It is sort of rose, sort of mauve, and totally natural looking. It is described as a "sheer dusty rose". It is just that. The gloss has a faint cherry scent - think real cherries, not cherry candy. The scent fades very fast, which I like. There is no flavor. The gloss is fairly reasonably priced compared to most glosses. I just repurchased this in the "Cherry Picked Lip Gloss Quad" - which is a really great value ($28 for 4 full-sized glosses). This gloss came in a set available at Sephora that came with 3 other Cherry Full Color Glosses and 3 Lip Butters. This set has gotten me hooked on Korres. This gloss is #25, otherwise called Natural Purple. As others have said it's more of a rosy mauve, a mlbb color. It has a fair amount of pigment, straddling the line between a sheer gloss and a liquid lipstick. The consistency is wonderful - moisturizing, non-sticky, non-goopy and doesn't leave weird residue on your lips after it's faded away and it's time for reapplication. Smells faintly of cherries, think ripe cherries, not artificial or overly sweet; no flavor. All in all, a wonderful gloss -- and on top of all that, I love that it's natural and the company is animal friendly. All I can say is WOW to this amazingly beautiful color. The color is a beautiful pink somewhere between mauve and rose. I am just starting to try Korres products, but so far I find their color names hilariously inaccurate. This is nowhere near purple, unless Korres likes to consider pink "natural purple". It doesn't matter to me. Like others I got this in the trio set of glosses, but I will definitely buy this one it's own when I am done with the tube I've got. Other pluses: A wonderful creamy texture that is not sticky at all, and a beautful high shine that make this a more of a grown up gloss. I saw this on temptalia's website, and it looked stunning on her lips! It looked like a beautiful, creamy, coral lipstick... despite the name "Natural Purple." Even she made reference to the name being misleading, because there was no purple in this at all. Well, I don't know if I just have unusually pigmented lips or what, but this gloss didn't appear ANYTHING on me like it appeared on Christine's (temptalia) lips! On me, I could see where the name "natural purple" comes from, because this gloss darkened my natural color and made them look very dark mauve. I am not comfortable in lipsticks and glosses that darken my lipcolor, even if others might find it attractive. I am shocked by how many reviewers also said that the name does not match the gloss's name or color (natural purple), and I am probably the only one here who sees what Korres see. I like that this gloss is moisturizing and I like the cherry scent, I just can't stand the color on me. I still would rate it as a better than average product, but I am never going to wear it again since I can't stand the color on my lips. I am planning to return this to Sephora.

I had a Sephora gift card from Christmas, so I decided to indulge myself and buy this $25(!) lip gloss. Sugar Rush is a beautiful cranberry color in the tube, and goes on me as a mid-berry shade that's not too light and not overwhelmingly dark. There's no discernable sparkle, just a pretty sheen. Staying power is medium - it stands up fairly well to eating and drinking, but you definitely have to reapply afterward. As someone else said, these Fresh Sugar glosses smell like a lemon bar with powdered sugar, though the smell is not overpowering and dissipates quickly. The fact that this contains most of the same ingredients as the Fresh Sugar lip treatment makes it an HG for me. After only a day, my lips are noticeably softer, and they feel great when I put this on. Love it! bought it firstly for scent. i'm really sensitive so waxy chemically scented glosses make me feel sick. i love the sweet lemon scent (no taste i'm pretty sure). Sugar Rush looks dark in the tube but goes on semi-sheer. The color is a shiny deep strawberry on me, sort of like my lip color, a perfectly natural gentle red. it is truly moisturizing. staying power is average, but honestly putting this lipgloss on makes me happy and feel positive, and I think makeup that makes one feel happy and sunny is worth a few extra bucks. overall- consistency- thick but not too thick, definitely NOT runny, applicator- does pull out a minimal amount of gloss but i'd prefer that than too much gloss glopping all over my lips, staying power- average, color payoff- actually pretty good for a gloss. recommended for a try if you love scented glosses. the biggest plus is the moisturizing factor, leaves lips soft for a long time after application. Lovely! Moisturizing and beautiful. I have Sugar Kiss in "a playful blush pink," and the color shows on my lips exactly the same as its description. Since the color's pretty light, it'd be good if you do teeth whitening at the same time... It works, tastes, and smells like Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15, so you can skip moisturizer unless your lips are seriously dry. It's not sticky like the famous Stila Lip Glaze, but it catches your hair so just be aware of that! These are truly wonderful glosses. Just what I'd been looking for but could never find. The texture is perfect. Not a hint of stickiness and very emollient. I used to apply lip balm constantly (like an ocd!), but now I only need it at bedtime. My lips are soft and comfortable long after the color fades. Sugar Rush is a beautiful berry, pink shade with no noticeable shimmer. Perfect with my fair skin and green eyes. The tube is very large, but I have already repurchased so I can have one in every bag. I love this gloss! It makes your lips so soft and is not sticky at all. I also love the color which is a very soft red. I can't wait to try out the other colors from this line.

