I have shied away from "pot" concealers for quite some time; they are often too dry and difficult to blend. However, this product completely left me amazed and awestruck! I saw this product on a tutorial on You Tube and really wanted to try it. For the longest time, I wanted to check out Erase Paste but couldn't bring myself to fork over $20+ for a small jar of concealer. In the tutorial, it was mentioned that this product is a close second so I thought for half the price, why not? I bought this in Ivory and it was a perfect match. The concealer immediately struck me as THE creamiest I have ever tried in a pot or jar. I was stunned - I used it to cover not only dark undereye circles but also dark spots and a pimple on my face. It melted into my skin and when I applied foundation over it, it blended flawlessly. I do use setting powder over it, but I do with all of my concealers and there is no creasing. I would absolutely buy this product again and would encourage others to do as well!

I saw a You Tube review on this product from one of my favorite beauty bloggers, so I decided to give it a try. I don't think that primers are necessarily well, necessary. LOL However, this one wasn't too bad. I have pretty decent skin to begin with but I do have large pores around my nose and cheeks. I have used the NYX Pore Filler and the Maybelline Pore Eraser primer, and honestly, the Garnier worked just as well as the others but at a much higher price point IMO. This tube runs about $16 which is about twice as much as I would want to pay for a primer, but on the plus side, it comes in a fairly large tube and carries 1 oz. of product. The product is a pale pink and has a whippy, mousse texture which is quite comfortable on the skin! The texture very much reminds me of NYX Pore Filler but lighter and airier. I probably wouldn't purchase this again since I can find something just as effective for less, but this is a good primer so if you are looking to try it, I don't think you will be disappointed! (Note: I was actually really surprised with the negative reviews on this product. Other than the price point, I thought this product was highly effective at smoothing my pores and skin, making my makeup easier to apply. If I didn't have large pores, I actually wouldn't use a primer but this helps to fill them in.)

According to the picture on this site, this serum used to be in a different package than what it is now - a tube. I always, always purchase eye products ONLY that come in a tube because once the ingredients hit the air, forget it; it immediately loses its effectiveness. I have been using this serum in combination with Cerave Eye Repair Cream to combat some dryness that I have been experiencing and I am very satisfied. I would say that the serum isn't what I would consider moisturizing; my skin is oily, but I would still need an actual eye cream for the undereye area as the serum just isn't enough for me. I also find that I have to use more than what I expected. Perhaps it was because I was trying to get it to moisturize the area more than what the product is even capable of. I see this product as an "add on" to an already great eye cream; something that will work in conjunction and will provide the skin with ingredients it needs but not something that will necessarily create an immediate benefit. It's sort of like giving your skin vitamins; you may not see an immediate improvement, but with consistency you know you will see results and if you stopped using it, you would see that, too.

Like many others, I also received A Different Grape in a Fall gift with purchase. First, let me say, I don't love lipsticks to begin with so I am INCREDIBLY picky about the texture, the pigmentation and the finish of the color. This is a very pretty Fall color that would work best with medium to darker skin tones; however, I do think some fair skintones can pull this off. Back to the product itself, I would describe the finish as satin - almost a semi-matte; not quite moisturizing enough for me and not enough shine. I am also not crazy about the packaging; I have been using Clinique for over 20 years; however, the packaging for their products is often reminiscent to me of make-up for older women and I wish they would gear some products or lines to the under 40 crowd. I know it probably isn't fair, but IMO packaging is so important as far as drawing the eye to the product. It makes me WANT to try something, or maybe not. Anyway, it is a decent lipstick but as far as lipsticks go, I have tried others in a much better price range that I have liked as much or even better. I also thought the pigmentation was somewhat lacking, especially for such a deep color so this product is also somewhat sheer.

