My hair is thick, slightly dry, and wavy. I have been using a product by Treseme in their smooth line, and frankly, haven't found anything better so I really should just stick with it! LOL But I have been trying other products lately and this was one of them. It's just okay - the biggest challenge that I had with the product is that it has a bit of hold to it which I find somewhat drying. When you have wavy hair or hair on the slightly dryer side, I find that products that claim to smooth but contain an ingredient to create hold at the same time, are just too drying for me. I prefer creating hold with a hairspray when needed for certain styles; not in a day to day smoothing cream. I can't attest to the humidity claims since I have been using this in the winter. It does, however, have a pleasant smell and cute packaging with a pump, which I do like. If your hair isn't on the dry side this may work just fine for you. For me, I just need a bit more moisture.

I purchased this in Brett on a haul. It is a red shade which I have just been obsessed with red lips since the holidays! It felt a little drying, almost a bit matte, and has a doe foot applicator. I wasn't all that impressed; I have several other red lip glosses that I just liked better so I ended up tossing this one out. It doesn't have glitter in it but almost a bit of a shimmer. Nothing special but for a dollar or so, why not?

I really like this mascara. I purchased this on a Cyber Monday haul and it was perfect for the holidays, NYE and any special occasion where you want to add a little more glam! I purchased this mascara in Black Diamond; it provides definition, length and the fun part (for me anyway!), little bluish/silver sparkles that are very subtle. It almost reminded me of the tiniest little snowflakes - perfect for the holidays! As much as I like this mascara, it isn't a HG for me due to the sparkle, but again, for those extra glam times, this is a great option. It isn't so noticeable where you can REALLY see it; you know it is there and if you stare long enough you will see it, but it isn't something that irritated my eyes or made me keep looking at my lashes. No one else noticed it either, so it is very subtle. The only thing I didn't like about the mascara was that I wish I got more volume from this mascara, but it also doesn't claim to provide that.

I purchased several of these duo packs over the holidays. I wish I could give you the colors, but they are all by # rather than name. I swatched them and was immediately impressed with the level of creaminess with these eyeshadows. There was a smoky eye pack (all were packs of 4 duos), a daytime pack and a nighttime. I purchased all of them! The smoky and nighttime are my absolutely favorite; there are duos with a deep green, charcoal, silvery taupe and purple. The daytime has neutrals and even a soft purple shade. The only shadow I didn't care for was in the neutral pack; it looked more like a brown in the pack, but when swatched it was a strange yellowish brown. Other than that one, all of the other colors are VERY usable. If I recall, each pack of 4 was $3.99 and came with 4 duos and an eyeliner. I have used several of these since then and although creamy, some of the colors are not as pigmented as they seem in the packaging. That is my only challenge. I find them to be longwearing and did not experience any creasing when used with the ELF Essentials Eyelid Primer. I also didn't experience much fallout. All in all, a great bargain and an economic way to try many different colors and eye looks!

It is rare for me to give any product a 1; if I do, I have exhausted all options to be able to work with the product, and unfortunately, this product is of no exception. I was looking to try a new stain and was sort of intrigued by this one. The packaging was reminiscent of a longwearing lipcolor (think Covergirl Outlast) rather than a stain. There were a ton of fun colors; Birthday Suit, Fashionista and Heartbreaker, all hugely pigmented colors in the tube (think bright pink and bright fuchsia.) However, when I applied it to my lips, there was very little pigmentation; almost nothing, actually. I was shocked. I reapplied and reapplied several times; the texture was just gross - like a thin paint, well, like a longwearing lipcolor might feel. It had a slight smell of paint also. I started to build up some color after about 4 coats, then I applied the clear coat over the top. To my dismay, the applicator/product took off the little pigmentation that I was able to achieve on my lips. Keep in mind my lips were dry (no balm beforehand) and I am not sure if it was needed, but I did let it sit for a few minutes before applying the clear coat. On top of the applicator removing the color from my mouth, the consistency of the clear was thin and runny and did not provide much of a "gloss" appearance. I had to apply and re-apply this as well, but not enough product seemed to get on the applicator. This was just such a waste of time and money; I would never repurchase and couldn't recommend in good conscience.

