I cannot believe I have not reviewed these before. I adore them, so I assumed I had reviewed them. I'm NW10 (cool-toned PPP), and they work really well for me. They give a soft radiant look on my skin. One thing I love about these balls is that it is hard to over use them. I tend to over apply loose powders (I prefer loose powders to pressed -- I get a better effect with them). T. LeClerc Loose Powder and Mythic balls are my holy grails. With the Meteorites, I don't over apply (usually -- unless I start playing with them and then overuse them). The older I get, the more important NOT over applying product is IMHO. It's no wonder it's such a classic. It's so pretty to look at, and it gives a nice subtle glow to my skin. I don't wear it often, but I do like to break it out if I'm feeling like my skin is a little dull or whatever. I absolutely adore the scent, and the packaging is just so chic. There is no criticism I could give to this product, it's just awesome. This powder comes in little balls in different colors and you can take out balls to adjust to the shade you need. I'm really pale but have a red undertone I don't like so I took out all of the pink ones and added a few of the other colors in a cute little container and gave that to my mom who needed more pink in her complexion. I use the Ecotools travel kabuki and apply to my entire face. I usually don't use anything else on my skin but on the days I do use a foundation I put the meteorites first, wait about 10 minutes so it can melt into my skin, then apply my makeup over it. I find that this method looks more natural than applying it on top and I think it might be due to it being able to melt into your skin instead of having a barrier between it and your skin. I don't know if people who use liquid foundation would have the same effect applying it that way. At first it's not really noticeable but after about an hour after applying it starts to look like your skin is "glowing" in a good way like ethereal. Be prepared to get a lot of compliments. After years of buying knock-offs of this product (ie the Physician's Forumla palette, Neutrogena Healthy Blend) and loving them, I finally decided to invest in the real deal. Meteorites are very, very different from other multicolor-blend powders I have tried: for one, they provide light, sheer coverage whereas my imposters had a more obvious effect on my complexion - this was suprising to me after my first application. However, the highlighting effect of the Mythic Meteorites is unsurpassed by anything I have tried - it takes a lot of work to overdo the shimmer, so you basically always get a sheer, natural-looking glow. I agree with the previous review which said that Meteorites don't make much difference in indoor light - but once you step into the sun, the effect is pretty incredible. I swirl a stippling brush in the box and then apply the powder to the top of my cheeks & nose. If I want even more glow, I use a dab of MAC cream color base, which looks much more believable after I have used the Meteorites as a first step. It is also useful in contouring and playing up the contrasts between different areas of the face. For now I am only giving four lippies because the glitter in this product can make pores look bigger from up close. Also, while the powder doesn't go on chalky it does seem to be slightly drying. Maybe I am being a little stingy, but if the drugstore products don't dry my skin I don't see why this should. It is true that the packaging is just cardboard, but is the most beautifully decorated cardboard ever and it isn't flimsy. The fragrance doesn't linger after you apply the powder even though it is quite strong. Overall, this is truly a luxurious product and certainly worth a try if you love highlighters and subtle make-up.

