MAC's #217 is hands down the most versatile brush I own and a must in my makeup kit. If I had to pair down my kit to just 5 brushes, this would definitely be among them. It does everything! It can be used to apply a sheer wash to the entire lid, it can contour the crease, blends shadows together, apply your eye primer, highlight, apply strobe cream to special targeted areas, and apply concealer. It's excellent with both cream and powder products and can apply makeup either boldly or sheerly. And it's oh so nice and soft! I can't say enough about it. It's perfect.

I love these and like many MAC addicts, own several. Depending on the shade they can be really sparkly, frosty or just give a subtle glow. Some are good as bronzers, others are better as blushes or highlighters. I like the lighter ones that I can dust all over on top of my foundation with a light hand to give my skin a subtle "lit up" look. The MAC 187 brush is really helpful to get these to go on nice and sheer. The end effect is really lovely and polished. My only complaints are that most of these (and until recently, all of them) are limited edition and tend to sell out quickly so if you're not on top of MAC's releases they'll likely pass you by! They're also pretty pricey as MAC keeps raising the prices on them. Fortunately though, there's a good amount of product in them and can last you for a very long time so the cost isn't as painful as it could be. Also, because of their baked dome shape these can be on the fragile side. I've been lucky not to break any of mine, but I've seen some shatter in store and it's not pretty!

Like most of MAC's offerings, their blushes stand out in terms of quality and variety offered. They offer a wide range of very wearable shades, both bold and subtle, sheer or pigmented. I own over a dozen and would definitely buy more. They last a long time too which helps make the price tag seem more affordable. They come in different finishes too so people who like a little glow with their blush can have it while girls who prefer something more matte can have that too! The Sheertone Shimmer finish is my favorite as it has a light pearl to it without being too aggressive and if applied with a light hand can look beautifully natural. Love it!

I've been a MAC devotee for years and have purchased at least 100 of their eyeshadows over time. They have a level of quality and variety that few other brands can match. They come in a variety of gorgeous colors and finishes, both bold and subtle, so there's something for everyone. When used over a good eye shadow base, they can easily last for longer than 12 hours which is great for me. My only complaint is that some finishes are much better in terms of pigmentation, texture, blendability, etc. Their Veluxe Pearls are the cream of the crop in terms of buttery texture and dramatic pigmentation, but their lustre finish can be difficult to work with. The velvet finish can be tricky to work with too, and while most of their matte and frosts and pretty good in terms of quality every now and then they'll release one that's a pain to work with. Still, there are far more hits from this line than misses so I'm always eager to see what they release with new collections!

This is a great eye shadow base. You only need a bit and it helps your eyeshadow last all day long! I like that it rubs into the skin well, becoming almost invisible so that it doesn't mess with the color of your shadow or make the lids of darker ladies look ashy. My only real qualm with this product is the packaging. It's adorable to look at, but the opaque material that it's made of makes it impossible to tell how much product you have left, or where in the bottle you ought to scrape to get the last bits of primer. The shape of the bottle doesn't help the cause of using every last bit either, so every time I throw a bottle of primer out I fret over how much I might be wasting. I'd like this product much better if it came in a squeeze tube or a pot.

I love this stuff. It's not quite as moisturizing as I had hoped the first time I tried it as I still feel like I need to apply body creams to stay really moisturized, especially during the winter. But I keep buying it, because every time I try switching to something else, I get disappointed by the absence of what I truly love about this product: rich, foamy lather! It seems to produce bigger and silkier lather than any other body wash I've ever tried. It makes using this feel like a decadent treat that I really miss when I try another brand.

I love the way matte lips look, but so often they apply less smoothly than other finishes because they're of a drier consistency AND can feel dry and uncomfortable on. But not with these! These pencils really do feel like Velvet. The glide on so smoothly and feel soft on your lips. They're of a creamier consistency than most matte items I've tried, but it doesn't show much. The more forgiving texture doesn't compromise the matte finish. Or the wear. Matte lipsticks typically stay on longer than other types of lipstick and this one is no different. My only real complaint is that the color selection for these is rather limited! I'd love it if they added more shades.

I've been using this product every day since it came out and I absolutely love it. It's a light lotion that sinks in easily and doesn't make me break out or feel all greasy. I'm not sure that it dramatically increases the wear of my foundation, but it does improve the look of my skin, so much so that I know I've started using less foundation since using it both because I feel I need it less and because it makes my liquid foundation work more "efficiently". It makes my skin look softer and more even. For this reason, I even use it on days where I skip foundation. The high SPF in this is really great too. I went to Disney World last August and wore this in lieu of a traditional sunscreen on my face and I didn't get a sunburn (or tan) all week long. That's quite a feat considering I was sweating profusely and that I'm fairly pale and prone to burning. Most sunscreens irritate my face, causing my skin to itch, burn or flush, but I can't feel this on at all after application. Great product! I'll keep buying it for as long as MAC makes it!

When it comes to ease in application, nothing beats the quick work you can do with a good pencil. But with the ease, usually comes smudging as most pencil liners are not up to the task of performing all day long without meltdowns. Not so with these pencils! They apply and wear like a gel liner but they're built into a pencil lending much convenience. After these set, your eyeliner is nearly smudgeproof and can survive most says with only a bit of smudging. I have some issues with it underneath my eye after 6-8 hours, but I have oily skin so I expect that. I love these to pieces and own several. My only real wish is that they're further expand the color line. There are already some good brights, but I'd also like some darker shades (like a midnight blue, forest green etc.) too.

I've been a Pied de Pepper devotee for several years now now. This is perhaps my favorite lush product. It makes my feet so nice and smooth, but it's the scent that really glues me to it. I'm mad about sweet-n-spicy smells and this one is just heaven to me. I'd love to smell like Pied de Pepper all over. It smells good enough to eat. My only complaint is that it's a bit messy. The cream is brown and stains my socks and sheets when I'm putting it on or don't rub it in all the way. It washes out, so it's not that big of a deal though.
