Tigi Bed Head Control Freak Frizz Control and Straightening Serum
tigi has better products for curly hair
i did not feel that this was effective in making my hair frizz free and shiny like i expect from other serums that i have used. i like the smell, but that's about it. a little dab wasn't enough, and a lot of product left my hair feeling weighted. my naturally curly hair needs some serious taming, and i find other products more effective.

i have made the switch from liquid foundation to mineral powder, so i don't really use pressed powders anymore, but i do like to keep a pressed compact in my purse since they are more convenient. this does live up to it's name. i found it to feel clean and light and non-irritating to my sensitive skin. my skin tends to be on the oily side and prone to breakouts and this takes away any shine without looking cakey. the applicator is so small and would really bug me if i used this every day, but then again i usually stick with my own brush applicators anyway. i do like this compact's tiny size, making it convenient to stick in a clutch when going out.

Neutrogena Gentle Oil-Free Liquid Eye Makeup Remover for Waterproof Mascara
gentle for contact lens wearers!
i can't believe that it took me so long to buy eye makeup remover. after spending years scrubbing away at my mascara with washcloths i tried neutrogena's product. i had just assumed that most eye makeup removers would irritate my eyes. this product is fabulous, because it is oil free, but non-drying. the mascara rubs away without scrubbing, and my skin is left feeling soft. it is so gentle that i can even use it with my contacts in my eyes!

first of all i have to say that i have used at least 5 different sprays similar to this concept, and i've found this is the best for a smooth, continuous spray. i still usually end up rubbing some areas in, though the application process is much cleaner than lotions and this dries much more quickly on my skin. the smell after it has dried is still yucky! i feel like my body smells musty. another beef i have with this is that my white bikini that i wore last summer has a yellow -orange tint to it around the hems, where the tanner rubbed off (that's after letting it dry folks and showering away the self-tanning grime). i've bought this since in a pinch to use on my legs, but i won't use it on my upper body because of the smell.

i like to use bronzers year round, but some leave me orangey or shimmery. this bronzer (applied lightly) looks great even in the dead of winter and adds a little warmth to my fair skin. the key is using a good brush and you'll have a soft glow in seconds. no damage. no waiting for your self tanner to develop it's color. i also like that the product feels good on my skin and doesn't leave my pores feeling clogged like self tanners can.

i have been using wet n wild nail color since jr. high! the same color-black-even before all of the prissy celebs decided that was the hip thing to do. they also make some fabulous shades of reds that i like to used on my toes. the polish formula is better than ever, with even coverage and with a top coat the wear isn't too shabby either. i've used all of the pricier brands of polish, but at a bargain price of about $2, i remain loyal to wet n wild and my color!

when i first spotted this line at the grocery store i thought it was just a lame tigi knock-off brand, but i ended up trying it when the line went on sale for $3 a pop. this deep conditioner is even better than the bedhead one i used to like, and the smell is delicious! it is rich and thick, and leaves my color-treated, heat-abused hair feeling hydrated and silky!

i bought this product for the first time about a month and a half ago, and have been so pleased with the results! my skin is very sensitive and prone to breakouts, and this leaves my skin feeling fresh, clean, and moisturized. i really like cleansers with a little scrub for exfoliation, and this does not feel harsh or abrasive. i only need a nickel sized drop for my whole face to feel clean and renewed. the scent is light and fresh and the scrub rinses clean without my face feeling filmy. i usually lean more towards all-natural products, but i have been completely satisfied with this purchase.

i love burts bees products, and have used the original lip balm for ages. i decided to try this one, but i did not like it as well. the smell is yummy and sweet, but i feel like the original leaves my lips feeling more smooth and moisturized.

i thought i'd try out a budget lip enhancing gloss, but i guess you get what you pay for! the gloss felt almost sticky on my lips, and it was difficult to get an application that looked even. (i have long hair and it even stuck to my lips when it got in my face...that does not happen with my other glosses.) the gloss tingled like most lip enhancers, but the goopiness on my lips was more noticeable than the plumping. overall the color was nice and neutral, but i would much rather wear a regular gloss that felt nice on my lips than a plumping gloss that gives then the texture of sticky gummy bears.