I strayed away from this and came back because i realize it was the only mineral foundation that was natural and glowing without the sheen sparkly look. I got this is warm sienna i'm an Nc42. I have used BE before and started getting allergic and itchy..that was when my quest for mineral foundation started. Jane iredale is the best!!! I have used liquid foundation such as Estee lauder double wear in shell beige, diorskin in sand 031 (a tad too light), Mac pro-long wear (looks like a mask), Bobbi brown long lasting foundation in honey (Too orange and slip off my t-zone). I recommend this mineral foundation to anyone who wants glowing skin without the mask-like look. I began using this product in the spring. I was experiencing oily T-zone & moderate breakouts with my Prescriptives that I had been using for years. Tried BE but hated how it made my pores seem even larger. A friend whom I had always admired how her makeup looked told me about JI & convinced our local hair salon into selling it. I am soooo glad!! This is HG for me. Does not make my skin feel oily, my pores do not look large, my skin appears smoother & has quit breaking out! (except for maybe 1 or 2 during that time of the month) I use the TM first, then the AB & finish with the Pom Mist! Love it!! I apply this with the "Handy" Jane Iredale brush using small to medium circles. Amazing base came with a complimentary POMMISST Hydration Spray which smells great and somehow makes my skin feel like I'm wearing no makeup at all. I have light, freckly skin and I use the color bisque which counteracts with my pink undertones. So happy to have found this :) My one and only complaint is that for the price of all the Jane Iredale products you'd think the packaging would be nicer! The big revelation for me was that once it was on I felt clean and bare faced but looked soft and healthy! The application with the loose is tricky, you need to have the proper brush and you almost have to pat it on in downward strokes but once you get the hang of it, you can layer it to get the coverage you want. It never looks dry and I have very dry, mature skin. I invested in the D2O Hydration Spray that the salon recommended to use once the makeup is applied, to 'set' it and it does, you just spray your face damp and then pat any spots that need evening out with your fingertip. This makeup line is very expensive but since you don't use much I think it will last a long time. I'm undecided about buying it again, purely because of the cost, I may try other loose mineral makeup that's available out there to compare but that said, it is a lovely looking makeup that makes your skin look wonderful and healthy and you don't feel like you're wearing makeup, that's a big plus for me!

Got this is Rose Astrale and Vin Celeste at the Lancome outlet store. They have a 4 for $40 deal, so these were $10 each. I've been using and loving both colors. The Rose color is a very natural pink and the Vin is good for a red lip. For long-lasting lip color I prefer stains over anything else, as the texture is light and not irritating. I agree that the pen tips are a little sharp, but I like to use lip stain pens on their side anyway to get even fast coverage. If the outlet has more of these when I go back next Time, I'll definately buy more. However lipstain pens can last a really long time. I've had my Sephora lipstain pens for 3 years, using them every other day and they're still in great shape. Found this at a Lancome outlet and I really like how it looks on---just blushing natural. I chose the rose, the Vin seemed too dark. I use the tip to outline my lips and the the pen part held flat to fill in. I use a lipliner all the time anyway, it helps make my lips look fuller. I like this cause it's not shiny. At my age, I'll leave the high gloss stuff to the youngsters. I plan on getting another as soon as I have another trip in that direction. I saw a blurb about this felt tipped lip marker in a magazine and had to have it b/c it specifically noted that unlike other felt tipped pens, it did not need to be stored upside down and would not dry out. B/C I have always heard this about these types of products, I had never tried one before. Anyways, the Lancome counter I went to only had it in one color "Rose Astrale" (I think there's supposed to be two colors, but apparently this was the only one they got in). Anyways, it is a pretty rosy pink, though it's slightly bright for my taste. Fortunately, the brightness disipates after about 15 minutes, so I would definitely wear this color on its own. I have decided it looks best though, as a base. In the month that I've had it, it has not dried out at all and I don't store it upside down, yet it works fine, so I guess it's living up to its claims. The bottom line is that I like it, but I would really love it if I had it in a softer color. I think I like this lipstain. Available in 2 shades, Vin Celeste, which is not rin the least a wine-y color, and Rose Astrale, a pretty YLBB pink shade for me. The Vin Celeste was rather light I think, and would probably only work on those with the very fairest complexions, but it is a pretty color. I chose the Rose Astrale. PROS: I liked the color, which made me look pretty & healthy but not really made up. This has a nice fruity (mango?) scent as well. I brushed this onto my lips, let it set, and then smooched my DH, and the color did not kiss off on him. CONS: The pen contains less than 2cc of product & retails for $18.50. Secondly, it's very hard--impossible---to tell how much product you have left. Third is the very limited shade choices, although I suspect my wallet was happy that there were only 2 shades and only 1 shade would work for me. I am not sure if I would repurchase this since there are similar products to be had at lower prices, Mark's Kissink---with 4 colors to choose from and only $6.50 each.

