I have this in "Red Dahlia" and "Hibiscus"... What I do like very much about these is that they really do feel very natural on the lips... The first time I put one of these on, I really thought I was going to fall in love. Unlike the other reviewers, I actually like the fact that it's tinted very slightly, because I was going for a natural look, and the pigmentation was exactly what I expected. But I found that when I was reapplying it throughout the day, it kind of started looking chunky on my lips... I don't know how to explain it... It's like when I was very young and had tried "Nivea" balm for the first time... I liked it so much that I couldn't stop putting it on my lips every five minutes, and I would spend a good 30 seconds applying it... So I always had to wipe of the excess around the corners of my mouth, which (oddly) still didn't stop me from using it constantly... Anyway, this is how I felt with this one only after a couple of applications... I would put only a little bit on and I still had to kind of rub off the excess around my lips... Don't really know why that is, because I know nothing about the science behind it... If I were to try and explain it, I'd say that the oils and the colour in this formulation are not well "homogenized", if I can use that word in this context. As if they separate from each other after a while and the colour kind of stays on the outer edges of your lips... So that's really what stops me from loving it, and due to the fact that this balm cost around $7, I can't recommend it to anyone, because I believe that you can get better for that price...

Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil
Very moisturising and feels natural on the lips!
It just feels like you are doing something good for your lips when you have this lip balm on! It is very moisturising and looks completely natural on your lips. This doesn't have any shine, but more of a silky sheen to it. There is a hint of colour on your lips after you have applied it, but it's so slight that it will suite anyone... I mean no matter what complexion you have, this balm will work for you... It kind of just enhances the natural colour on your lips, but you definitely don't need a mirror when you are putting this on. If you slightly go over the edge of your lips, it will be almost unnoticeable... It smells kind of like honey with chamomile and spices to me... Maybe with a tiny little bit of cinnamon, and on your lips - perfection! Your lips will thank you by looking super sexy and kissable. And YES! It is completely tasteless!!! Hurray!!! I find it so hard to find a treatment for your lips with a bit of colour but no taste, and this one has got it all in my opinion!!! It's a life saviour, plus, it looks very cute. Also, what I noticed about it is that it has a pretty long lasting power as well. When you pass your tongue over it, it kind of feels waxy, but it doesn't look or feel waxy at all. And none of it stays on your tongue after you've touched it, so it kind of feels almost water-proof. It's hard to explain, because there is no waxy feeling on your lips whatsoever. But even touching it with your finger 2 or 3 minutes after you have applied it, you will notice that your finger won't stick to it at all... So all of it remains on your lips for quite a long time... Don't know how they do it, but I found it kind of unusual and definitely beneficial. ;) Would highly recommend to all, unless you hate honey, of course... But then again, if you hated honey you probably wouldn't be reading "Burt's Bees" reviews, since they all have that little bit of honey flavour... So go for it - you'll love it!

These are so glossy!!! I mean you only need a little bit to get your lips SO noticed!!! I have this in 13 (Berry) and to be honest with you, I definitely don't use this every day, because it's just too much gloss for an everyday look. But when I am going for that "look at my lips" look, I know I can count on this one... The sparkles in this gloss are extremely fine... It kind of reminds me of my "YSL" gloss... I I were to compare these two, I would say that the "Estée Lauder" gloss doesn't smell as heavenly as the "YSL" one, but the gloss effect is very comparable. Also this lip gloss is just a tiny little bit too thick for my taste, but it still doesn't take away from the fact that it looks amazing on the lips. And another thing a do very much like about this gloss is that it's "squeeze tube" so you don't have to dip your brush in and out of it constantly. I don't know why so many high end brand make glosses and shine with brushes... Isn't that super unsanitary? Or maybe it's just me??? This confuses me so much... I mean we spend so much money on these products, and obviously we want to preserve them for as long as we can, right? So why would we want to contaminate them with somethink we eat or drink??? Anyway, the "Estée Lauder" gloss definitely wins lots of points for not having a brush... And when I said that the "YSL" gloss smells better, I didn't mean to say that this one smells bad... It still smells quite nice, kind of like a mixture of candy, coconuts and lipstick... I just find the scent a bit common and not very sophisticated in my opinion. But still, this gloss definitely does its job to perfection - the gloss is amazing, so their claim of "high gloss" is true. Would recommend this gloss to anyone who likes glossy, noticeable lips without too much sparkle on them... ;)

