I really love this mascara! It adds so much volume and a bit of length to my medium length lashes. And the black colour is the blackest black i've ever seen in a mascara! It doesn't flake or smudge at all. The reasons why I rate this 4 out of 5 is, that when i'm hurry in the morning and need to apply this quickly, it gets all over my eyelid because the brush is a little big for me. But well that's just my opinion. UPDATE: I'VE FOUND THE BEST WAY TO APPLY THIS 2000 CALORIE MASCARA without getting it on your eyelids. If you put some vaseline on your lashes before you go to bed (of course you have to remove the mascara first) then next morning your lashes will be much more voluminous and it's alot easier to apply the mascara. Just a tip. Mascara is never going to provide the same effect as false-lashes, get over it. I'd wanted to try this for ages, as is the way with most cosmetic products these days. This one is of excellent quality. It adds loads of volume to my lashes, doesn't smudge or flake whatsoever, and most importantly, provides the most richest-black colour of any mascara I've ever tried. For that reason alone, max factor 2000 calories really stands out to me. It reminds me VERY much of Maybelline's falsies, in that it really thickens up the lashes and adds length, only this one is much darker. It is my new everyday mascara, with the only cons being that the formula is slightly wetter than I prefer (not a deal breaker though), and the brush is a little on the big side for me and sometimes I get it on my lids - but it comes off skin easily and is a small price to pay for a great inexpensive mascara. Have tried sooo many mascaras - Diorshow, Chanel, Maybelline, L'oreal, MAC, Japanese brands... this is one of few that has met my needs. Other faves are Estee Lauder Zero Smudge Lengthening, and a random brand from my local beauty store, called Isabelle Dupont (EXCELLENT mascara). I also like that it's really black; can be built up for a dramatic look or one coat for day is great (a bit on the intense side still but at least it doesn't clump). I bought this product on a recent trip to the UK after hearing so many good reviews...and I must say I agree with the hype. This mascara is AMAZING. With one coat of this, my lashes are long, full, and curly. I don't even bother curling them anymore! HG. Go buy yourself some- the price won't break the bank either.

I finally found these at Walgreens. I wanted to try them based on all the positive reviews. I ended up getting four of them. The packaging is pretty sturdy. I threw out the brush it came with, but I always do that. The product itself is really nice, it looks much more glittery in the pan than on skin. It is shimmery on, but definately not over the top at all. Of the colors I got this is my least favorite, because it pulls really warm on me, it looks more pink in the pan. Great product overall, will buy more of these. When I first saw reviews on these online, I was immediately intrigued: not only are they shaped very similarly to my much beloved collection of MAC Mineralized Skinfinish blushes, but they are so much more affordable at $7.99 a piece! Everywhere I read reviews on these blushes, they are always saying something along the line “You need this!” or “Dupe for MAC MSFs”. I love this blush so much–the lightest sweep of your brush will pick up enough product to apply on your cheeks. One thing that definitely stood out was the plastic packaging. I’m not a fan, and I think the gold/yellow packaging looks so tacky! It’s not as sturdy as I hoped, and I really hated how it looks, and would never consider purchasing it if it wasn’t for the quality. All of the colors are packed with glitter, so this might not be a favourite for some. My favourite of the bunch have got to be Corallina and Rose D’Oro. They are the most gorgeous coral shade, with shimmery gold veins across. It’s not only pretty to look at, but looks amazing on my skin! It’s quite powdery, so it’s best not to sweep it back and forth, but rather pat the blush several times lightly. I added a swatch for MAC's Margin and Milani's Rose D'Oro they are almost exactly the same, I'd say they are almost interchangeable as far as color goes, if anything under direct light margin is a bit rosier, and rose d'oro a bit more peachy, on my skin tone at least, NC 25. Also, the Milani blush is much more pigmented, I had to swatch margin way more times to get it to show up. This is a really beautiful blush, like many others have said it's a rose color with goldish veining. On my skin it looks rather peachy/bronze looking, kind of reminiscent of MAC's Margin. The gold shimmer is not too much but really makes my face have a glow to it especially now in the winter. I bought this, corallina and red vino at the same time, I ended up giving way more love to corallina, until I left it in another makeup bag and used this instead. Its really pigmented and you can layer it, I find that I dont use a bronzer when I wear this, whereas I need one with corallina and red vino, this is a bronzy blush, at least on my skin tone. What i love about these baked blushes is the fact that they dont look powdery on the skin, as a retin-a user I really appreciate the pigmentation and the fact that they formulation doesnt cling to my flakies. I love the colors/bronzers and blush milani is coming out with. Great product.

