A long before a liquid hand soap by the Bath and Body Works or the Body Shop, this hand soap was the great smelling andmoisturizing liquid soap for me. Several months ago when I got a Jergens Cherry-Almond moisturizer, I remembered about their hand soap version. I went to see a hand soap aisle, but could not find it. It seems to be not all the retailers carry this soap anymore. I finally found one. The package design was different, but the scent was still the same. It lathers and cleans well without drying the hands. Maybe because I grew up with this, I like this one more than Dial or Soft Soap liquid hand soap. It is hard to find this product, and i makes me wonder if it is going to be discontinued. The scent gives me a nostalgic feeling.

I have long, colored, dry, damaged hair, and I have tried a few different Garnier hair care products. Just like many other Garnier conditioners that I've tried, this conditioner has a wonderful fruity scent, which lingers on my hair lightly. This conditioner, together with the matching shampoo, does not actually repair or prevent my split ends and breakage completely, but I feel that I experienced LESS breakage. This conditioner is a bit too mild for me, and it is not very concentrated formula, therefore, while I was using this, I used an intensive hair treatment or hair mask once a week to tame my frizzy hair. The size of the bottle is very generous, and the price is hard to beat especially when they are on sale.

What I like the most about Garnier's shampoo and conditioner is their refreshing and clean fruity scent, but not heavily scented. This shampoo cleanses my long hair well, and I don't feel that it strips natural hair oils. If you like squeaky clean, this shampoo may be too mild for you. BTW, I don't see/feel that this shampoo along with the matching conditioner has actually repaired my damaged hair or split ends, but maybe less breakage. Even though their moisturizer is not intensive and rich enough, after using the conditioner my hair still feels soft, shiny and smooth. It is not the best shampoo I have ever used, but this line is easy to find at any drugstore/discount retailer, the price is excellent, and it comes in a nice size, therefore, I am happy with the results that this shampoo provides.

This Body Shop's mesh bath sponge is much more dense, has more layers, and lasts a lot longer than what I usually get from a mass-discount retailer. With this puff a shower gel lathers up well. I got this one for free when I purchased two Body Shop shower gel, so I cannot complain much about the price. I also like BBW's mesh sponge.

This top coat dries quickly for my nails, and gives my nail color extra shine and smooth finish. I still like the results from Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat better because it has proved to me more than several times that it has an ability to prolong the duration of my cheap nail colors. Also, the Sally Hansen one is cheaper and I can often get it on sale.

Aveeno Positively Radiant Skin Brightening Daily Scrub
No difference in skin brightening and evening out skin tone as claimed
This scrub was very creamy, and their beads were really micro and fine. Even though it must be coming from their natural ingredients, I did not like the smell of this product. Not fruity, not floral. The scent was not strong, but it was strange enough for me. This is a "soap-free, oil-free" product so why not fragrance-free? A good thing was that it did not dry out my skin (but I have oily and combination skin). The microbeads may be good for someone with sensitive skin, but they were too tiny for my skin. I need a scrub that actually exfoliates. Anyhow, in the end my uneven skin tone looked the same, and it did not brighten my skin either. If you want a gentle scrub for daily use, this is not too bad. But this was not for me.

The scent is like a vanilla extract blended with woody and earthy spices. It dries down to a nice warm and sensual musky sweet vanilla scent. It is nice, but the scent got a little boring for me after wearing it for consecutive days. In other words, it is not exciting enough for me to wear daily. Don't get me wrong, I love the dominant scent of this bottle, but when I want a vanilla scent, I would probably get a lighter version such as vanilla body mist/spray, which is much less expensive. The plaid bottle design of Brit is adorable and adds a distinctive accent on my vanity, but as for the fragrance, my favorite Burberry perfume is still Burberry Classic, which smells more sophisticated with depth for me, and overall their scent works better on my skin than Brit.

This candle was included in a L'Occitane lavender collection that I got. Just FYI, unlike the image shown here, my candle came in a glass, not a tin. Anyhow, I found that the best time and best place to use this candle. I light it while I am taking a bath using L'Occitane Lavender Foaming Bath! This candle further enlightens their soothing and relaxing lavender scent. When I take a bath, I usually use 2 or 3 same candles to maximize its fragrance. I own only one of these lavender candles, so I use just one. But this candle is strong enough to fill up our bathroom with a rich and natural lavender scent. The scent lasts pretty good, but I wish the fragrance lasted even longer and the size was bigger. If you love the scent of lavender, please try this.

I love these claw clips by Scunci. I have in brunette, black, and tortoise. It holds my hair and keeps in place for a long time, no sliding. Even when I have a bad hair day, it gives my hair an instant conservative look. It is so comfortable that sometimes I even forget that I wear one. A few times I leaned head back against a headrest, ouch, then, I realized that I had a claw clip on! It broke one time, but that was after years of using it. Another nice thing about them is that I can find easily, and fairly cheap!

This toothpaste had a cool and crisp minty flavor. It generated nice foam. My teeth felt clean after using it, and it refreshed my breath. The minty feeling in my mouth lasted a little bit longer than when I use regular toothpastes, but definitely not hours like they claim to be. Also, I didn't see that it made my teeth "extra" white. Actually I did not notice any difference in my teeth color before and after completing one whole tube.
