  • EOS Smooth Sphere Lip Balm
    10.0

    EOS Smooth Sphere Lip Balm

EOS ORGANIC LIP BALM - SMOOTH SPHERE

I own every flavor of the EOS lip balms, and the honeydew one is one of my favorites in terms of scent. I absolutely love the packaging and the shape of the lip balm. The ball lets you swipe the product over both lips at the same time. What would make the packaging even more convenient is if they kept the same shape but made it into a flip top so that you don't have to take that extra step to unscrew/screw the top and worry about dropping it. As much as I love the sheer novelty of EOS lip balms, it really doesn't do a great job in moisturizing very dry lips. I find myself having to reapply a lot. But I keep using these things just because they're so darn cute and smell so darn good. I really hope the company will consider making improvements. First of all, Honeysuckle Honeydew is my favorite flavor of the three eos smooth spheres I own (I also have the Sweet Mint and Strawberry Sorbet). I can see why people would say it feels a little waxy, but what I don't understand is what they would think a lip balm would feel like if it wasn't waxy... this feels the same on my lips as any other lip balm, and it feels great!!! This isn't extremely mousturizing, I use plain boring chapstick for that. ;) But when my lips aren't in need of extreme mousture, these eos smooth spheres are great and smell delicious! Plus, what cute packaging. That's my favorite part. :) I reccomend this! Definitely! It's not a lip healer, but does soften my lips. Perfect for just wearing when you don't want to wear lip gloss/lipstick. This taste and smells so delicious! The container itself is super cute and very unqiue. I will definitely be purchasing this again. I thought this was a cute product and brought it even though it wasn't on sale at CVS. I love the scent of honeydew and it has a pleasant sweet taste. But I don't find this lip balm moisturizing at all - and it's extremely waxy so it's no good under lipsticks.

  • Aveeno Essential Moisture Lip Conditioner with SPF 15

Aveeno Essential Moisture Lip Conditioner with SPF 15

    AVEENO ESSENTIAL MOISTURE LIP CONDITIONER

This is the ONLY lip balm that can get me through the winter without dry, cracked lips. It isn't waxy, applies smooth with a slight sheen, and pumps some serious moisture back into your lips. It lasts for hours without reapplication! Great as a base under lip gloss, too. I keep one tube in my purse and another in my nightstand. Don't know how I ever lived without it! So, it's wintertime again. I know I have more lip balms than this. Then viola, I found it! Aveeno's Lip Conditioner! Just what I was looking for in the drying months of winter! This lip balm is AMAZING !!! A life saver when all your other lip balms simply cannot do the trick. Aveeno's Lip Balm is very creamy, applies sheer, and is somewhat thick. I hid this away for the summer because it was too thick for summer. But during these harsh winter times, its absolutely perfect! Picked this up at Target today because the Chapstick brand moisturizing lip balm (blue package) caused me some serious problems. I had gotten tiny little bumps on the outside corners of my lips and my lips felt SUPER dry and chapped all the time. Talked to a friend and she said that the lanolin in the chapstick had given her the same reaction and that I may be having a reaction to it as well. Also, I had been applying that chapstick like crazy, which only further added to the irritation. So I picked up this Aveeno one because it is mostly natural and it does not contain lanolin. This stuff is awesome!! It has shea butter, jojab oil, and of course Aveeno signature oatmeal. I can already tell that my lips are feeling better having applied this product. There's no crazy fragrance and nothing irritating about it. I recommend to anyone who has an issue with chapped lips or just needs some moisture on their lips! • Mary Kay Satin Lips Lip Balm
    10.0

