When I first started filling in my brows I bought this. Spiked matches well with my eyebrow color, no issues with smearing or running and no irritation to my skin. I love Mac and would buy this again but a cheaper alternative is define a brow by Maybelline it's a fraction of the price. For SURE my HG eyebrow pencil. My eyebrows used to be in a pretty bad shape (.....literally speaking) because I went pluck mad. Learnt my lesson, but in the meantime this was my saviour. It fills in smoothly, is easy to control and doesn't go on 'heavy' (although this can be done if you don't have a light hand). I love how it's self-sharpening, really useful not having all the fuss. ONE thing - it doesn't last long, especially if you use it to fill in most of your brows. Because mine have grown back I only use it to create longer brows, filling in the ends because the hairs are quite fine and I like them somewhat thick at the start but end thin. Another thing is that sometimes the twisty part comes off but you can simply slide it back on - just a bit annoying. Totally recommended, smooth application and matches my eyebrow colour to a T. So happy with MAC!! Yet again. I have only two complaints about this brow pencil. I have black brows, but we all know using an actual black pencil is just not generally a good idea. I try to opt for a greyish dark brown. This one is just a little too reddish brown. I'd prefer a slightly more grey tone, but this still works if I use a light hand and blend well with an angled liner brush. Secondly, I wish the pencil would roll back down into the tube so I could estimate how much I have left, but it only works one way. Apart from that, this is a great product for brows, I like the consistency, stays put (no odd smearing, even with my oily skin), and I appreciate any pencil that I use daily that doesn't require sharpening. I LOVE this little pencil. This has become my holy grail brow product!!! i have dark brown hair and dark eyebrows and Stud matches my eybrows perfectly. The narrowness of this pencil allows me get precisely stroke on tiny brow hairs where i might have some patches from a tweezing gone wrong. I LOVE everything about this except the price which imo could be a little lower, but i'll keep buying this because it is perfection. Simply amazing. This pencil doesn't smudge, doesn't fade and lasts me a few months of use! I have sparse eyebrows and I find that just a few whisks of this bad boy makes my eyebrows look perfectly manicured. Prior to finding this little gem I was using drugstore brands and was embarassed more than once to find out that half my eyebrow was missing... Mortified I searched for an alternative and have never looked back since. This particular shade is great if you color your hair black like me as its a very dark brown and looks more natural than a full out black pencil. Thanks MAC, you never disapoint.

At first i didn't like the color on me but that was when i had burgundy hair. Now that im my natural strawberry blonde i really like it & would repurchase if it wasn't so expensive. I have to wear a primer with this or it doesn't seem to last all day on my lids, such a shame. But im still going to give it high marks because its easy to put on, nice color & a little goes a long way. I've had it about a week or so and am on the fence. The positive is it definitely last a long time (absolutely all day). It goes on fairly easy, and light. Maybe it's just the color, or the fact that it dries so fast, it's hard to blend with other colors. You can put other powders on top. I noticed when I do, the powders wear away by the end of the day, but this base cream coat hangs in there for the long haul. Maybe it feels a little too unnatural for me, I don't know. I may try a different color and see if that changes things. With the right color, it would definitely be a good fit for humid days, or exposure to the elements, etc. I bought this at the same time as buying Burnished from Sephora. (Very thrilling that Sephora carries BB now!) Anyway, this is a neutral, pale base color with a large amount of gold shimmer and sparkle to it. I will not repurchase as I think it makes my eyelids look wrinkled. However, it is a fine base. Sandy Gold is a better base than Burnished as it does not alter the tone of my powder e/s as much as Burnished. i use this as my e/s color base. its very sheer, will not gives me scary e/s if i'm wearing smokey eyes. i use this after MAC prep+prime, then apply the e/s. i found after 2 hrs it will crease so badly on my eyelid. compare to MAC pp, these more expensive and you get lesser product, but compare to quality (what i mean here is the staying power)? i will choose MAC PP.