I'm so surprised at all the negative reviews... My experience with these is actually extremely positive. I have the "Nude Eyes" trio, and use at least one of these every day... I think that one of the reasons many people had bad experiences with these is that they see them and they think "NYX Jumbo Eye pencil"... These are nothing like the NYX pencils, and in my opinion are much better use as just eye liners... Since I love them so much, I'll tell you how I use them... I definitely don't use them as shadows or base for shadows... I put my eye shadow primer on, and right after, depending on the colour of the shadow I chose, I'll run one of these over my upper and lower lash line, as close to the lashes as I can manage. When I run them over my lower lash line, I practically run over my lower lashes, but very gently. And then I will smudge the upper line with an angled eye shadow brush. So my eye shadow always goes on after and I try not to touch the lines with the shadow. If they do get sort of powdered over, then I'll just take that same angled brush and run over that spot very gently, just to remove that little bit of shadow... And I swear, these just open up your eyes so much more, and they work great on my bottom lashes that way as well... Not only there is no harsh line underneath my eyes, but it also stays there all day long... These pencils are almost water-proof. Their lasting power is amazing. I wish I could include my before and after pictures in my review, but they really do make so much difference in the way my eyes look, and I also noticed that when I wear my make up that way, I hear more little comments like "Oh, you look nice today" from my boyfriend than I usually do, and that's always a good new for a girl.. So based on my experience with these pencils, I would definitely recommend them.

Maybelline New York Volum' Express The Mega Plush Mascara
Love it! Volume, intensity and definition...
This is a very good mascara for those who have long lashes. I use both, the regular and the water-proof kind, depending on the weather... I wouldn't recommend this brush to someone with short lashes because the brush is kind of "layered", so that the longer lashes get through the first layer of the brush and then the shorter ones get coated by the second layer. I don't know if I'm explaining this properly, but I think someone with shorter lashes should have a denser brush, because this could actually hurt them. But if you do have longer lashes and want some volume and definition without your lashes looking fake - this one's perfect!!! I use "Black" and "Blackest Brown" and love both of them equally. Normally I tend to use the "Blackest Brown" in the summer because it still makes your lashes more defined, but is just a little bit more soft than the regular black. So yes, I would definitely recommend this mascara, because I always find myself repurchasing it when I run out...

This has been my "HG" razor for the last two years. I know this might sound crazy to some people but I actually shave my legs every single day. And not because I love doing it so much, but because my hair does actually grow quite enough for my legs not to feel smooth in a 24 hour period. I've never waxed my legs... Maybe I should have, but somehow never got to it, so shaving every morning has been a part of my life pretty much forever. So enough about my morning routine and back to the razor. This razor is the best one I found so far. I usually lather myself with my body wash and shave my legs at the same time. Some other razors, claiming not needing the usage of shaving cream, have given me lots of problems when used this way. With "Venus Embrace" I've never, not even once nicked myself and yet it's very sharp and effective at removing hair, it has never dried my skin in any way, and never damaged it, so that my legs feel itchy after shaving. And it's elegant, small and flexible enough to work with all the grooves on our bodies - even if you have a small bump or a pimple near the area where you are shaving, it will go around it without nicking it. I do think that it's important to note that we are talking about "Venus Embrace" here and not the regular "Venus" kind. The regular "Venus" is more similar to many other brands available out there. You need to be very careful when you are shaving and I've not only nicked myself with those, but once literally shaved off a tiny piece of skin. Sorry about all the details, but it is true. ;( So definitely make sure that it says "Venus Embrace"! So as far as durability, I usually replace the blades about every 3 weeks. So considering the fact that I use it every single morning, I consider it pretty good. And I know these razors look like you do need shaving cream in order for them to glide on your skin and make it feel smooth afterwards, but believe me they don't! Not all razors need to look like "Schick Intuition" in order to provide silkiness and moisture. So if you need a good, effective easy to use, elegant, non-bulky razor, go for "Venus Embrace"! ;)