Mary Kay Satin Lips Lip Balm

MARY KAY SATIN LIPS LIP BALM

I love this product! I got the set, which includes the mask and the lip balm. You may also buy them separately. I use the mask every other day, so as not to overdo it. After my third use during the first week, my husband commented that my lips felt softer! He rarely ever notices such things! He didn't even know I was using such a product. I really feel the difference in my lips. My lips tend to be a bit dry and chap towards the inside, and i wind up biting off the peeling skin. But after using this product every other day for a couple of weeks the change is noticeable. I use this product at night before going to bed as part of my nighttime routine. I scrub on the mask and let it sit for 1 - 2 minutes, per the directions. I then rinse off, dry my lips, and put on the lip balm. The balm is not very dense, it's a bit more runny than other lip balms, but I feel that it absorbs well into the lips. I received it in my stocking when I was sixteen years old and haven't looked back since. I forget to use it for a while and end up with flaky lips, this takes those flakes right off. The balm is silky smooth which I love, but to be honest I prefer it in the old tub (kind of like the twist top Carmex tubs with the yellow top and white bottom.) and I believe the Nivea stick balm works just as well. I purchase this for myself to put in my stocking every year, but when funds are tight, I just buy the scrub and any balm. This will leave your lips silllkkky smooth, you don't even have to scrub it if you feel like being miss lazy bones. =) All in all KISSABLE!!! I've had this lip treatment pack for awhile now. I got it from a seller on ecarter for a very low price (2 for 1 deal). I use the exfoliator a lot more than the balm which is why I only gave this combo 4 stars. I would rather get 2 of the lip mask than the balm. The balm isn't long lasting at all and almost feels too watery for my lips so I seldomly use it at night. The exfoliating mask is terrific! I have tried other lip exfoliating tips and this by far does a better job for me. I've had my sets for more than 2 years and have so much left on my first tube set! This stuff last a very long time and you only need very little. I like to use this when my lips are extremely dry, chapped, flaky and during the cold season. Since this set has worked for me I would not mind paying the full retail price at all. If you are on the fence about it, check out ecarter via google for awesome deals, they have google checkout.

  • Avon NATURALS Lip Balm
    7.0

    Avon NATURALS Lip Balm

    AVON NATURALS LIP BALM

For a while I've been obsessed with lipbalms and bought a ton of these yummy Avon sticks. They're all very slick and moisturizing, and some of them really do have some tint and even leave a pretty stain on the lips once they're gone. Naturals Peach is my most unique lipbalm. The peach scent is good, nothing to die for, but fairly true. It's the look, though, that sets it apart: it goes on clear with LOTS of silver shimmer. The shimmer isn't chunky like glitter, but it's quite gritty, you can feel it's there. As I don't mind some on-the-go lip exfoliation, though, that doesn't bother me much. And, for some reason, this is the most moisturizing lipbalm I've yet to try - downright slippery slick, more moisturizing even than the other Naturals balms. A nice product, specially if you favor lipbalms over lipglosses (not much point in wearing a shimmery lipbalm only to hide the shimmer with a gloss on top) and want something with a bit of shimmer for a change. This is a great peach lip balm! I love the smell of peaches, so this is great!! It was only 99 cents, so it was really cheap. There is glitter in it too, which is kind of weird (but nice) for a lip balm. It feels smooth, not gritty though. This looks awesome just by itself! Kind of like a bronzy glittery glow for my lips!! I am not a lipstick kind of girl anyways, so this is a great product for me! If you like peach smelling things, this product is so cheap, that you should just try it already!! I like the packaging because it's in the classic chapstick tube, which makes it easy to apply. On the other hand, the scent isn't the best (you gotta really love peach to get this) and if you apply it too much it leaves a white residue on your lips. This is a soft lip balm with nice texture and an incredibly appealing peach-almond smell. It's not very nourishing, so the properties of the treatment as a balm are quite low. It has a white-creamy colour, which I personally really like. However, the way it looks on the lips is not too flattering. It stays in each crease and somehow makes lips feel rough and scratchy.