I have the Rimmel pencils in Tiramisu and Addiction. I wrote a raving review for addiction, but I have to say after trying this...this is so much better for me! Others call it a warm caramel, I call it a slight rustish, with a smigeon of brown color. It looks so natural for me....better than the addiction which has more brown in it. It all depends upon your coloring and natural lip coloring. I have brown hair, hazel eyes, lip color is a pale pink/wine, and this looks stunning. I have 3 of them now so I can always find one no matter where I am! I was considering buying a clinique lip liner as my friend had one and she loves it. I also spend a lot of money on expensive make-up but something was just telling me not to spend on a lip-liner !! ... So i had a look at trusty rimmel and i found this lip liner, It's an AMAZING price and an AMAZING product, You can't go wrong with the warm caramel colour as well ! :) - Very happy. This is an amazing product! I rarely buy things more than once, but this is one I have bought multiple times. It's a great price, but more importantly it's a great product. I would describe it as a natural caramel shade. Some describe it as also having pink in it, but for me it's more caramel/peach...which is what I like. I used to wear this every single day, but I now alternate it with Mac Stripdown which is similar in colour. This has a more moisturizing feel than Stripdown and the only drawback is that it doesn't last as long as Stripdown. It's a little more slippery. It mixes really nicely with all my lipsticks and glosses. The only other con is that when I travel with this the cap tends to crack, but it could just be the array of mess my make-up bag is in. This is a great pencil! My Clarins nude auto pencil ran out and I got caught short, so I had to buy this at short notice. I am so glad I did because at a fraction of the price of Clarins, it is just as good! The colour goes with so many different shades of lipstick and it draws a great line with no effort. One of my pet peeves is when lipliners dont draw a strong line and you really have to tug at them. You only have to gently touch your lip line to get a great colour. Fabulous product! I don't wear nude lips very often but was looking for something in a nude range and i think this color would fit the bill for most people. This is beigy brownish nude color. I have semipigmented lips and its barely shows up as light beigy color which by itself makes me look ill. I do wear it occasionally with paler nude colors and pinks and quality is pretty good-its on the drier side so it doesn't slide right off your lips. However, color itself is not my favorite-its too beige and pale for my coloring and pigmented pink lips. I do see it being a staple for ladies with unpigmented lips and warm coloring so I'm willing to give it high rating since I like the quality, just not the color.

These are great drugstore lip-liners, but they come with such little product for their price. I have two: 'Natural' and 'Eastend Snob'. The formula is smooth and they don't drag on my lips as you apply them. It feels creamy, but drying if you wear them with nothing else on top. The consistency is very soft its so prone to breaking when you apply it (which is why you don't need to press very hard when using them). Very pigmented and has decent wear. I like the packaging too - the tip is slanted so it makes for easier application and having a twist applicator makes it easy for lazy people like me who hate sharpening pencils! 'Natural' is a brown-toned pink that's perfect for nude lip colours and 'Eastend Snob' is a dusty pink shade that would be great for everyday wear. Overall, I would consider repurchasing, but wished they had a larger shade selection. Love this lipliner! I have finally found what I had been looking for in a nude shade that lasts. East End Snob & Natural are the ones I use. Disappointed that they have redesigned it . Now it's on a slant and breaks off so easy when applying! What a waste since I find that these lipliners don't last long to begin with. But, I can't find these 2 great liners anywhere and until I do, I'll stick to these ones. I have this liner in 024 Red Diva, and while it is the best liner I've ever used, I do find that sometimes it's so creamy that it cakes along the outer rim of the lips. That can be a bit aggravating because the color is so stark that smearing it during clean up can stain your skin. Another thing that I noticed is that these liners don't have a tendency to last too awfully long, especially for the price. I believe at Walmart they retail at almost 6 dollars which I'd say is reasonable for their creaminess and high pigmentation, but it's probably the creaminess that contributes to the fast life of this product. They don't skip, drag, or otherwise cause any trouble. It's also nice to have an "automatic" pencil like this as you don't have to worry about having a sharpener to fit it and can always retract the pencil should you get a little more liner than you'd like. This also keeps the liner from being too much of a mess since that liners you sharpen tend to crumble off. You could get away with wearing one of these with just some gloss as an all-over lip color. They're perfectly pigmented on their own. I'd probably purchase this one again, but the caking is kind of aggravating when you're working with a red so bright. This is the best lipliner ever!! I have it in Eastend Snob and Addiction. Love the shades and the formulation. The packaging is amazing too! The end is nice and tapered like the packaging and it applies super easily. The formula is thick and creamy but feels light on the lips. Staying power is really good. The color is well represented in the packaging and the look of the liner. I use these as an all-over lipcolor and it doesn't show dryness like most lipliners do. If you apply a gloss/lipbalm over these to add some shine/glossiness I would recommend letting them "dry/set" for a few minutes beforehand. I think this helps the color not come off when applying another product over top of the liner. Love these so much!!