I got this as part of a package my sister sent me, and she never fails to pick out the best products for me, so expect this review to be a rave. First up, when I saw this tucked in her package, I was quite curious how it'll fit my light-medium toned skin since it looked quite intense right off the packaging, but after seeing that this was a tinted lip balm, I knew, it would lightly give my lips a natural tint without looking like a strong dark berry color. The product itself applies so smoothly on your lips. I found that this does give you what it claims to, a moisturizer with a hint of color, unlike some tinted lip balms that would give you more or less of the other. I love the natural color this gave me, so I don't have to worry about having to apply this sparingly because the color might be too overwhelming. This one looks natural no matter how heavily you apply it or reapply it throughout the day. It also moisturizes really well. I find that I can skip my lipbalm, lipstick, lipgloss routine with this one product, and it's very long lasting too! Definitely owe my sister for introducing me to this baby!I recently rediscovered these after reading a review for Cover Girl Lipslicks in ‘Edgy’. I couldn’t find that shade at first, so I picked up ‘Hipster’ instead because it seemed like the next darkest shade (and I like deep-yet-sheer lipcolors). I used to use these Lipslicks about 10 years ago, and had probably 6 shades or so & carried them all around with me in my purse. They kind of fell by the wayside as I ventured into more high-end products, but I still think this is a good, affordable, lightly tinted, lightweight, glossy balm. I wish Cover Girl would update the scent, as these have a dated, perfume-y scent. Its not the best, but its not bad enough to deter me from using these. These come in a plastic tube with a clear lid so the shade color is visible. There’s nothing special about the packaging, but for $2-$5 depending on where you get it, I wouldn’t really expect much. The slanted tip applicator and sheer formula make these easy to apply on the go (a definite plus for me). ‘Hipster’ is a slightly warm, reddish-bronze shade. It has a little pearly shimmer in the tube, but it just looks lightly glossy on my lips. I just apply 2-3 swipes, press my lips together, & I’m good to go. The lasting power is decent, about 2 hours, though it’ll wear off faster if I’m eating, drinking, or if I’m outdoors. It doesn’t have any heavy duty moisturizing effect, though it doesn’t dry out my lips as it wears off. I was excited to finally find ‘Edgy’ and I do prefer that shade to ‘Hipster’ since I like cooler berry & plum shades, but ‘Hipster’ goes on my lips (& in my coat pocket) a few times a week when I’m doing a slightly warmer lip-look. I stock up on this color whenever I see it - I think I have about 4 in reserve at the moment. It's a great color, even on me who normally cannot wear any type or form of red (they turn magenta on me). I also love that I don't need a mirror to apply this lip gloss. I do wish it lasted longer, but such is the nature of lip gloss. It's never gunky, doesn't taste or smell funny, travels well and the color stays true so long as the gloss stays on. Pretty close to a universally flattering reddish color! The only thing I wish was different was the smell. The smell of these glosses remind me of Halloween costume make-up. Yuk. My favorite shades are Daring and Hipster.

When looking for a bronzer I usually go for the ones with several colours in them. I think it make a more natural, sunkissed look. I use this one as a contour to give my face some definition. It is not too shimmery but gives my skin a nice healthy glow that I love! I tend to mix all 4 shades with my brush but I sometime use only the lightest for highlight. This products allows many many different look. I will definitely purchase it again. I use this product to contour my nose and as a bronzer. I like the glow it gives to my skin and since there is a bit of shimmer to it it's great for the summer. I probably won't be using this too much during the winter since I would prefer to have something more matte but during the summer it give you a nice glow. For contouring I think it's great! It doesn't make me look like I'm dirty (since I use the dark brown to contour). I do like that there is also a highlighting shade and a blush shade so it's almost like a 4-in-1 product. I think this is a good product, and for the price, definitely a bargain. Good size, nothing wrong with the packaging, and this product gives a good subtle shine, nothing too much. I agree however that this bronzer is not highly pigmented, but it is not necessarily only a bad thing. For light skin, and I am nw15, it makes it easier to work with, without getting too dark, "dirty" patches on your face. So I don't ever wear bronzer but this was so cheap and the colors were so pretty I couldn't resist. I'm an nc15/20 and bronzer isn't usually in the look I'm going for. This actually goes on really pretty and it's a nice introduction into bronzer. Its not as shimmery as I thought it would be and that's awesome! I like the light for highlighting and I tend to use that more often than the darker colors but overall this is a great combination of colors and I would recommend to a friend.