This is the lip product I've been I've spent years looking for! The color is great, and so is the texture and finish. Not only is the mauve shade a great match for my natural lip color--the feel and appearance of the stain are also very natural. I can wear it without that "there's something on my lips" feeling. The texture certainly isn't sticky or waxy. And unlike matte lipsticks I've tried, the matte finish doesn't suck the moisture out of my lips. And the shape of the product makes it a sinch to apply. Yes, it's ridiculously overpriced. But it had the exact qualities I'd been search for, so I bought it anyway. In short, this is the first lip color that I may wear everyday, and not just at special occasions. Just be warned, this will definitely not work well with flaky lips. Ever since I got it I have been wearing it everyday with everything. I apply it straight to my dry lips first by lining and then by filling in. It goes on slick and has a minty smell and feel, but then it seems to freeze and dry, a similar effect that the Revlon ColorStay lipsticks have, but you can still move it around a little bit so it is less drying. And then it wears for a few hours, which I think it impressive. An hour later and it is still there. Two hours later and just a bit has worn off. Three hours later and there is still pigment - I could touch up if I felt like but don't have to. You get the picture. I'm going to look into other colors and see if I have a few more color options. I bought this because I read the Kat Dennings wears this shade in 2 Broke Girls, and since I have the same coloring as she does I thought it would look nice. And I was right. The color is this really pretty mauve-y plum color. It goes on really smooth and has a subtle mint feel/taste to it. I have very pale skin (NC15-NC20) and this really darkens them up without making me look dead. I will definitely repurchase and look at some other choices as well. I really like this lip stain. I purchased mine from a popular cosmetic store in a 3 pack kit. It was a good deal because the kit had a special price and then I used an additional 20% off coupon so it was worth it. The color is a neutral on me but a little better. I like it for my minimal makeup look as I normally prefer super duper glossy glosses. This Envy stick is easy to apply and makes for a great "keep in your pocket" lip touch up. I love anything Tarte makes, so I was excited to try this product. I loooooove lip stains, and am always on the search for the perfect one. This one is really different. Most stains are either a liquid, or a marker type, but this one is a chubby crayon. It goes on very smooth, and boy does it stay put! A few things wrong, though: The color Envy looked gorgeous in the store. When I put it on this morning, it looked like a very, very light nude. I'm a color gal, so this won't work for me! I gave it to my partner, and it turned a gorgeous coppery brown on her. Brat! I did buy it in another color, Fiery, and I got my color fix. It's a very bright red. I wish it came in deeper colors. The other drawback is the packaging. The top is super difficult to remove. Although it's a bit pricey, I do like the velvety matte finish, and would purchase the red again. I got this in a boxed set from Sephora last summer and I really love it! I definitely want more colors because, as the reviewer before me stated, this one is a bit more natural. I would repurchase it though. It's perfect for those days when I really feel like I need something on my lips, but I don't want them to look overdone. It's also great for days that I don't have time to reapply, like at school or work. I really love how this stays on for hours and leaves a nice color even when the glossiness fades. It's very moisturizing and feels incredible on the lips. The smell is also amazing! It's somewhere between sweet mint and vanilla. I just can't say enough good things about these. Even if this shade isn't for you, you should really try at least one shade from this line! Looks pretty on, but it's a lot lighter than I thought it would be when I swatched it on my hand in the store. I know the skin on my hand is lighter than the color of my lips, but based on what I sampled, I was expecting a more pigmented nude/beige/browny color, and it turns out a very sheer, light, beige-y peach. Not a bad color once it's layered up, though I must say it takes a LOT of painting on. I do love the way it feels --rich, creamy, glossy. And the smell and flavor are pleasing as always. I won't repurchase this because the color is so light, but I will try a couple of the matte shades, even though I know they can be drying. I am still searching for the perfect color in this Tarte line. Love the concept and the benefits of these products. Bottom line: if you like sheer/light/barely there color, try this one. If you want real color, keep shopping.