  • Tarte 24/7 Lip Sheer SPF 15
    10.0

Tarte 24/7 Lip Sheer SPF 15

TARTE 24/7 LIP SHEER SPF 15

This is great for everyday wear or if you're like me and do not like how unnatural lipstick can look and hate the stickiness of lip gloss. It's very pigmented so it justifies the higher price of what looks like regular tinted chapstick. It does a great job in adding color to my lips without feeling cakey and thick. I received many compliments from it and it's probably the only thing that doesn't overpower my full lips. If you don't like the matte look, it looks GREAT with a thin layer of clear gloss over. I have this in Saturday, and I love it. It is much more pigmented than I expected, and I like that it has an SPF 15 rating. I wear it over Burt's Bees lip balm that also has SPF to keep it from drying out my lips. My "Thursday" is in the slightly re-invented packaging, which is basically still the same functionality, but a prettier, updated look. I'd call it more of a lip stain, with some slip and a slight sheen, if that doesn't sound too contradictory. "Thursday" is a perfectly pleasant, sheer rose, daytime shade, with just a hint of subtle shimmer, that I feel I can wear in my clinical profession. One that I can also carry and conveniently slip into my scrubs pocket without having any major difficulties. It's all that I need for a dressed, yet conservative look. In addition, the mint fragrance/flavor is subtle and 'true', without tasting nor smelling like gum or Junior Mints, or anything weird. Labeled as being paraben free, sulfate free, mineral oil free, propylene glycol free, and synthetic fragrance free. A tiny amount goes a long way. The only drawback is that you have to be a little careful how you apply it, because it can deposit quite a layer of color, depending upon the shade. For me, "Friday" is slightly more dressy-a deeper berry, that is flattering and fun. I like the mint oil, the texture is inoffensive, and the color lasts about as well as can be expected. Didn't have an issue with so-called 'castor oil' residue, either. Color can be layered, with a brush, or not. I like the convenience, simplicity and flexibility of this product-and the price isn't too ridiculously stonking, which is a comfort.

  • Murad Energizing Pomegranate Lip Protector SPF 15
    10.0

Murad Energizing Pomegranate Lip Protector SPF 15

MURAD ENERGIZING POMEGRANATE LIP PROTECTOR SPF 15

I got this and tried it and it was fine. My daughter has had problems with sore lips and even had cream from the doctors, which didn't resolve her problems long term. She has taken this off me now and she uses it every day and she hasn't had any more sore lips. She thinks it's great and so do I. It also has an SFP which many lip creams do not have! I love this product. Although it is rather pricey, there is a LOT of product, and no matter how much I use it, the package looks full! (I've had it for 4 months now and have been applying every day.) Although people are saying that it looks like petroleum jelly on your lips, it really doesn't. You only need to put a thin layer of this on your lips and the glossiness stays on for around 2 hours. This isn't like MAC lipglass where the gloss is incredibly shiny and shimmery. This is very sheer and after the gloss is gone, it leaves your lips very moisturized and with a pink tint! I love this Murad product to DEATH. I highly recommend it. :) You won't regret! It is more of a gloss than a balm as it is very shiny and pretty. Gives my lips a light pinkish sheen. It is not at all lasting, even for a lip gloss - that suprised me actually. The taste is great and I love the fact it has an SPF in it so this will be great for spring and summer. It is pretty tacky and sticky. It just doesn't do a whole bunch. It doesn't moisturize any better than an actual lip gloss, nor does it treat chapped lips like a lip treatment should. Your lips need to be in perfect shape in order for this to look decent on. Packaging is cute and it has an angled tip. It has a pretty sheen to it and smells nice, but is a bit sticky.

  • Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil
    10.0

Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil

BURT'S BEES REPLENISHING LIP BALM WITH POMEGRANATE OIL

My new lip balm addiction is Burt's Bees Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil. I've been going through a tube a week, and it's starting to get expensive ~ I love the scent, and the feel on my lips. I live in a warm weather climate, so I cannot comment on whether this will help with chapped, dry lips, but it works well to keep my lips hydrated. I've been wearing this under my lipstick, and I mix it with my other favorite, discontinued lip balm, L'oreal HIP Jelly Balm. Last but not least, a tube of this lip balm fell on the floor, and I caught my little poodle eating a tube. She wouldn't let me take it away from her, and she looked happy and was licking her lips. Now, every time I use this lip balm, she climbs all over me trying to kiss me. I can't even front, I am completely insane for this lip balm! I feel like I can't live without it. It's serious the best I've ever tried. I've been through, like, 12 tubes of this stuff, if not more! Most other chapsticks give me a weird taste in my mouth or are waxy, or don't moisturize well enough... but this is extremely moisturizing, has no taste to me, and I happen to love the smell. I know some people don't, but I find it fruity and refreshing, not bothersome at all. And I'm kind of sensitive to scent usually, but I've never found this unpleasant. And it has the slightest tint, barely perceptible on my pigmented lips, but it's just enough to brighten up my face without looking like I'm wearing anything. And if I wear it to bed, I wake up the next morning with smooth, soft lips. I buy this in bulk for a reason! My new favorite click stick for lip care! It goes on smooth, feels good, and doesn't contain ingredients that I dislike on my lips, such as camphor or menthol. It's one of the few in the BB line that has that tint, though the tint is so faint that it looks completely clear when I try to swatch it on my arm. It does have a kind of waxy feeling so if you don't like that then I def dont suggest this balm. I like it WAY better than EOS (which I own as well, but mainly for the cute packaging). This balm keeps my lips hydrated for the LONGEST TIME. it makes lipstick/gloss application much smoother but I wouldn't say it really fills in the lines on my lips all that well. I love the pomegranate smell and the fact that it lasts forever. A staple! kind of pricey I think but i prefer this over chapstick so I'm willing to shell out the 6 bucks.

  • Dr. Hauschka Lip Care Stick
    10.0

    Dr. Hauschka Lip Care Stick

    DR. HAUSCHKA LIP CARE STICK

Amazing product once you get used to it. The very first time I used this lip care stick, my lips started peeling and it felt horrible. I thought I'd wasted a bunch of money on something that I was never go to use again. However. I took it up again a couple days later only to discover that once my lips had gotten rid of the current dead skin, this little stick is great at keeping my lips moist and happy. Now I use it everyday! I also found it lasted a long time on my lips and I love how it makes my lips a bit glossy. Has a great smell and my lips never get dry anymore. Presently, it is definetely challenging my favourite, the Weleda Everon lip balm for the first place. This is one of the best, moisturising lip balms in a stick I have ever tried. What I really love about this is that it leaves your lips shiny, almost like a clear gloss, but without the sticky feeling. I have been using the Weleda Everon lip balm for years, and I like its waxy texture. This one is just as moisturising and nourishing, but has a less waxy and more oily texture. I am all about natural products, so the smell is not bothering me, even though I admit it is definately herb-ish. But it has no taste, so you dont have to worry about that. If you live in warmer areas, you might want to know that this lip balm melts easier than the Weleda, due to its different texture. I live in the north, so nothing ever melts here, but I suppose it could be an issue for some. I prefer sticks over pots for hygenic, practical and economic reasons, so to get a super-nourishing lip balm in a stick that is natural AND leaves lips glossy is GREAT! Would definately repurchase! This is simply the best lip softener/protecting agent I have found. And believe me, the winters are super dry and cold here. I use either alone at anytime (but especially bedtime) for a very sheer, satiny, but not glossy cover or over my long-wearing (not very natural) Revlon Colorstay Sheer lipcolor or Besame...or anything, really. Either way, my lips stay soft and smooth--way better than Chapstick or regular glosses. Considering how much lip color I ingest, this product makes me feel a bit better in terms of being organic/natural. Here is to soft, unchapped, lips! HG for lips! I have dry, cracking lips in the winter thanks to a lot of indoor time and taking Accutane earlier in life. This lip balm does more than moisturize and soothe; it also repairs lips. It is amazing what a difference it makes compared to other balms. It is expensive but worth the price if you have a severe dry lip situation like I do.

