I like the intent of L'Oreal's "Miracle Blur," as it contains Opti-Blur Technology to make your complexion look flawless. And I love the fact that it contains an SPFof 30 for protection. But there are far too many silica- and oil-based ingredients to expect women to wear it over a moisturizer and possibly under foundation. It's far too heavy and I was very aware of it being on my skin. It did nothing to improve the look of my skin; I couldn't wait to wash it off! I was surprised at such a disappointing product from such a reputable company.

I believe in giving every nail polish company a try. Essie has a color for everyone--absolutely everyone! It is a rich formula, easy to apply, and resists chipping for a long time, especially when worn under a great topcoat. I love this polish!

The range of shades in which this lip liner is available is beautiful and varied. It smooths on my lips effortlessly, doesn't feather, and stays put throughout the day or night. For about $9.00, you can't go wrong

I love the fact that I can use this for sharp or thick pencils and the point comes out very well.

This is not my all-time favorite mascara, but I find myself purchasing it on a recurring basis. I like the fact that it thickens my lashes and leaves them lush and soft. Far too many don't do that except for Maybelline's "Full and Soft" and a few others. There is a problem with smudging, but if I have Revlon's or ELF's makeup remover tool with me, it's no problem. When I want lush lashes and know I'll be in humidity or around water, I reach for this waterproof version.

I'm really hard to please when it comes to primer. This is silky and lightweight. I'm not aware that it's on my skin, but my complexion is perfected. Great product!

Notes of coriander, tuberose, and opoponax are supposed to be "heady, seductive, sultry." It smells good on some women. On me, it smells sour and old.

Sephora boasts that this cream "contains a lipoaminoacid which supports natural collagen synthesis with flattering light-reflecting pigments and HydroSenn+TM, an ultra-moisturizing natural ingredient that is more effective than hyaluronic acid." I was anxious to break into my trial tube of this. The SPF is evident in the scent, although it is pleasant. I couldn't wait for something even better than hyaluronic acid (which includes an SPF factor!). However, this cream was too thick for my skin. It didn't absorb readily and did start to "pill" each day I used it. Perhaps it does life-transforming feats, but I couldn't get past a moisturizer over which I had a hard time using foundation. I won't be purchasing again.

I am sorry to read that so many women have had irritation issues with this night cream. RoC's "Multi-Correxion® 5 in 1 Eye Cream" has caused absolutely no problems for me, only pleasant and flattering results. My all-time favorite night cream so far (and this is out of hundreds) is Ole Henriksen's; as soon as I apply it, skin is more taut and firm. There is some tackiness, but not enough to make me let go of Ole's treasure. This is not quite the powerhouse Henriksen's is, but it softens, hydrates, improves the overall look of eye skin, and helps to smooth out fine wrinkles and lines. I am fortunate that I do not have dark circles, because this is meant to help them fade as well. I have had negative experiences with eye creams which were heavy in terms of oil, causing congestion under my eyes. No problem with RoC. Ingredients include Hexinol™ Technology, a blend of ingredients made to bring about the aforementioned results. I recognized some of the other emollients: Glycerin, dimethicone, shea butter, panthenol, and a surprise ingredient--Vitamin C! It also contains mica, which blurs light and makes your eyes look better immediately. I would purchase this again if I were not so addicted to Ole Henriksen's version.

On nights when I truly behave myself and practice what I learned in modeling school, I begin removing my makeup with Pond's Cold Cream or a similar product. Lipids bonds together; Pond's gets rid of heavy, waterproof eye makeup, the rest of my cosmetics, and all of the imbedded oil and grime of the day. Some nights, I will follow with a cleansing towelette by Neutrogena or Burt's Bees. One of my modeling school instructors reiterated that your pores can never be too clean, and I concur. Then I follow with cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer, you name it. There are evenings when I'm tired and I settle for a facial cleansing towelette alone. I do LOVE Neutrogena's--they remove everything so easily and gently. But I also love "Burt's Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes." A pack of thirty costs around $5.99 (you can normally find them on sale). While Neutrogena NEVER lets me down, I like the fact that these are nearly one hundred percent natural. The towelette itself is a comforting fabric. Ingredients include aloe vera juice, glycerin, green tea and cucumber extracts and soybean oil, for starters. I like the towelettes which contain white tea extract. They are oh-so-gentle to eyes (perfect for those with allergies and sensitive skin) but potent all the same--I have no problem removing eye primer, shadows, liner, waterproof mascara, mascara products, and the rest of my makeup. The scent is a natural herbal one. Sometimes I get some on my lips, but I don't have that repugnant, bitter taste that some towelettes leave behind. My skin is exquisitely clean and feels refreshed, as if I had just used a toner. Only one sheet is needed for thorough use. The problem is that I feel so fresh that I am tempted to skip the cleanser, toner, serum, moisturing part of my routine. Time has taught me not to do that. Clean skin is good skin. They BEAT that into me in modeling school!