We went into BBW because I wanted him to smell Moonlight Path. Sadly he didn't like it. I was looking around at other stuff and he took me to the Secret Wonderland and said I HAD to buy it. Which by the way is the first time he has ever told me I HAD to buy anything lol. I absolutely love it and received many compliments from coworkers and customers (and I work in a grooming shop- so if people can smell it over the scent of dirty dogs then its not weak) Its sweet and smells almost magical :) I still really love Moonlight Path too. I was hesitant on buying the EDT for this scent, simply because of the higher price tag. ;) But I'm so glad that I finally did it! I spray the EDT on pulse points (behind my ears, on my wrists, and between the girls) at 9 AM, and I still get a delicious whiff of strawberries at 5 PM when I'm coming home! Secret Wonderland is definitely an uplifting scent! Helps one deal with stuck-at-work-blues! :) I noticed that the dry-down is a bit powdery on my skin, but overall very fruity. I was attracted to the lighter scent and enjoyed the lotion and body wash. My last visit the BBW I decided to try the perfume and WOW I was so delighted how well it smelled on my skin. I generally go for the strong scents like Black Amethyst and Dark Kiss but it's so nice to finally find a lighter scent at BBW that I enjoy for those relaxing days. I came into BBW on a whim hoping to find something so I took home three fragrances, PS I love you, Butterfly Flower and Secret Wonderland. After wearing the three on numerous occasions the only one he ever complimented me on how good I smelled was the Secret Wonderland. I thought it might be too sweet for him but he loves it! I'm hooked! I've been liking this scent so much in the spray mist that I had to get it in the gorgeous eau de toilette bottle as well. I am a long time self-proclaimed "fragrance junkie", and yet this is like nothing else (outside of BBW) I've ever smelled before out there on the market. It is that rare blend of clean, sexy, and cozy all at the same time. There's something intoxicating and mysterious about this one. Obviously, you know where I stand from the title. I literally have a ton of fragrances, and my experience with BBW (which has been long-standing, since Sun Ripened Raspberry was the nouveau rage) is that their fragrances are trendy, simple, and forgettable. I was taken aback by a surprise gift of Forever Sunshine (which oddly enough smells like the dry-down of Armani Code!) and that got my attention. In shopping for gifts, I kept returning back to Secret Wonderland as a gift for a girlfriend; something about it really struck a chord as the ideal mix of clean, fresh, but also warm and cozy (which, for me is the HG). I received Twilight Woods as a gift (which reminds me almost entirely of Sensual Amber, just tweaked and re-balanced). Needless to say, in a sniff to sniff comparison, my husband declared "The purple one is WAY better!" Since then I receive nothing but snuggly compliments from him, and curious "what's that yummy smell?" questions from friends. I don't have a problem with staying power at all - I can still smell it the next morning after a light application of lotion + EDT. Scent is obviously up to the sniffer, but for me, this might be THE scent. My new favorite scent at B&BW. Secret Wonderland is a beautifully scented fragrance that has the scent of berries and musky ness. In that aspect it has a similarity to Twilight Woods with a higher smell of berries. The bottle is designed to perfection and makes a great item to put on your perfume tray. I didn't think that I could fall in love with this scent any more, but the EDT proved me wrong. The fragrance mist alone doesn't do this scent justice. It's so light that several of the notes are virtually undetectable. It's difficult to get the "full effect" of the scent with all of the missing notes. The EDT remedies this problem very nicely. There are notes that I can smell in the EDT that I couldn't get even a hint of in the fragrance mist. The rich tartness of the raspberries. The mild sweetness