The casing is a clear plastic container with a screw on/off capping. Within the container is a sifter to help control how much product comes out at once. Even thought with the sifter, though, the amount of product that comes out is a lot. I would recommend putting some of the loose powder the lid and using your brush to collect the amount. Make sure to tap off the brush before application because this powder will cling to your brush and will overdo your application. The purpose of this product is to give an individual a slight sun kissed appearance to their skin. There are only two colors available (one for lighter skin and one for darker skin; there is no middle). The one color designed for lighter skin is called "Shimmer Mineral". I was not too happy with this product. It is a very, very light color and all it does in my opinion is adding sparkle to your skin (that's not giving you a glowing look). I did not really have a problem with this product caking or creasing. It can look a little heavy if you apply too much (as would any other product), so watch the amount that you apply. Remember this is not a foundation, it is to add glow to your skin. A light dusting will do the trick. Generally I am not impressed with ELF products when it comes to the application section. Most of ELF's products wear off within a couple hours. To my surprise (learn something new every day) - this bronzer lasted approx. 6 hours without any touchups.

I was looking for a blush/bronzer combo to carry less items in my bag, and there really are not many options out there other than the NARS duos. They are expensive, so I opted to try this "dupe" since it is $3 at Target. I am kind of confused by the colors, because the bronzer is kind of dark and the blush hardly shows up (I'm a NC30). I cannot say if this is a good dupe for the NARS duos, but the finish didn't feel high end. I do own a couple of other NARS blushes (Sin and Albatross which is more of a highlighter), and they are much smoother than this. I would recommend this if you are broke, but be sure to use a light touch with the bronzer and pile on the blush and you should be good. For 3 dollars, you really can't get much better than this product. The bronzer is a little too opaque and dark for me, and it's difficulty to blend makes it look a little blotchy on my skin. I would recommend lightly tapping your brush on it and then blowing off the excess to ensure that you don't put a blotch of brown on your face. As for the blush, I really like the color especially with the color of the bronzer. The blush is not is opaque which is good because it looks more natural. I usually don't like shimmer in my blush's/bronzer's, but the shimmer in this really isn't that noticeable or overpowering. Overall, I've only used this product a couple times so I don't know if I would buy it again, but for the price you might as well give it a try. Great product for the price. $3, how much cheaper can you get? Quality is ok, too powdery for my liking, but again, b/c it's so cheap, that's ok. I don't wear bronzer usually, so no need to pay big bucks for a bronzer, this does the job for contouring, might be a little hard to blend, considering how powdery it is. Bronzer is very pigmented, so tap off excess before applying. Blush is also very powdery, but lovely color, with gold shimmer to it. I don't think the blush lasts a long time, though. The pink sort of wears off after half a day, the shimmer does stay on your cheeks, so for those who don't like shimmery/glittery cheeks, stay away.

I have this in peachy, coral, rose and pink. Peachy is way to dark for me, so its up for swap. The other three colors are awesome. Coral is a light peach/pink that blends extremely well and looks very natural on my fair skin. Rose is a very pigmented rose color that needs to be applied very lightly and blended well, but gives my cheeks a color like I've just been out in the cold. Pink is a light, sparkly pink color that blends well, leaving a girly pink flush on my skin. These blushes are cheap ($5 each) and are excellent quality for the price. You get a lot in the package as well. The packaging is cute, but the sifter can let too much product out, which becomes messy. If I ever run out of these I will definitely repurchase! I've got this one in the colour "rose" and this is a gorgeous bright coral/pink/rose blush! Love this shade but it is extremely pigmented so be careful with that. It is really smooth quite easy to blend and it lasts forever! My blush looks exactly the same 12 hours after applying it wich is truly amazing! It is very very matt so it can be a little flat looking. I am not a big fan of the regular mineral product packaging. I either end up with way to much product or not enough. But this is such a lovely shade so i will definetly buy this product again! I apply this with a bare escentuals kabuki brush and it looks just wonderful! I got this blush in Rose and it's so beautiful. You really only need a tiny bit...cause it's really easy to overdo. It has fantastic staying power although at the end of the day I can notice that it got a little bit faded and blotchy. Also, when the product comes out through the sifter some of it may come out in small chunks so you may have to crush it to get a fine powder and make it easier to apply. Cute packaging, great price, I'm going back to buy the other colors. I haven't heard about this cosmetic line until recently and I was really surprised how many good stuff it has, especially it's mineral line which I think is really worth trying. I have this in Joy & Bliss shade and somehow I prefer Joy cause it's a bit more pink while Bliss is a bit more apricot. Perhaps on my swatch they look a bit chalky but on face they really are not since I used few layers on my hand. Anyway, it's a great product and I do recommend it to all of you who live mineral cosmetics.

