic acid, c20-40 pareth-10, ethylhexylglycerin, triethoxycaprylylsilane, polyglyceryl-4 isostearate, hexyl laurate, cetyl peg/ppg-10/1 dimethicone, polyethylene terephthalate, acrylates copolymer, calcium sodium borosilicate, bht. May contain: mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxides, red 7 lake, yellow 5 lake, carmine, red 6, red 22 lake, red 30 lake, yellow 6 lake, blue 1 lake, red 28 lake, red 33 lake.

This is one of my favorite foundations. It's especially great for oily skin, and I find it to be quite versatile. I can use it all over when my skin is oily, and even when my skin is drier it works great for spot covering. One thing I like is that it actually matches my fair skin without turning orange from oil after a few hours. It blends easily and has a powdery matte finish that doesn't look overly dry or cakey (at least on oily skin), and it doesn't emphasize dry skin nearly as much as Clinique Stay True and Superfit do. It has a medium coverage that I have found builds well enough that I no longer need a separate concealer to cover blemishes. It doesn't clog my pores or make me break out. Ingredients: water, cyclohexasiloxane, nylon-12, isododecane, alcohol denat., cyclopentasiloxane, peg-10 dimethicone, cetyl peg/ppg-10/1 dimethicone, peg-20, hdi/trimethylol hexyllactone crosspolymer, titanium dioxide, glycerin, silica, alumina, aluminum hydroxide, magnesium sulfate, disodium stearoyl glutamate, disteardimonium hectorite, polyglyceryl-4 isostearate, acrylates copolymer, methylparaben, phenoxyethanol, butylparaben, tocopherol. May contain: iron oxides, titanium dioxide. P.S. Notice that unlike so many other Lancome products, this is fragrance free. Another plus!

This mascara does a good job of lenghtening lashes, but it doesn't thicken them at all. It also fulfills its claim of being smudge-proof; it doesn't smudge or flake on me at all. So why won't I repurchase? Because the brush is poorly designed for lower lashes, and I always managed to smear some of the mascara directly from the brush to the skin under my lashes as I am applying it. If Maybelline would redesign the brush I might be interested again. Ingredients: Water, Hydrogenated Stearyl Olive Esters, Carnauba Wax, Cera Microcristallina Microcrystalline Wax, Ethylenediamine/Stearyl Dimer Dilinoleate Copolyme, Acrylates/Ammonium Methacrylate Copolymer, Acrylates Copolymer, Pentylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Triethanolamine, Palmitic Acid, Trimethylpentanediol/Adipic Acid/Glycerin Crosspol, PVP, Cyclopentasiloxane, Phenoxyethanol, Rayon, Methylparaben, Polysilicone-11, Isoceteth-20, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Simethicone, Disodium EDTA, Poly Toluylene Co Trimellic Amide Imide, Isopropylparaben, Octylacrylamide/Acrylates/Butylaminoethyl Methacry, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Propylparaben, Lecithin, Isobutylparaben, Butylparaben, Laureth-4, Tocopheryl Acetate, Iron Oxides. May Contain: Titanium Dioxide, Carmine, Ultramarines, Chromium Oxide Greens, Chromium Hydroxide Green, Manganese Violet, Mica, Ferric Ferrocyanide.

I recently received a sample of this product. It is designed to be a body and hair cleanser for babies. I don't have any children, so I thought of giving this product to my sister who has two-year-old twins. However, she doesn't use any products with parabens on her children, so that eliminated that option. Instead, I tried it as a body wash on myself. I found it to be rather watery, and it didn't lather very well. I'm not impressed. Ingredients: Water, PEG-40 Glyceryl Cocoate, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Sodium Coceth Sulfate, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Cocamide DEA, PEG-150 Distearate, Phenoxyethanol, Disodium PEG-4 Cocamido, Mipa-Sulfosuccinate, Glycol Stearate, Citric Acid, Fragrance, Sodium Methylparaben, Panthenol, Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Sodium Chloride, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben.