I got this palette about a month ago, after reading lots of good reviews about it in different blogs. I found it a little bit expensive, but it's totally worth it! The colors are beautiful, very pigmented, with gorgeous neutral tones (except for the purple one, that isn't neutral, but is discreet enough). The pans are big and the quality is comparable to MAC, for sure. The black color is more pigmented than MAC's carbon... I am really glad with this palette, and unless you already have all the neutrals you need (with high quality), this is a really good palette to have! I received this in a swap and she gave me a great dael(thanks gjj!) on this palette... i believe it's only available in salons now. i love mac eyeshadows, but these are far more pigmented! carbon is nothing compared to the "black" in this palette-- it's very pigmented, the most of any i've tried! "copper"(frost) and "brown" (matte)combine nicely for a great smoky eye,"wine" is a deep eggplant, "vanilla" is a pigmented satin color, "peach" is a frosty pale peach, "natural" is a frosty nude, "passion" is a sparky magenta. these pans are HUGE. i absolutely love this palette. if i could find this again, i'd buy it on the spot.

My mom bought this in Play, because she loves big chunky crayons. Somehow I inherited it. Application is nice, not draggy, and color actually stays on well. I use it as a base for greenish shadows, because really, I don't need this kind of color much. I think in a light, creamy color it would make a good hilight. Hard to find a sharpener for this size pencil, if you didn't buy theirs. I bought this product in 008 Faith ( a pearly pink ) and love it. It's super cheap and is a fantastic highlighter with a beautifully smooth consistency. I use it on my brow bone and inner eye and occassionally put a dab right above my upper lip to make them look fuller. Catches the light beautifully and isn't overbearing. It has decent lasting power but I find that I do have to reapply by the afternoon. However, for this cheap of a price I'll reapply without complaint! It's a jumbo pencil so I bought Rimmel's jumbo pencil sharpener in order to sharpen it. I haven't had any problems with the pencil breaking during sharpening so there's minimal waste. Overall a really great product and a much better deal than any of the more expensive products that do the same thing. I bought this product in 2 colors because it's so much cheaper than its higher end relatives. The colors that I have are the pearly white, and 008 faith ( pinkish color.) The white doesn't go on as smoothly as the pink but both have very nice subtle shimmers in them. I have used several other highlighters( e. g. shiseido, canmake, clarins) and while this one doesn't have the best packaging ( it's just a pencil with a cover), it is easy to use ( because it's in a pencil form), and is very cheap. Good for everyday natural look. In general, I prefer the pink over the white because it goes on smoother and looks more natural.

This is a great everyday mascara. I bought Full N Soft about two weeks ago as I was looking for a less costly alternative to my usual mascaras (badgal, extase and YSL). I absolutely LOVE this mascara for the following reasons: 1. Doesn't flake 2. You can layer it without have the spidery look 3. Extremely buildable to create a more dramatic look 3. Price tag I've seen reviews stating that you can't layer it enough to create a dramatic evening look but I've had the opposite experience and use it all the time for nights out. I have this in my makeup bag along with Dior's Extase and I haven't reached for the Extase since I bought this mascara! I would strongly recommend everyone try this mascara at least once! This is by far the best mascara I have ever used! Does exactly what it claims, gives you full and soft lashes. The only downfall is that after about a month it does start to flake on me, but everything else about it is perfect. I've used both the washable and waterproof versions, I like the washable one cause it is thicker but the waterproof is just as good, if not a little more difficult to take off. I use Albolene either way and it comes off really easily. I wish I could still find it in brown though, that was the best for my red hair/blue eyes, but black looks great too. I decided to purchase Maybelline Full 'N Soft after seeing all the positive reviews it received here (plus there was a sale on Maybelline products at my local department store), and I have to say that this mascara really does give you full and soft lashes. It separates your lashes and coats them evenly, giving nice, full volume. It also holds a curl quite well. My favourite thing about it though, is that it doesn't leave your lashes stiff like ordinary mascaras do. It's great if you're looking for an everyday, natural look. I'm so glad I bought it! It's become my go-to mascara.

