  • L'Oreal Paris HiP Studio Secrets Professional Color Presso

I've always been really happy with most of my L'Oréal products, I think they do a really good job at giving us prestige quality cosmetics at a lower price. But my gawd girls! The L'Oréal HIP Color Presso lip gloss was just not for me at all! If I had to sum it up in one word-- I'd say: awkward. The shape of the tube is really cumbersome and I accidentally popped the whole bottom piece off while attempting to take off the cap. This delivery system isn't exactly too user-friendly either. You have the option of using just one gloss, or combining them both which is a great idea but the lip applicator is just kinda strange with two holes. To add insult to injury, let's say you want to wear both shades-- good luck trying to squeeze it out of both chambers at the same time! This one has potential, but I think the packaging does these pretty glosses a disservice. Sorry!

  • Lancome Oscillation Mascara

LOVE IT. You press a button on the grip of the wand which activates the movement of the wand. The wand does not spin, it actually does all of the wiggle work for you and somewhat tickles as it vibrates. After one coat I was like whoa– these lashes are coated front, back, and side to side! There’s no need to wiggle or zig-zag like you normally would, Oscillation will do all the work for you, slowly comb through, and wah-lah! You may let out a giggle or two! This is arsenal worthy material here ladies.

  • bareMinerals 100% Natural Lipgloss

These babies taste like fresh glazed donuts (on the vanilla side) to me and since I’m on NutriSystem– believe me, it’s a welcome treat! I feel like my lips are super hydrated and these have the staying power and pigment of a liquid lipstick. I’m hard pressed to pick a favorite but I’d have to say that Pomegranate and Sugar Plum are high on my list.

  • bareMinerals SPF 30 Natural Sunscreen

I've been a fan of the shaker-brush sunscreen formulas for years, but I think Leslie hit the ball out of the park with this one. It's a substantial size, the shaker brush works well, and I think the colors are really perfect. I use light and it's just a translucent tint and looks great over my foundation or mattifies my skin when worn over just moisturizer. It's not meant to take the place of foundation, but it is a VERY subtle tint. This is very convenient and wonderfully easy to re-apply when out and about.

  • BareMinerals Faux Tan Body Sunless Tanner

Aside from spray self-tanners, this is my favorite self-tanner in a lotion form! I've used this for several years and think I've finally perfected the application. I use a small clean compact sponge to apply it to my elbows and the tops of my hands and feet very lightly and I have practically no issues with this baby! I love the color-guide in the formula, and once it develops on my pale skin it is totally believable. I get a bottle of this every summer and I'm never unhappy! I'm sad to hear not everyone likes it!

  • bareMinerals Hydrating Mineral Veil & Brighten Brush Bundle

Hydrating Mineral Veil leaves a candle-lit glow on my skin and the micro-water makes my skin feel so cool! You can feel the moisture when it hits the skin yet it's still a very finely milled powder. I'll wear this sometimes even without my foundation just to feel the sensation! The brush is even softer than the soft-focus brush.

  • Bare Escentuals RareMinerals Renew & Reveal Facial Cleanser

I LOVED this stuff! It's very innovative and super travel-friendly. You don't have to worry about your bottle of cleanser bursting open all over your wardrobe in your suitcase! It's simple and pure and I love that it's water-activated and that you're not paying for a bottle of mostly water like most cleansers. My skin feels soft and smooth after using, it's fab!

This seriously smells like authentic chocolate milk! I LOVE it! I agree with the previous reviewer, it does make a great bubble bath too!

  • Graham Webb Silk Repair Thermacore Therapy
    10.0

Graham Webb Silk Repair Thermacore Therapy

    Like a science experiment!

My deep-conditioning treatment this week was anything but the usual. On the chopping block was Graham Webb’s Silk Repair Advanced Therapy Treatment and at first look, it seems like a normal packet of deep conditioner. But this large sachet has two chambers that you tear open and mix in your hands and once those two formulas combine, they become creamy, frothy goodness through natural molecular activity. The result is a yummy foam you apply to wet hair and leave on for 3-5 minutes. Immediately I had more shine (one can never have enough), and my hair did actually feel silky. It’s kind of like gettin’ all Mr. Wizard in the shower! I would use this again, for sure.

  • Philip B. Peppermint and Avocado Volumizing & Clarifying Shampoo

I've come across some pretty decadent hair products in the past few years but I have to say I've been pretty wowed by Philip B. Ever since I got a new hairdo at Warren Tricomi, I've been using quite a bit of product because a fab cut has to be "done" you know? I haven't had a good old fashioned clarifying treatment since I can't remember when! I needed it, badly. Thank the heavens, in the beauty closet was a bottle of Philip B Peppermint & Avocado Volumizing & Clarifying Shampoo and I need both of those things in my life, so to kill two birds with one stone, it's a beautiful thing. Right off the bat, you can smell and feel the 2 point 3% peppermint oil and I LOVED it immediately. When my scalp tingles I'm happy because it's invigorating, not to mention cooling as it was only a smart 93 degrees here today. I did a quick massage with the shampoo and and felt revived, ready to take over the world. Okay, maybe not take over the world. But I felt pretty good! After, I followed up with the Light-Weight Deep Conditioning Crème Rinse. I haven't heard the term "cream rinse" since I was a little girl so I immediately thought of my Grandma telling me not to forget the cream rinse, but that's another story. It really was light weight and smelled fresh and was the perfect partner in crime to the Peppermint & Avocado Shampoo experience! My hair was extremely voluminous and incredibly shiny-- BEFORE putting in any product. So why spoil a good thing? I didn't put any in. And here I sit with shiny soft waves that smell fantastic. Often I worry about clarifying shampoos stripping my color, but no worries... I had no problem! If anything, it looks better because all of the product build-up is no longer dulling my shine.
