This only reason I'm giving this mascara three stars is because I want to support a more natural product, and I usually like most of "Physicians Formula" products I try. However, I got this mascara because it was on sale, and the sales person recommended it to me as one of the best mascaras she tried, so I bought not one, but two of them! Greedy me! ;) I honestly didn't like anything about it. The brush has very thick rubber bristles and they don't really grab on to my lashes as all. I don't know if it's my lashes, but there is nothing particularly unusual about them. I have medium length, medium thickness lashes - nothing out of the ordinary. So because the brush can't really hold on to them, I find it very hard to transfer enough color on my lashes so that they look coated. And forget about lengthening them. I mean this mascara doesn't claim that it makes them longer - granted that. But, usually when you put a coat of mascara on, they still look a bit longer because they are so much more defined. The ends of our lashes (unless your are very black naturally) are usually a bit lighter because they get slightly lightened by the sun. So this mascara doesn't give any definition to my lashes because it's so hard to get enough color on them. And I personally think that when you get a mascara, it's got to have at least one of these two things going for it: color or length. In both cases, this gets thumbs down from me, so if you were to ask me, I would say "don't bother with it".

I got this in a few different colors but my favourite one so far is "Always Autumn". I use two coats and without the "Essie"'s "Good to go" it will last me for about a week. When I say a week, I mean no chipping at all, which is amazing considering the fact that I'm always using my hands, in and out of water, amongst other things. And I'm a little obsessed with my nails, so I usually redo them when I notice any kind of discolouration or chipping. So this is why I say a week. If I use a top coat ("Essie" in my case), it will last me a good 10-12 days with no chipping. So you definitely don't need a top coat to add shine, because it is shiny enough, but if you want it to last even longer - go for it. Another great thing I noticed about this nail polish is that it doesn't discolor my nails as much as some others, I must say, high end brands that are just as pigmented. This is a big plus for me!!! I've been using this polish for the last three week, and I see a very defined color demarcation on my nail when the polish is removed. And who doesn't like healthier nails, right? And last but not least, it's such a pleasure to apply. It's very thin in consistency, and yet the coverage is great. You could even get away with one coat - two just makes the color look so much richer. So the fact that it's not thick and gooey makes it a lot easier to apply. The brush is just a perfect firmness and thickness for you to be able to get a clean edge in no time. No cons for this nail polish at all. And the price, by the way! Practically half price of "OPI" or "Essie", for a nail polish made in France (has everyone noticed that???), which has less harsh chemicals than the ones we are used to using in North America... I guess it's clear enough that I would definitely recommend this to all. There is really not one bad thing to say about it - quite the opposite, I feel like I could go on forever, so I'll just stop here... ;)

I would compare this one to Bioderma, if anyone tried it. It's a very good makeup remover, your face feels very clean after you have used it, and it's non-irritating for those of us with sensitive skin. I usually use Bioderma as my non-creamy cleanser in the summer time, and Vichy (they creamy type) in the winter, but decided to try this one because it was on sale. To be honest with you, I don't see any difference between this and Bioderma performance wise, and the price for Vichy is a lot better (at least in Canada & the US). If you have combination or oily skin - this is a great option for a makup remover, especially in the summer because we don't really need all that extra moisture that sometimes comes with cream-based makup removers. Would definitely recommend this to all.

I can honestly say that this is one of the best hand creams I've ever used. Probably IS thee best. It just works SO well! Every little bit of dry spots I had on my hands were gone, and it felt so good on my hands that I kept wanting to put more and more, but had to stop myself because a little goes a long way and I wanted to make it last as well. Another amazing thing about this cream is the smell! It doesn't mell like any other cream I've used... I don't really know how to describe it well, but to me, it smells like creamy rose buds... Not full bloom roses, just very delicate slightly rosy scent with a note of creaminess to it. One of my friends actually commented on the scent. So definitely no cons for this one. I just wish so much that it wasn't so expensive... ;(. I managed to get it on sale once, and haven't been able to repurchase it since I finished it. But if you can afford it - definitely go for it!

