UPDATE: 1/27/15: Along with it being more drying, after trying the ELF lipsticks, they are also not as pigmented as ELF. At least the ELF Studio line, but these are a bit more, so I still like WNW for only a buck!! ................. Excellent bargain, especially for someone like me that usually wears lipgloss rather than lipstick. Plus, I can try all kinds of colors and not feel guilty. The only reason I did not give the lipstick a 10 is because like other reviewers said, it is drying and you will need lip balm underneath.

I received this as a sample from my dermatologists office and it really shocked me; I hadn't heard that many good things about this product but I figured I would take a few tubes and try it myself. First off, although I am not a scientist, I am a skincare guru and I was not impressed with the ingredients. I prefer something with antioxidants and non-chemical sunscreens. However, from a cosmetic standpoint, this was one of the worst suncreens I have used under makeup. It left a white cast for hours, and even into the afternoon, I would touch my face and white would come off. I would look in the mirror and not see it anymore, but when touching my face it would come off. I ended up getting "white" in my eyebrows that never absorbed and around my hairline. I was at work and never used to check my sunscreen before I left the house, but this one I really had to. It just didn't ever seem to want to absorb. Which is surprising since the formula is on the lighter side and easy to apply. I would not purchase this one.

This is not a bad mascara but it really requires a lot of "work" to get the look I want. First off, the packaging; super cute! Very reminiscent of a Maybelline mascara. The brush, however, is HUGE. It is probably the biggest brush I have ever seen on a mascara. This makes it very awkward when applying; the brush tends to get mascara on the lash line or eyelid when applying. It is very difficult to control as a result; if it was just a bit smaller, it would be easier to get in those smaller areas and wiggle without getting mascara on skin. I did like the definition and even the length, but found it to bit a bit clumpy. By the end of the day, I had no smudges (yaaaay!) and hardly any flakes! However, because it takes me longer to apply than another mascara might, I probably wouldn't try again. For me, this is not a HG. I prefer a mascara that just works perfectly, right off the bat! Call me spoiled. LOL

I was hoping this product would soften, smooth, add shine, tame frizz, etc. but if anything, it did the exact opposite. My hair is long (to my armpits), thick, slightly coarse/wavy and highlighted/color treated. After washing my hair, I applied 2 and a half pumps to my hair and immediately didn't like the feel. Unfortunately, I didn't review the ingredients before applying otherwise I would have noticed that Benzyl Alcohol was included about halfway down. I wouldn't use thison my face (too drying) and had I noticed, wouldn't use it on my hair either. My hair just felt DRYER; the cuticle was rougher and I had a harder time drying my hair - it was just left a bit frizzier and unmanageable. Now, I originally saw this on You Tube and the woman's hair turned out so beautiful, but she was fortunate to begin with. For me, it really did not work at all. I was so unhappy with the results that I would never purchase again. I am not someone who likes "hold" in ANY of her products unless it is hairspray. I want my hair to be soft and smooth, and very touchable. I just didn't get that effect with this product. If you prefer a product with hold, then maybe this would work for you. As a sidenote, the packaging has changed from the TB picture.

I have been using a top coat by Sally Hansen for years, and for whatever reason, I decided to switch it up and try the Mega Shine. And there was no "mega shine" about this polish! Even though the directions advised to put on a thick coat, the texture was so thin that it made it impossible. It did dry quickly, so that was a plus; however, I found the shine to be almost non-existent. It was a dull shine that reminded me of a very "natural" shine; something that I could get from using a buffer on my natural nail. I prefer a true MEGA shine that has a mirror finish that almost screams the opposite of natural. LOL I tried applying two coats and that gave me a bit more shine but nothing impressive. In addition, this top coatdidn't extend my manicure in any way. In fact, it kind of did the opposite but peeling off of my nails within 3 days. I am not sure if they have changed the formula (the packaging has since changed; blue top with mirror/chrome bottle) but I did not have any luck with this at all. Back to my old SH top coat! (SH Super Shine - thicker formula; coats the nail and prolongs the manicure and has MORE shine than Mega Shine.)