of the vanilla. The soft creaminess of the coconut. The scent of the EDT feels so much more "whole" than the scent of the fragrance mist. Many people are saying that this scent *is* Moonlight Magic. I have to disagree. The two scents are similar; there's no denying that. However, to me, there are some significant differences. I found Moonlight Magic to extremely heavy and musky. I felt that it was "bogged down," if that makes sense. I really wanted to like it, but I found that it gave me a headache. Secret Wonderland, on the other hand, is much fresher. It's crisp, light, and playful. It's more tart and "sparkly." I'd recommend giving this a shot whether or not you liked Moonlight Magic. Coming from someone who disliked Moonlight Magic…I'm glad I tried Secret Wonderland, because I love it! I'm one of those unlucky ladies who has to try a scent on and wear it for a day before I buy it. I've been gifted with a body chemistry that sometimes can take a really great fragrance and make it smell like vomit (seriously!) which is really frustrating. But I have had a passion for pretty perfume bottles since I was first old enough to watch my mother getting ready for a night out. B&BW's Eau de Toilettes have such gorgeous bottles lately too! I was pretty sure I was not going to like Secret Wonderland. The idea of berries and jasmine together—while being scents I like on their own—sounded yucky. But the bottle! Oh, the pretty bottle. So I bought it (and some other Secret Wonderland scented products) hoping I would be surprised to like the fragrance and at worst I could give the offending stuff to my stepdaughter if I didn't like it. While I tend to prefer fragrances with a heavier, more mature overall tone I really love Secret Wonderland. There is a soft, sweetness to it that immediately made me think of words like 'warm' and 'innocent'. The floral notes in it are delicate and for me seemed to dominate the palette while the fruity peachy-berries burned off fast. The sandalwood and amber are there so subtley you'd miss them if you're not familiar with them. As a blend I really like Secret Wonderland for its soft feminine quality. It reminds me of warm, fuzzy pink sweaters and crocheted scarves. Girly and wintery without the flirty sweetness of other scents geared toward teens. While I really enjoy this scent and the bottle is oh-so-pretty—the clear top is a nice touch—the Eau de Toilette doesn't last long. Even layered with the Sensual Swirl Body Lotion it's gone within a couple of hours. I've not had the same problem with other B&BW Eau de Toilette sprays so I can only assume this may be specific to this fragrance or it's my body chemistry being devious. I would recommend this one for a younger fragrance lover or tween. It's girly but not powerfully floral or candy sweet. I've actually planned to purchase this for a tween I need a holiday gift for since purchasing it for myself. In my opinion this is a really pretty scent in a beautiful bottle, just right for a granddaughter or niece this holiday season.

I was content with this product when I first tried it. It's a gorgeous gloss as a standalone, sans the whitening and plumping claims, and seems to be sparkly without noticeable glitter or shimmer. BUT it truly does brighten your teeth (or at least make it appear that way). I've gotten so many compliments on my smile lately that I have to attribute it to this gloss. The plumping? Not so much (knock off one lippie). But the blue tones do come through very faintly, even when combined with a gold-flecked, warm toned lipstick. You get a decent amount for the price (on par with MAC and Stila, value-wise), but it is a well worth splurge. Thank you IT cosmetics for yet another free product. This is quite an interesting lip gloss. It is similar to Lip Fusion lipglosses with infused Collagen, it has the same tube, texture, and long wear. This gloss however is blue in color to make teeth look whiter. Does it work for me? No. But it freshens my breath and tastes like mint. Its clear so it goes great over my lipsticks. Its $24 if anyone is wondering.