I only use two brands to remove my makeup: Bioderma and Vichy. I tend to use Bioderma in the summer because it's so light... So back to Vichy! This makeup remover is great, especially when it gets colder and dryer outside. It has a creamy consistency, but it doesn't make your skin feel oily, which is great. The scent is very light and kind of creamy. It works very well, I really don't have any cons for this product. One of the best things about this makup remover and many other Vichy products is that it's paraben-free. Paraben usage is a lot more regulated in Europe, so a lot of American products contain more than one type of parabens, which is definitely not the case for this European made product. If you are looking for something non-drying and maybe need a little extra moisture for your skin, I would definitely recommend this.

I liked it a lot during summer. I have combination skin and my t-zone gets very oily when it's hot. So I found that this cream actually somehow regulated that, but when it got colder, I found that it wasn't moisturising enough. So I would definitely recommend it for those who live in warm climates or as a summer option for those of us who have to suffer through all the four seasons ;). When I was using it in the summer my skin felt amazing because it didn't irritate it in any way and the scent is very delicate, so it's very non-intrusive and works well under makeup.

I personally thing that a lot of St. Ives products are very much overlooked! Not only are a lot of their product environment friendly, but most don’t contain parabens and are made with 100% natural moisturisers. I found this particular lotion very moisturising. When I use it in the morning, right after I shower, the moisture is locked in all day, and if I touch my legs at the end of the day, they don’t feel dry at all. Considering the fact that my legs are extremely dry, especially in cold weather, I definitely give this a big plus. The scent is very delicate and non-irritating at all. It smells a lot like camomile. And I really don’t know how they make this lotion, but one of its most amazing qualities is that you can’t overmoisturise with it. No matter how much of it you put on, your skin just soaks in in and it never feels greasy or oily. And I really like the fact that I can put my clothes on right after I use this lotion. I’ve used a few high end moisturizers, and not only they weren’t as good ingredient-wise, but I had to wait forever for some of them to get absorbed enough, so I can start getting ready. So quality versus price for this product is very hard to beat. Another interesting thing I would add is that even though we have a few options in our bathroom, my boyfriend always goes for St. Ives. And he actually notices when we start running out of it and tells me that we’ll need more soon. I find that very interesting, because he’s not a very picky person, and he doesn’t use any facial moisturisers or anything like that; he just put St. Ives all over his body and face and he’s good to go… So this is really something that could be used by the entire family. I would definitely recommend this for anyone, and especially for someone on a budget, looking for a good moisturizer for the entire family.

I use "Light Blue" as my daily perfume, but reserve this for special occasions or very cold winter days. I have a very pale complexion and not many sweet perfumes work well with me. This is actually one of very few that I like very much. Although I do use very little on my wrists only. And contrary to some of the other reviewers, I find the scent very long lasting. I guess it depends on our body chemistry and is different for every one. A few of my friends have actually purchased this fragrance after smelling it on me, so it's definitely a plus. I would say that if you are someone who usually prefers light fragrances, but still want to have at least one or two that are just a tiny bit more pronounced, go for it!

I'm pretty sure that this perfume, as with all the others smells differently on everyone, but I love it and it's my "HG" of perfumes. I always have a backup, because I get them on sale from Costco, but would gladly pay full p rice every time I ran out of it. Almost every single time I wear it, someone will ask me what I'm wearing. I've been using it for a very long time and still my boyfriend always compliments this scent, which is always a good thing for us... :). For those who haven't tried it, it's definitely not a heavy or sweet scent. It's quite light, especially after about an hour of putting it on. It's fresh, just a bit citrusy and I would say a tiny bit woody. I wouldn't call it floral, but I've heard other people describe it that way. To me, floral is something that smells like a flower garden or a flower. This doesn't smell like any flower, but it might possibly have a floral note, in a sense that it's a very delicate and subtle scent. It's probably best for those of us with fair or pale skin, but could definitely work with darker skin tones as well, because it's buildable. I am very pale, so I use very little on my wrists and just touch the sides of my neck with whatever is left on my wrists. Love it!

I love it very much, just as much as the body lotion in the same scent. The scent is not overpowering and even though it is an "ETD" I find that the scent is pretty long lasting. So if you've tried the other "Rose Fresh" products and liked the scent then you'll definily love this ETD. For those who haven't tried this line yet, I would say that this rose scent has a slightly citrusy note to it. It's not sweet or bitter, just light and rosy with a hint of citrus.