I was so happy when I knew I was going to the US for work last year, because it meant I would finally get to visit Target! Anyway, first thing I did was run to the makeup section, and was so happy to see that they sold ELF!! I got a couple of things, but what impressed me the most was the brushes. I got this powder brush because I've always wanted a flat top brush so I could stipple on my powder, and also I was hoping the edges would help me chisel my face shape better with a bronzer. For 3 bucks I didn't have super high hopes for the brush, and it performed quite well for the chiseling effect. I didn't use it for all over powdering because I always stuck with my kabuki brushes for that. Then not long ago when I got kinda lazy doing my makeup, I started using the same brush (right after my bronzer) as an all over face powder brush as well. It was pretty good and worked the same as my kabuki brushes, if not, better. It's nice not having to pull out 10 different brushes in the morning... really. I'd rather sleep for an extra minute. I also think that the left over bronzer on my brush gave my face a more even tone when I used it again for the powder. Quality wise, the hair was quite scratchy at the beginning, but after the conditioning, it got a lot softer. I also hate how the brush is so heavy near the hair, which makes it kinda hard to lay on the counter without it falling into the sink (ew). Anyway, good brush for 3 bucks! But nothing super amazing in my opinion. I normally use a sponge to apply my foundation and I just never got a full coverage look. I have acne issues with scarring. I used it in the morning with my liquid foundation and it gave me a great med coverage. I didnt want it too heavy for work but i know when i want a full coverage to go out at night it will do the trick. I bought one for my powder as well and i love both uses! i need to stock up on these brushes! i did notice a little shedding at first after first wash but nothing since. This is a fantastic brush for applying foundation. I have been looking for a reasonably priced synthetic flat top brush for a while and was willing to spend more than the $3 that I did for this brush, but when I came across it in Target, I knew I needed to test it out. As soon as I brought it home, I used it to buff on my liquid foundation and it was amazing. It is so soft and has a great weight. I think I may need another because want a separate one for powder too!

This just might be my new fav...it's currently competing with my new Urban Decay Lip Junkie Lipgloss - Heavy - which has lived up to it's claim of being the perfect nude on any complexion (read that review later ;). I love how this looks and feels on - the silicone in it gives it a unique texture and and unbeatable shine that lasts for quite some time. I will say that at first I wasn't so bothered by the applicator but now I hate it! Sometimes if it ain't broke, don't fix it! A lip BRUSH is still more ideal... The color is a pretty muted brown with a sheer, slight peach/pink undertone and absolutely no sparkle (with this much shine you don't need any)... I have seen many reviewers claim that these glosses are virtually colorless. As I have only tried this one and Samba (which was a sheer pink and gorgeous - but VERY sheer), I can't speak to that because Monkey Pirate most definitely has a color to it and I would almost call it a deep nude - which is perfect for us girls with some color as most nudes are only made for very pale white women as if nude only comes in one shade - lol! This is the most unique gloss line I've tried in a while...and I may pick up a few more shades. Has cute packaging and nice sheer finish. Will repurchase.

In the spring/summer it's a perfect way to switch up your look without being drastic. I keep getting that "there's soothing different about you, but I can't tell what it is" kind of compliment. It's a little clumpier than Sephora brand blue mascara, but great color. I got both the Sabochan (purple) and Baby rocker (blue) colors. I was disappointed that the purple does not show up at all on my eyelashes (I have dark brunette to black eyelashes naturally), regardless of how much I layer on. The blue color does show up after several coats and is a cobalt-blue color. This product is good if you want long lashes, but if you want that "fake-lash" effect, you're not going to get it. It leghtnes them and makes them a bit noticable, but not much. This is truly blue. I got the color baby rocker, and I couldn't be more pleased. It is VERY electric blue. The more you layer it the brighter it gets. it does lengthen your lashes, but it doesn't really volumize or define them, but thats okay, because I bought this mainly for the color. The problem it has, is that if you dont wait for your lashes to dry before applying more coats, your lashes will clump together and look horrible. Also, watch out for the extra on the end of the wand. Oh, and by the way, this is the LARGEST mascara tube i've seen in my life. I love this mascara! I got it in the blue. From other reviews I see that people are saying it's clumpy, which it kinda is, but it still if fine to me. What I personally do is put black mascara on and let it dry and then put the blue over, and it makes me eyelashes blue. All my friends think it's so cool. Love it! i'm always down to try something punk rock and different. i bought this in the blue color, and found i had to apply many coats for the color to be more noticeable. but the result is pretty cool! you can see it best in flash photos and in bright lighting. i didn't think it would be that noticeable from a couple feet away, but one time this girl was standing at least 3 feet away and complimented my lashes. i don't wear it much though because the mascara doesn't work so well with my contacts. when i do wear it it's for the color. it doesn't do much for volumizing or lengthening. one time i was cashiering at work and this middle aged man all of a sudden said "you know, i rarely notice make up or anything like that.... but your eyelashes are really pretty looking." :D i'd like to try the green one, but don't know if it's worth it. i want some volume as well as a punch of color.