This is the absolute best top coat! It is at a great middle of the road price point at around $4 and leaves my manicure looking fresh and shiny even into week 2! I apply it every weekend to extend my mani and pedi. I can actually extend my pedi to 8 weeks without a chip in sight. I have tried higher price point top coats (Essie - unimpressed) and lower priced top coats (WNW - nice!) but this is just the best, hands down. My mom even loves it and she is incredibly picky and spends much more on polish than I do. It is not sticky and has just the right consistency and dries fairly quickly. There is no shedding from the brush and can even be used as a clear polish on bare nails. Super versatile. If you haven't bought this yet, don't finish reading and run to the store! :)

I have no issue with the NYC Polishes, this this top coat is just the worst! It lasts maybe a day or two, then flakes right off. I literally sat there peeling it off in sheets on my nails; it was just driving me crazy! It is a complete waste of money. I have to agree with another reviewer; you may as well not even have a top coat! If you are desperate and only need a manicure for a day, then maybe, but there are just so many other options I would give this a giant pass.

I was hesitant to buy this product due to the price! At around $25 a bottle, it seemed too pricey for a drugstore, and I still think it is; however, it just plain works! I purchased this in the SPF 50 version and the texture is perfect for someone with oily or combo skin; it just absorbs so well into the skin without feeling too heavy or leaving my skin greasy. It allows me to apply makeup flawlessly over the top of this product. It just makes my skin glow. I will probably purchase this product with a coupon next time ($25 still seems high for a DS product!) but have no qualms about recommending this to others or purchasing for myself in the future. It took me a bit to discover the best way to apply this product; I would first apply a few pumps into my hands and basically rub it all over my face. LOL But it didn't seem to matter how many pumps I used, it seemed like it was never enough to cover my face with enough product. After trial and error, for me, it worked best to apply it similar to foundation; putting a dot on both cheeks, forehead, chin, etc. and then rubbing in. When I apply the product that way, I can use a lot less which makes my $25 stretch even farther!

I have been using the NYX Pore Filler and the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser, and both work well. I received a sample of this to review and was disappointed in comparison. First, the price is higher than I think it should be, especially for not being a product that "wow-ed" me. The product is flesh tone, similar to NYX Pore Filler in that regard, but applying it over my pores (mainly t-zone area) did very little to fill them in and smooth my skin. I liked that it didn't have a detectable fragrance, but the claims on the package that it will "shrink pore size in 1 month" is just fictitious and not true in the least. Similar to cellulite, there is no REAL way to shrink pores or erase them altogether. The key is prevention (AKA oil control as excessive oil is what causes the pores to expand in an effort to contain the oil), and unfortunately, I like so many others, I just have to deal as best as possible so I try looking for really good primers and foundations that won't settle into pores and keeping my pores refined and as clear as possible, and of course, removing that makeup every night! :)

UPDATE 11/11/14: I recently re-visited this product, again in Nymphette, and discovered that the "6" rating is exactly what I would still give this product today. There is nothing "glass-like" about this lipgloss; it is on the stickier side which is both good and bad. I prefer a slick, wet and shiny gloss, even if it means I have to re-apply every hour (or even less). This gloss will last longer, as a result of the stickier texture, but I find that I still re-apply since I can't get used to the texture of the product. Nymphette is a pretty pink color with gold shimmer/glitter. I don't care too much for the glitter as it can end up everywhere; to my surprise, I touch my mouth more than I realized! LOL MAC makes good products, but so do drugstore brands. I think MAC"s biggest selling point is the variety of color that is available, but especially for a gloss, there are so many other options available.......... This product is sticky, pricey and comes in a very small tube. I LOVE Nymphette, but recently came across 2 brands that carry almost identical color. One of them was Aveda which was only $18 and TWICE as much gloss. I will have to try Aveda's version after I have finished the MAC gloss. In addition, I ran across a similar color at a drugstore for only $6! I know it isn't just the color, but the stickiness is not appealing.

This is a nice product, but I wouldn't pay this much for it as it is basically a pigmented lip balm. I received this in Chunky Cherry which is a pretty Spring color. It has decent moisture and decent pigmentation; much better than recent crayon/pencil balms I have tried as of late (and I have tried a lot!). I would put Clinique at the top of the spectrum as the best quality (yet most expensive price) that I have tried, so if you are looking for a product like this, this would be the brand I would recommend. For me, I just think these balms don't have as much moisture as I normally like in a balm and I prefer a balm to be more moisture than pigmentation, so for me it is a no go.