This is just the PERFECT, and I mean the most perfect lipliner shade. On me, it looks like a mixture of brown with a pink/mauve undertone. I actually prefer this over Mac's Beurre which has a plum undertone..so now I've tossed beurre and using this one everyday. Goes with every possible lip color you can think of: lilac, pink, brown, and even red. Versatile, great quality, stays on fairy well and superb price. Currently have 10 back ups and might need to go purchase more! I used to LOVE MK makeup but not so much their lipsticks. (I loved their shadows before they changed them, also) But even though, the lipsticks weren't for me (too shiney in a strange way) I love this lip liner in dusty pink. It is so neutral it works with so many shades of lip colors I use. I typically go for shades of pink, mauve, rose and some reds. I use it with all but the reds. It also lasts a long time, too. A HG item for me. This review is for the new version of the Mary Kay Lipliners: First off I should say I have never ever found a colour that suits my lips better than Mary Kay's "Dusty Pink". It literally works with EVERY lipstick that suits my complexion, even lighter ones - while "Dusty Pink" isn't really a light colour. The cumbersome things about the old lipliner was how flimsy the thing was (the caps break easily), and how grainy the colour applied. Today I got my hands on the new and improved version of the Signature lipliner (through Ebay), and I'm impressed. It seems a lot sturdier, is a lot shorter (yet contains the same amount) and therefore easier to carry around, and the colour is a lot creamier, and applies without tugging. Thumbs up for this improvement, I'm all for it - and of course I'm happy they discontinued my trusted "Dusty Pink". Great liner. I've been using Mac-Spice forever now but i don't know if the new versions got darker or my lips got lighter but it seems too dark for me now. I always end up having to blend extra and it nevers ends up right. This is a perfect color for my lips.(I would've never tried it if it wasn't for MUA members) As mentioned before it doesn't have much pink in it at all. I would describe it as flesh tone. And if you're familiar with MAC Spice, this color is about two notches lighter than that. Must buy! and at this price, who can resist?

I don't generally like to fuss with lipliner - trying to get the right color to go with your lips or the color seems too much of a hassle. However - for bright lipsticks and dark lipsticks it is useful to have a lipliner to keep the product on the lips and not bleed and feather out. Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliners are a favorite of mine, thought it would be a safe bet to try their lip liners. Ozone is a great clear lip liner - I can line and fill my lips with it as a base before applying a bright red or coral or deep plum lipstick to keep it where I've applied it. Helps lipstick last longer and avoid feathering into the fine lines and creases around the mouth. It's fantastic as a base for lipstick/lipgloss! It does make my lipstick more long wearing even after I eat. I also line my lips with it to prevent feathering (it works!). I love the fact that it's clear so it goes with any lipstick/lipgloss, I don't have to buy any other lipliners. But, I find that it's a bit drying AND it runs out very quick. I don't think I would repurchase because I'm going to try out MAC Prep+Prime Lip Primer next; it's cheaper! I love this liner because it is truly clear, without a whitish or waxy look to it. I can use it underneath all my lippies to keep them from bleeding and to give them lasting power. I've even just used it under gloss to make it stick better. Definite thumbs up for this product, I will repurchase whenever I run out. It did work, however, after wearing it for a day I took off my makeup that night and noticed my lips were burning and felt like they were covered in wax or glue and this continued for a week and a half after using it only once. I have sensitive skin although I've never had an adverse reaction to any lip product so be sure to do a skin test if you have sensitive skin. I bought this on a complete whim. It was my first time at Sephora and I convinced myself that I needed this lipliner. So I bought this and the Urban Decay Grindhouse sharpener. To be honest I felt that this was a waste of money for me, it didn't seem to make my lipstick or tinted lip balms stay on any longer. The colour that goes on when I have this lipliner on and when I don't is different. When using this lipliner before lipstick it makes the colour more true to what is in the tube (I have fairly pigmented lips). It goes on smoothly and doesn't dry out my lips. To be honest, I won't repurchase because I don't think it's an essential item. I love the Urban Decay Grindhouse sharpener though and would definitely repurchase and recommend that. Urban Decay's new 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in Ozone is basically a CLEAR lip liner. I have tried other so-called clear lip pencils that professed to stop feathering and bleeding of lip products and I have never been satisfied with them -- until now!! This thing is fabulous! The real test for me was lining my lips with Ozone and then using a MAC Lipglass, without any other (colored) liner. I had not even a hint of my lipglass going outside the boundary I created with the Ozone pencil! The only downside I see to this product (and I still couldn't bring myself to deduct a lippie because of it) is the fact that I can see myself running through this pencil pretty quickly. I have no issues sharpening the pencil, nor do I with the 24/7 eye pencils. I do think that the formula, which creates a very soft pencil, also facilitates it wearing down more quickly. Still, I am truly pleased and amazed with this winner!