Clinique High Definition Lashes Brush Then Comb Mascara
CLINIQUE HIGH DEFINITION LASHES BRUSH THEN COMB MASCARA
Oooooh! This is my absolute favourite mascara.......EVER! I seem to collect mascaras and foundations,as they are my two favourite makeup items. This is my most favourite mascara! Love how thick and lush it makes my lashes look. Goes on quickly and volumises and lengthens effortlessly. And thats saying something for a lash-challenged girl like me. I don't mind that it isn't waterproof,as I prefer non water proof mascara anyway. Please never stop making this Clinique! I would cry :) I received this mascara for Christmas and have been pleasantly surprised by it's performance. The brush has two sides, a flexible comb side and a traditional brush side. I find for individual lash definition and length, I prefer to use the comb side. This mascara does not flake or transfer, but it is NOT waterproof at all. I wore it while I had a cold and, and even a single tear from a sneeze left me with marks under my eyes. The tube itself is rather skinny, so you don't get as much product as others I have tried. But overall I would by it again as it is one of my favorites, especially if there was a waterproof version available. I agree with another reviewer. This coats very well without clumping and looking cheap and fake and spidery (I hate spider lashes!). Building is easy. So good day to night wear with varying coats. have tried dior chanel even drugstore mascaras, clinique seems to be my goto. I have fairly naturally lush lashes , and these dont weigh em down either. I have found defining mascaras much better than volumizing ones, less clump, more professionally done makeup look. I have very long, thick lashes to start with so if I comb my lashes too many times I end up looking borderline ridiculous. I bought this mascara because I liked the idea of being able to comb out after, which I used to just do with a regular mascara brush that I cleaned off from an old tube. If you struggle in the lash area, I bet this would be amazing, for me I am going to reserve it for night time. I bought it in brown/black.

I dislike the heavy feeling of lipstick, leaving lip prints on my drink, having to reapply, and generally feeling "made-up." That is why I love lip stains, and I specifically love this formula. I don't find it too drying (especially since I can moisturize without removing the color.) It last such a long time, and is totally low-maintenance. I especially love its versatility: I can layer it. For example, if I'm just going to school or something I put a dab in the middle of my lower lip, and two dabs in the middle of my upper lip, and blend it all out with my finger or a q-tip if I'm feeling fastidious. Then I can leave it or top it with balm or gloss. Sometimes I put on lip balm before the stain. It doesn't last as long, but the margin of error is lessened slightly. If I'm performing and want to use this for the stage, I'll take the applicator and line my lips and blend inward, and repeat a couple of times. Then I'll dab again in the center of my upper lip and blend out. After that I can top it with whatever long-lasting gloss I want and voila! As some reviewers said, it absorbs very quickly, so it can be tricky to blend into the cheeks. I sometimes mix a little of the stain with a very small pump of my moisturizer if I want the color on my cheeks; it makes it much easier to blend. I bought this product about two years ago, and I'm still working on the first bottle (Baby Boo), so I a little goes a long way. All in all, a very versatile and useful product, and I'd buy again if I ever ran out. I bought this over a year ago in My Sunshine a warm cherry color, and have been very pleased with it. I use it both for (moisturized) cheeks and lips, and I've found it helps make a good base for other lip glosses/colors I want to apply over. The consistency and applicator are liquid but not too runny. It's very potent so a couple of dabs are enough- but you do have to be quick about blending it. At $20-something dollars, I'd say it's a good value considering I've been using it for more than a year now and I'm only halfway finished. I bought this from qvc in Liquid Kiss. I had been using Origins cheek gel, Stila gel and Clinique so I guess you could say I like the concept. When I first tried the Longo version I was unhappy with the blending process but I can see from the other reviews that I must have been doing something wrong or was just not quick enough. When I tried it again using a Beauty Blender sponge I found that I wasn't as clumsy and liked it alot better. It lasts forever, giving you a nice flush that doesn't look fake.

I like this product but its not a HG. I got it in a Christmas kit with the shower gel and body butter. I love Korres so was curious to try their lip butters so I was happy to buy this in the kit. I use this by itself or as a primer under my lip stick for smoother application. If you put too much on you will get a white film but I don't have that problem as I use more sparingly. I wouldn't recommend this as a night treatment or something for severely chapped lips (Smiths rosebud salve is better for that). Its more something to put on when you don't want to look too "made up" and gives a gorgeous "your lips but better" look Pros: moisturizing, smooth, great colour and I love the pot Cons: Too expensive and I think I would like to see what else is out there before I would come back to this colour. I would try some of the other colours first. Overall? I love the product but its not my HG colour so I won't repurchase this colour but I am happy I have it. This lip butter smells more of coconut to me than guava. I really wanted to love this lip butter but it just didn't work for me. I think I would actually like it if it didn't leave a white film on my lips. I also think it should be called a lip balm rather than lip butter as it didn't feel all that creamy to me. I also bought quince and plum and the quince is much much more buttery. This balm moisturizes well unlike some other lip balms I've tried (Murad pomegranate lip treatment...). However, the name is misleading since it doesn't smell like guava at all. Like other reviewers, I'm also not a fan of the packaging. I usually apply this at night since it leaves a whitish cast on my lips if I slather it on (a little goes a long way). If I use just a little, it doesn't leave me with white lips. I've tried the colored lip butters and this one is the most moisturizing so far.