As much as I love so many of the WNW products, this one just isn't my favorite. Let's start with the positives - the SIZE of the product is amazing; not unlike the other HUGE bronzers that WNW comes out with. You definitely get the bang for your buck! Secondly, the package with the palm trees is just super cute. Admittedly, that is what really drew me in! I purchased this in Dusk to Dawn, which is the darker of the two options available. Shortly after purchasing this product, I came to realize that it just isn't all that practical. When I swirl my brush over the entire compact, I get a paler version of the pink palm tree, so it was much more of a "blush" than a "bronzer" when doing it that way. If I try to swatch or use the brush on the bronzer only, it gets a little tricky to avoid the pink blush color from the palm tree. If I want the pink pigmentation from the palm tree, it is very difficult to not get the bronzer included in that. As cute as the packaging is, I would have preferred a "duo" similar to what ELF offers; a bronzer or contour on one side and a blush or highlight on the other. This type of packaging just makes the application process more challenging than it needs to be. As a result, I tossed this product as I have other options that just work better.

I really didn't care for this product; I couldn't even finish the tube which is so unusual for me! I like to at least try the product in its entirety before reviewing, but I just couldn't. St. Ives considers this to be one of their more GENTLE exfoliating scrubs. However, the scrubbing "beads" are huge; much too large for the skin. So what St. Ives does is they use these huge beads in a very creamy, oatmeal formula, and don't saturate the formula with the beads. In other words, there are less "scrubbers" in this scrub versus say the Apricot Scrub (which is also way too harsh for skin, as most know nowadays) but the scrubbers are just as big. What they should have done as made this more like the Green Tea scrub, which is more of a "polisher" with smaller scrubbers. The Green Tea scrub has more scrubbers, but the size is much more gentle for skin, yet St. Ives considers the Green Tea to be a deeper exfoliation due to the saturation of scrubbers versus the "base" of the scrub. I hope I am making sense! :) The bottom line is, a polisher is always best and having more "base" than "scrub" but still having large "scrubbers" does not make a scrub more gentle; it is more so the size of the beads or scrubbers that are in the scrub to begin with. I also tried using this as a mask and am not much of a mask person to begin with, so I just ended up tossing it out as I favored the more polishing aspect of the Green Tea. On the plus size, St. Ives is one of the VERY few manufacturers that are not using plastic beads in their scrubs. This is a HUGE plus for me! The plastic beads from soaps, scrubs and toothpaste are harming animals and our water supply.

I purchased this lipstick in Eggplant, a beautiful plum purple for the winter time. I didn't care for the packaging, but I saw this color on You Tube (not realizing that it was a matte lipstick) and loved it! However, when I tried the product, it was much too drying for me. If you like matte lipsticks, you may enjoy this. I would recommend putting a lip balm underneath for a bit more moisture, but I guess that would defeat the "matte" purpose. LOL However, I am just not a "matte" lover, so for me, it just didn't work out. (FYI- ELF has a similar color in their Moisturizing Lipstick line called Crazy Cranberry and Wine Tour. Both are fabulous and less drying. They also have a matte line that is more creamy than the Jordana.)

This mascara has a very, very natural definition. It darkens my lashes, provides subtle length and that is about it. If you are looking for a natural look, this may be for you. For me, I already have a WNW mascara that I love for "no makeup" days, so this was just an extra mascara that I really wasn't all that impressed with. On the plus side, I can apply several coats with little clumping but also little effect.

Don't be confused; there is an ELF Stipple brush that is large and a bit clunky, but this is its smaller and much more fabulous counter-part. All you have to do is look it up on You Tube or social media and there is a cult following of brush lovers like myself. I adore this brush - it is just the right size for the control needed for both foundation and cream products such as blush or even highlight. For $3, this brush is a STEAL and a MUST HAVE.