The only reason I'm not giving this brush 10 stars is because sometimes I wish that the bristles were just a tiny little bit more soft, because I have a very sensitive skin, and sometimes I need to remind myself to be just a bit more gentle when I use it. But it works so well, that it's very easy for me to get past this. Quality versus price for this product is amazing! I only paid $1.50, because I got it during their 50% off sale, and this is a brush I use every single day. I use this brush for my foundation, as I know many people do as well, but it can just as well be used for powder. The only thing I would say, if you are planning on using this brush for powder, give it a wash before you start using it because it will make it a bit more fluffy and just a tiny little bit softer. This will especially work well for those who use powder for heavy coverage because you could stipple your powder on with this brush. I personally use ELF's kabuki brush for powder because I powder very lightly. So yes, this brush is very good, it doesn't shed, it's firm enough to use for foundation, and it's actually pretty big - quite bigger than what it looks on pictures, so you definitely won't be disappointed. It's very dense with tons of bristles so it will blend and distribute to perfection whatever product you decide to use with it. Would definitely recommend to all - can't go wrong with this one! ;)

I'm obsessed with my eyebrows, and tried many different products and brands. This - for $3, is AMAZING! You just have to make sure that you pick the right colour. I would say, if you are blond, go for "Light" or "Medium". Only choose "Ash" if you are platinum blonde, otherwise it's too light and ashy. I own all four shades, my hair is "Ash Blonde", and I use both "Light" and "Medium", depending on the time of the day and the occasion. I know it sounds weird, but I found that using the "light" wax with the "medium" powder with the "light" wax works really well for me. I love the fact that the wax is already coloured and it's not too soft, like in some other brow kits. You can pretty much use the wax on its own, but the shadow will give your brows a bit more depth and definition. Can't go wrong with this product. I will keep repurchasing it as long as ELF keeps making it and I would definitely recommend it to all! ;)

I was very surprised by how much I liked this products... To be honest, I never thought I would end up using it a primer... I got this in #800. Unfortunately they don't mark the name of the colour on the tube and obviously I through out the packaging, so the number is the only thing that remained, identification wise, but it might be "Beige Blast". So the reason I was attracted to the colour is because it looked creamy and not too sparkly but yet had enough glow to possibly use it as a highlight under my brow. The first time I tried it, I actually applied it all over my lid, after seeing that it was pretty sheer, thinking that it would be a good over-all base for my eye shadow. But!!! At the end of the day I was so surprised that none of my shadows creased that I ended up using it every single day as an eye shadow primer. So the colour is pretty sheer. I can't say that it's translucent because the colour does transfer somewhat but very minimally. If you are planning to use it only as a primer, you would be safe with any colour you pick. The shade I have (#800) is perfect in my opinion as a highlight and a primer. It stays on all day, prevents your shadows from creasing and has a slightly drier than silky texture that is very easy to work with. The only con I have with this product is the I simply can't find it in stores anymore... And if makes me wonder if it's been discontinued... Too bad if it is, because I find it to be a very good product and would definitely recommend it to all... P.S. If you know of a place where I can get it in Canada (Montreal) please let me know... ;) I last purchased it in August of 2013, and haven't been able to find it anywhere since then...

I just read GigiSD's review on this and almost feel guilty that I wasn't fond of this powder, but I still have to remain honest and say that this didn't really work for me... I usually like most "Physicians Formula" products I try, and I love their "Mineral Wear" powder in "translucent" (the mosaic kind, not the "spotty" one), and I got this hoping that it will work just as well, but take care of some of my fine lines as well. I was very wrong... I'm in my mid thirties, but my skin is in pretty good condition... I can't say that I have a lot of wrinkles but I do have them, even though most of them are fine lines. So I don't know what type of skin I would need to have in order to like this, so I'm describing my skin type just to let your know that for my particular skin it didn't work, and in case yours is the same, hopefully this review will help you... My combination skin tone is somewhere between NC20-25 and NW 20-25, and I got this in "Translucent Light"... So here's the weird thing. When I swatched it with my fingure, the texture felt very light and it really did feel like it would look translucent on my skin, but when I apply it on my face, for some reason it looks very powdery. That's a very odd thing for me, because I always thought that powdery looking powders have to feel pretty thick and not finely milled. This one feels very thin and light, but just doesn't look like it on my face... So I can't say if the science behind this powder, in terms of wrinkle relaxation and things like that, makes sense because I just can't wear this long enough to find out. And because it looked so powdery on my face, I'm unfortunately not able to recommend this as a good product... I'm still giving this six stars because in general, I support a lot of "Physicians Formula" products. This is just one that I happen not to like but no brand is 100% perfect...