I have had this lipliner for years and I always go back to it. I haven't found another lipliner yet that is the exact color of my lips. This defines my lips without getting the obvious line and matches just about every lipstick I own. Definately YLBB and I would purchase again but sadly enough it's been discontinued and replaced by a new line op lip pencils. I still have a fair bit so I am still good for now, but I'll be sad once it's gone! Bought it based on the reviews on MUA and because I can`t resist talks about new perfect YLBB NUDE lipliner. So far I like it. Many other so-called nude pencils were frankly yellowish-beige on me. Sometimes that goes on OK, but sometimes it`s annoying cause it is against the true lip colour. This is my experience in nude liners (in comparison with Shiseido one): Clarins Nude - is nice, creamy (more creamy), yellowish - beige (absolutely no tink of pink!) Other "yellowish-beige shades" I have tried in hope to find smthing nude - Revlon Spice, Beyu 522, Body Shop Beach. Rimmel Addiction 018 - very close match (the tone), not yellowish!!!! just a bit lighter than Shiseido and the staying power is worse. Still I like Rimmel because it`s cheap. And don`t like it cause it`s automatic. Mary Kay Neutral - less pinky, more brownish. The same degree of colour intensity. But again - don`t like it`s automatic and the quality is worse. Isa Dora Nude (it`s the name, like Chanel:) - the colour is pinkish-greyish, but on me it turns more greish and of rather unpleasant shade. Chanel Nude - don`t own it, have tried it in a shop. Can`t understand WHO EVER can call this bronze-brown colour "Nude"?? Was it a joke? So, to total it down: Up to the moment Shiseido is really a staple. The only grudge is the price. Which is steep. For the rest - I recommend it and would buy again IF won`t find smthing even more ideal. For those who think it`s still too expensive - Rimmel is a very good option. You can throw away all your other "nude" lipliners. This one works on almost everyone. Especially us ppp girls when all others show up too orange or brown. This one is the perfect pinky light neutral brown. I use it with EVERYTHING including my fave San Fran Cargo lip gloss for a really natural sexy lip. bad thing: I also have trouble with the cap staying on. Seems like it's too big for the pencil.

Got this as a "deluxe sample" with my Sephora points. I love it just below my brows to emphasize the arch and I also use it on the inner rim of the lower lash line. I had always read that this color on the inner lower rime will brighten the whites of your eyes...BINGO! Great product! I love this pencil - the only problem is that I can't find many sharpeners that fit the big tip. Luckily, I picked up one at Sally Beauty Supply. Anyway, this pencil adds light without shimmer - perfect for days when you want subtle highlighting. Yes, I would buy again. I was using Stila's Topaz Kajahl pencil, a fleshy-peachy shade to erase the purple-blue veins and darkness on my eyelids and basically make them look better without much makeup. Great idea, but not the ideal product. Enter Anastasia's Matte Apricot, a soft, fleshy peach. Not only it's the perfect shade to even out my lids and highlight brow arches, it turns into powder as it hits the skin and doesn't smudge off like Stila's. Is $21 too much to pay for rested, luminous eyes in a pencil? I don't think so.