I saw this in a Target ad and the colors looked so creamy! Wow - amazing what a print ad can do. :) When I stopped at Target, I went back and forth on this palette in Rich Gold. In person, the "golds" were more like a "dirty gold" and they just didn't look as creamy. It was my first experience with a Pixi eyeshadow and I decided to give it a shot anyway. The first thing that I noticed was that the packaging was annoying; it has a flip top and when an eyeshadow palette is 5 or 6 inches long, it feel awkward to me to flip the top up. I would have liked to see different packaging with this. When I swatched the colors, they were pigmented but not very creamy. There also seemed to be a bit of overspray I was seeing (when the top is sprayed a certain color, and once it is removed or peels off, the color underneath is different). When I first dipped my brush in it, the color removed as it should, and there was some white I was seeing. I then took a q-tip and started pressing into the shadow and creating a line, but the color seemed to go all the way down. I tried this on a few of the shadows where I was seeing white. When I applied it on my eyelid, I really had some difficulty blending the color. I just was not impressed with the quality of this palette at all. There are others out there that are half the price that work better.

Just to clarify, ELF has two stipple brushes: the Small Stipple Brush (amazing! Perfect for applying cream blushes) and the Stipple Brush. This review is for the Stipple Brush (the larger of the two). I have been using the Small Stipple Brush for a long time now and it is a cream blush's best friend! So I thought when I was doing a Cyber Monday haul, that if the Small was amazing, how amazing would the regular size be???? Ha! I was wrong. :) More does not always mean better! This brush is quite large; larger that the picture seems to be. I would say the bristles are about 2 inches tall and maybe 2 and a half inches wide, or even 3. It was a difficult brush to use; I tried applying cream blush and there wasn't enough control to my surprise (welcome back, Small Stipple Brush!). I then tried to use it for stippling foundation, and it was okay, but a but useless. I could really use any brush or sponge to press the foundation into my pores. This brush really just seemed unnecessary. There are so many other brushes in my collection that I love and could easily grab for when applying my blushes or foundation; this just isn't one of them. As always, the packaging on the ELF Studio Brushes is a win and the softness of the bristles is impressive; it's just not a brush that is really needed.

I am really loving this moisturizer! There aren't really any ingredients in it that specifically will improve tone (other than a bit of OTC retinol and SPF); however, this moisturizer is the best I have tried at the drugstore level as far as how easy it is to apply and soak in my skin. I don't have that awful white cast from this product. I also experience no burning or irritation. This product also has the slightest bit of mica (or silica) which gives a "glowing" appearance which is really just cosmetic, but still nice! I would only change 2 things about this; one, I would add antioxidants to this. Two, I would remove the fragrance. It kind of smells like bananas to me! Ha. I prefer using fragrance free products on my skin and antioxidants help a sunscreen work soooo much better! This is the best drugstore option (even better than an Olay one that I tried recently). It is a little pricey IMO for drugstore (around $18.99) but it is the best available at a drugstore. I would highly recommend this!!!

I researched a lot of trimmers before I purchased this one and I was surprised at the bad reviews on so many trimmers. I have never really had a trimmer that didn't remove hair or gave me any kind of real issues, and this trimmer is of no exception. I use it to remove the peach fuzz from my face and to groom around my eyebrows and nose and it works just fine for that. It's a pink metal color and operates on a battery; I haven't had any issues with the battery running out of anything like that either. What is interesting about this product is that it has a longer trimmer on one side and a smaller on the other; I use the smaller side for trimming around my nose and it makes it super easy. I would definitely recommend.

I purchased this brush when I purchased some mineral foundation and mineral concealer products from ELF. I found that this brush was just too small to really use it to apply the mineral powder foundation; however, I was able to use it for applying mineral concealer under the eyes. Could I have used another brush for this? Absolutely. I would not repurchase as it seems to be just an extra brush that I really don't need. However, as the other ELF brushes, the style of the brush and the softness of the bristles are a win for me! But again, just nothing that I need or really would use in my collection.