I found this to be a surprisingly good lip set. I have Piglet, which contains a beautiful raspberry popsicle stain and clear glittered gloss. The stain applies evenly and wears well, and the gloss isn't sticky and helps the color to last a bit longer. Not the most unique or high-quality of products, but pretty good nonetheless. I am very picky when it comes to lip products. I stay away from glosses because they are generally made too sticky. The gloss on one end of the tube is actually very light and the fine glitter is very flattering. The stain lasts fairly long on my lips and often times I just wear the stain because it looks very natural. By varying the amount, you can achieve different looks. I love this duo and the color I bought is 'Stop'. I got this Hard Candy Stain and Shine in the color Piglet. I do agree with the one other reviewer that the lip stain is definitely a purplish shade. I don't mind because the staying power is extra long and I normally wear a regular lipstick on top of the stain for extra long wear. What I am really crazy about is the softly shimmered clear gloss on the other end. This lip gloss is one of the best I've ever tried. It provides a gorgeous shine and is very long lasting. I have previously used a Hard Candy lip gloss that I was never impressed with. I will purchase this product again as well as get the other color that this comes in. I bought this cause Hard Candy was having a 75% sale. THe color is pretty berry but not a dark color. I enjoy this because I would rather layer the color one by one then have the stain just cover my lips in a dark color without having a choice to turn back. The color is very natural and not overwhelming like most of the other stains out there. (which also means the color is not very shown like the others) The gloss barely has any scent to it which I am very not used to. The texture of the gloss is kind of funky too but it's not something that bad. I bought this and Kiss and Tell Fate and both of them are good for everyday school/casual look. The days when you are lazy or you know you would work a lot but you still want to look pretty.

I bought this primer because I have a lot of foundations that I used before, when my skin was oily. Now my skin is dry and sensitive, and I didn't want to throw out my foundations. I bought this because of the high ratings here. . I have never before found a primer that I like, but this is actually really good for the purpose I bought it for. I must say: this does NOT WORK with my moisturising foundations - then they stripe, slip and n-e-v-e-r dry. BUT: with oil free foundations that are mattifying and long lasting this is great! Examples are: Double Wear from Estee Lauder, Revlon Colorstay, Guerlain Parure, MAC Pro Longwear, Clarins Everlasting Foudation - all of these foundations are for oily skin, but if you have normal or dry skin and this primer, you can wear them too! . My skin is dry and sensitive. NO foundations for oily skin would look good on me, even with a ton of moisturizer - when the moisturizer sunk in and/or evaporated during the day, the foundation made my skin look dry. But not with this! Why I want to wear foundations for oily skin? Because these foundation often have awesome staying power, which is reeeally important for me. This primer makes the foundations look so smooth, perfect and...unnotisable! Before this primer Double Wear looked horrible on me: very obvious, dried my skin out and made my face look very flat. Now it looks natural, dewey (yes! So if you don't like dewey, this may not be for you) ans doesn't dry my skin out AT ALL! It's unbelievably amazing! . My routine: wash face, moisturize, wait for moisturizer to sink in, apply under eye concealer, then this primer (I do not apply to eye area because my concealer doesn't work with it, just as moisturizing foundations don't), Wait for primer to set a little bit. Apply foundation with a sponge. I know this waists more product than brush or fingers, but I prefer this method for this primer because it's easier to achieve an even look this way. . BTW: this is the type of slippery siliconey primer, not the sticky, non-oily type like the types Dior makes, or the L'oreal one. I love this primer! I don't own it because I only wear blush and not really foundation so I didn't think it would really be worth it for me, but my friend let me use hers once. It goes on easily and it dries sooooo soft and velvety. It's actually almost worth wearing alone with out make up over it because of how it makes your skin feel. It did make my blush pop and it seemed like I didn't have to use as much to get the desired effect. I tried it on my eyelids and it really didn't do much as an eyeshadow primer...but I don't think it's really meant for that. I would definitely buy it if I wore foundation more.