I have these in a variety of colors -- Honey, Pink, Terracotta and another one.. I had not even looked at them for awhile until this morning when I decided to clean up one of my MU drawers.. and Whoa! I had not even opened the Bronze one and tried it on over my BB No. Bronzer.. it picked up the color of my skin, made my cheekbones stick out and made the Red Thing hair blend in beautifully. I found love in a drawer and have placed these in my most used makeup box... as I will be using this all the time. I do not like glimmer -- but this just gives me a subtle glow. For the price, they are well worth it and beat out the BB shimmer blocks! I like it. I use it all over my face for an overall shimmer sometimes. Does not add a lot of color. Just a nice shimmer. I also use it as eye makeup and it goes on very pretty. I thought this would show up darker but that's ok because I like how it is sheer and makes me look luminous when I have those days when I want to brighten my face. I must start off by saying I purchased Bahama Bronze w/ the intent of using it as an eyeshadow palette - and it is amazing!! The colors all have a soft texture, amazing pigmentation, and superb lasting power! They're also extremely easy to blend. I would highly recommend this Shimmer Stripe if you're planning to use it as an eyeshadow palette, or possibly a bronzer - it really is that pigmented. It comes in a clear lucite flip top case, convenient for color identification when it's jumbled w/ your other cosmetics. And best of all, it's super cheap - at most you will spend under $7 for it. For the price, the Milani shimmer stripes can't be beat! The Bahama Bronze set has darker browns and bronzes and no pink shades. I'm NW20 with light brown hair and green eyes for reference. Moving into the winter, I'm not using the shimmer stripe as a true bronzer but I love the individual colors as eyeshadows. The pigmentation and texture are fabulous, I can't wait to try some of the other shimmer stripes.

I love most of the Reflects Glitters I have and Antique Gold is no exception. I recently tried this for the first time, and have to say without a doubt, this is going to instantly slide into the top 3 of "reflects glitters' for me. Antique Gold is perfectly named. As the name indicates, this is definitely an "Antique" gold .. it's a dirty sort of rustic gold, more brown than yellow, but not dark. Just adds a very sparkly and quite stunning pop to eyes. Most of these need to be used with the mixing medium for better adherence and this definitely works better with that. The sparkle on this is stunning, and unlike the regular MAC glitters, this is more finely milled. So while it definitely still has that "bling" factor, it's not quite as loud as the regular MAC glitters. I paired this with a deep purple/wine crease shade and the finished look was quite striking! Definitely one of the best "reflects" glitters MAC has released. SO glad I picked this one up! Love this product. I'd bought ages ago and used with the eyeline mixer medium but didn't really like the effect. Then spoke to a FANTASTIC SA on the MAC counter in Belfast and she suggested using Painterly paint pot as a base and applying the glitter with a firm brush dampened down with Fix+. Did a trial run of this, with NARS Mekong on the crease and under the lower lashline and LOVED it. There was very limited fallout and absolutely no creasing. I bought this beautiful glitter from my local Cosmetics Company Outlet for $16. It is in the original 7. 5g jar instead of new smaller jars. This is a very finely milled dirty gold glitter that is excellent for spicing up a boring neutral look. It adds just the right amount of sparkle that is sophisticated and lovely. I like to pat this on top of my black winged liner for more pizzazz. On nights out with the bf and the girls, I use this wet all over my eyelids for a huge wow factor. This is a wonderful product, definitely check your CCO to see if you can still get your hands on the larger jar. I believe this is a permanent or pro product from MAC that you can buy at any time. I don't normally write reviews for eyeshadow/glitter as I find many are the same but I have to make an exception for 'Reflects Antique Gold.' This color is a beautiful brown gold that looks like diamonds on the lid. Of all the eye looks I have ever done, this one gets me the most compliments from women. I just use MAC Paint Pot Constructivist on the lid then pat this with my finger on top. It's the most spectacular look. Pairing with just about any colored liner works nicely, too. I sometimes use blue, green, plum, black or brown. They all work well. I have used this as a casual-wear daily sort of look at times when I just want to feel pretty. One of my favorite products MAC makes, hands down. Plus, that jar lasts a lifetime it seems! Would buy again many times over.
