i'm not really a lipstick person. i really prefer gloss, but sometimes i like a more defined look. i like the smooth , creamy feel of this on my lips. i found that it did have long coverage. i with that it had a better "taste."

i really found a shade that i loved, but it has a gummy, sticky feel on my lips. if i pair this with a good chapstick, then it feels much smoother on my lips. i do like that i'm getting sun protection, and the color looks even on my lips.

i have used both bare minerals and sheer cover, and was excited to see drugstore brands follow the mineral lead. this was very disappointing! first of all the applicator brush was kind of stiff (especially compared to bare minerals' kabuki brush)! the application with the brush was really messy, too! powder was everywhere. i ended up using my are minerals brush and lid to apply the powder. it did not cover evenly, and it rested on the surface of my skin looking powdery. it also did not wear well, as it wore off and looked spotty. i ended up giving it to a friend to see if she liked it better. all in all, you might save some $, but it's not worth it! save your $ for a better mineral product!

i have combination skin that is both oily and dry...frustrating! my skin is also really affected by my hormones and stress, so there are times when this is okay for breakouts, but if i tried to use this every day my skin would look red and have real dry patches. i tend to just keep this around for spot treatment in my t-zone. i think that is too dying for my whole face. if you have really oily skin all over this might work better for you. neutrogena does have toners that are less irritating than this astringent that i actually prefer.

better than the lotion, but not great.
this left my skin feeling greasy and after it dried it had a bad, sharp smell. the color was a golden bronze, but neutrogena's spray is better than this one, and i didn't like theirs much better!

Burt's Bees Healthy Healing Carrot Nutritive Body Lotion
an gentle, hydrating lotion with a unique scent!
this lotion is not very thick or creamy, but i feels so nourishing on my skin. i carried it with me last summer on vacation, and i even used it on my face (i had forgotten to my face lotion). i am prone to break outs and have sensitive skin, and this product did not feel at all greasy. even sun-abused skin felt gently moisturized. and the carrot scent? strangely delicious!

i used to use bare minerals, but have since switched to another mineral brand. i never liked this product, as even the smallest amount gave me a powdery look that i wasn't going for. i felt my skin looked just fine with the mineral foundation, and this wasn't necessary. i also felt that when i did use it my make up rested into the lines on my face more as the day when by. the powder doesn't feel heavy on skin, and i do have friends who love it and wear it well! i think that it just wasn't right for my coloring or complexion.

so many glosses leave my lips feeling sticky or goopy or have a weird taste. this gloss feels just as good as burts' chapsticks and provide a nice hint of color. i like the lighter shades better, and i found one that looks very similar to an aveda lipstick i used to buy. (only i can buy about 4 of these for the price of that lipstick!)

these were such a great deal i had to try them. my favorite stick was the yellow one, which reminds me of maple syrup. they apply smoothly and feel pleasant on the lips, but i do not feel that they moisturize as long as some of my favorite brands. i feel like i have to reapply quite frequently to stay moisturized. i shoved my tubes into pockets of coats to have as a back-up. not good enough coverage and lip protection to be my everyday lip balm stick!

when my stylist first introduced me to this product she blow dried and brushed out my naturally curly LONG hair. i thought she was crazy (and my hair looked pretty crazy, too, in a HUGE afro!) When it was dry she sprayed this product and flat ironed it with a GHD iron. it was like going from the bride of Frankenstein to jen aniston. wow! my hair looked glossy , shiny, smooth, and soft. from that day on i was sold, and now use this any time i straighten my hair. it's amazing!