  • Avon Dew Kiss Lip Dew
    10.0

    Avon Dew Kiss Lip Dew

    AVON DEW KISS LIP DEW

I've been using this stuff for over 20 years. I use it when I'm not wearing my C. O. Bigelow lip balm. It's so cheap, but it feels like some high-end brands. I wish Avon never changed the label. It does slide off, but I'll just deal with it. The regular price is $. 99, but sometimes it goes on sale. It does a great job with moisture. The smell brings back memories of my childhood when my mom was selling Avon. There's no telling how many tubes I went through over the years of time, but I will keep purchasing this for the rest of my life. I love it! I absolutely love this chapstick. I am not a fan of Avon, but this c/s I always have to have. Provides moisture to my lips, and I love the smell. I have been using this for years, and at first, it was the packaging that I loved, but now its just everything. Provides that little hint of shine to my lips, and in the coldest winter months (NYC) it doesnt dry my lips out. And the price!!!! DIRT CHEAP!!! Def a staple. I love Dew Kiss and have been using it for years. It glides on smooth and is a wonderful lip moisturizer. The appearance in the case is a bubble gum pretty pink, but it does not change your lip color - just makes your lips look healthy and hydrated. I can't really detect a scent to it - maybe just a light scent. Been using this puppy for years! I love it! So moisturizing and it smells lovely. I use it under my lipsticks for added moisture. My grandma always used to buy me this when I was little and now I'm an Avon rep. I put it in my customer's orders as a freebie gift with purchase! Love this! The only Avon product I use. It's very moisturizing and I like the rose scent it has. It gives my lips a bit of a pink/rose tint, kinda similar to cherry chapstick but Dew Kiss is shinier and more moisturizing. I always have back-ups of these.

  • Avene Cold Cream Nourishing Lip Balm
    10.0

Avene Cold Cream Nourishing Lip Balm

AVENE LIP BALM WITH COLD CREAM

This is one fabulous lip treatment! Yes, it does leave a slight white sheen, which is usually enough for me to hate enough on a lip balm to throw it out. But I just cannot ignore how well it performs. My favourite lip balm is Weledas Everon, which smells nice (like honey) and doesn't leave a tint, BUT it's not nearly as effective as this one when my lips are all dry and flaky. I can pile this on dried-out lips before bed and wake up with lips that have magically HEALED overnight. And better yet, you don't need to reapply all the time, which is why I often forget how great it is. Really great for outdoor activities in cold weather as well, unlike those balms that are mainly petrolatum-based. This is my all-time favorite lip balm. I have never had anything as moisturizing as this! Sometimes I just apply it once a day and my lips will good for the day! Again, I'm a flight attendant so when I work my lips get crazy dry and I am always moisturizing my lips and this stuff is amazing! It is the best lip balm I really have ever tried! I've had this for a little over a year now and I am almost finished. It is a great product, I highly recommend this! Alright, so it's waaay too soon for me to write a review of this product...I just got a free one from the Glytone rep at work this morning, but I am already in love! It has a wonderful smell, shea butter-like, and is soooo soothing and creamy. I already have lipstick on, so I can't comment on the white cast. There is a slight shimmer to the product. I totally love this stuff. I don't know that I would ever have purchased it on my own, it's rather expensive for a lip balm, but I will definitely be using this a million times a day! I've most recently been using the EOS lip balm, which is tasty and fun to apply, but I lick it all off so it's not extremely moisturizing. This Lip balm with cold cream feels like a nice deep moisturizing creamy salve for lips. LOVE. This is an excellent lip balm, if a bit on the pricey side. As a fan of Avene's other products, I find this one to be of similar quality though not nearly as long lasting (for some reason I go through this particular lip balm more quickly than any other Avene item, even though I apply it no more often). I agree with the other reviewers in that it can leave a faint white film on the lips if applied more heavily, but this does not generally bother me, as I tend to only wear it at home. (This might be a consideration for those who wish to wear it under lipstick, however, as it might alter the color a bit). The texture is wonderful, very comfortable, with considerable staying power. I also don't mind the scent, which reminds me of baby lotion... all in all, worth repurchasing if my budget allows.