For me, Shiseido and Shu are incomparable because of their shape difference. Shiseido's flatter shape is the closest thing to a perfect fit for my smaller Asian eyes, while giving my short lashes a long-lasting sky-high curl (a term I didn't understand until I encountered this curler). In contrast, my lashes would not fit in the Shu's rounder curve. I paid $20 CAD for this curler, which I do think is really steep for an eyelash curler. But I would definitely repurchase if I had to, since it gives me the best fit of all the curlers I've ever seen or tried, from both high-end and drugstore brands. (I'm not really expecting to replace this any time soon, though; it seems fairly sturdy.) My only qualms with this curler are really minor. I was unable to find the usual silver one - whose colour I prefer - and ended up purchasing the gunmetal one. This gunmetal curler feels slightly heavier than the other curlers I've tried before. I get good results with this but I still have to heat it with my blowdryer. My lashes are super straight & this is the only way I can keep the curl. The reason I gave it a 4 is simply because it's not quite curved enough for the shape of my eyes. I've bene using it since last spring & will likely start looking for a new one soon. Would I recommend it? Yes. It's a very well made tool with good quality pads. Really nice if it fits your eye shape. This is way better than the drugstore curler I used to use. I purchased it because the Sephora salesperson said that it was like a cheaper version of the famous Shu curler. I've never used that one, but have always been happy with my Shiseido one. It fits my eye and gives me a good curl that holds well. I'm happy with it. When it needs to be replaced, I may try the Shu one, but would also be happy to repurchase it. After reading many great reviews, I finally purchased this lash curler. The only lash curler that i have ever pocessed is from Revlon and I have adjusted my technics so I could actually achieve a rather satisfying job with it. The first time I got hold of the curler itself, it feels light and flexible, in fact, it even feels a bit too loose for my liking. it is actually faltter than Revlon and the first time i used it, it pinched my eyelid because I was not carefully enough. It fits better with my eyes but I am use to really push it and then squeeze hard. After a few tries, I think you need to use the correct technic and curl all the way up in order to get the best result. The first time I tried it, my lash folded upward in almost a 90 degree staight angle which was not pretty at all. But now, with less pressure and carefully move up the lashes, I actually can have curly lash that shoot up to my eyebrows. For something that works this well, $20 is a reasonable price to me and I am looking forward to purchase it again.

I have tried everything with hype: Lancome, Tarte, Buxom, etc. I look for a mascara's ability to hold a curl, because it seems as though most do the exact opposite. This stuff holds a curl, is not clumpy at all, does not flake or smear, and it stays in water excellent. I get complimented on my lashes all the time. Best and most reasonably priced waterproof one that I have tried to date. Waterproof means waterproof to these folks. I just wash my face in the shower to remove it . In DC and Atlanta the heat and humidity can really do a number on your makeup. You can have a bad allergy day or an all out cry with a sad movie and never have to worry about the raccoon brigade showing up . I pair this with my HG Rimmell 25 hour long wear in true ivory 103 great red face coverage for hot days ...was using loreal Infallable but so drying and poor shade match.... and my HG Revlon color stay brown eye pencil in brown use it for liner , shadow even eye brows....You can go all day rain, shine intense workout etc... My skin is dry not oily or combo if that matters) As with most mascara , wipe some of it off on tissue .If you get a little mess you can always do the old Q tip in makeup base for a quick clean up . As a perspective on my makeup habits , 30 years of wearing makeup clinique, estee lauder, Lancome, etc. and I find that I am just as happy with my cheap little finds. This mascara can get really clumpy and stick your lashes together if you don't wipe off the wand before applying. Unfortunately, once you do that, the mascara becomes very natural. Not always a bad thing though. Holds a curl, is pretty waterproof, very decent, but definitely not perfect. I wanted a cheaper mascara that would get me through a week long trip, so I picked up this for $4. Usually I buy Maybelline Volumous One by One or Full n Soft since I like to go for a natual look. This mascara leaves my lashes more stiff than my normal Full n Soft, but it offers WAY better length. And it's not as painful to remove as CG's Lash Blast!! No smudging, but I haven't tried swimming in it yet (I will be so dissapointed if it runs all over!). It's much, much better than it's sister-in-cheapness, Maybelline's Great Lash Waterproof. It's not expensive at all...even at full price it was 6 bucks. It goes on easily, smoothly and does not glop at all. It doesn't take the curl out of my pre-curled lashes either and will also hold an eyelash curler curl for most of the day. It did not smear until I rubbed my eyes at the end of the day and I've been in rain, humid weather and worn it during an active day. It does not make your lashes brittle and it comes off easily with soap and water. However I do get a couple flakes but nothing I can't whisk away. It thickens my lashes, separates them and lengthens them. It could be better, yes, but as an overall mascara it's wonderful! I don't have any gripes about it other than the brush. And for 4 dollars, I'm in love! ALTHOUGH, I have to say that this mascara seems to only work best on those who already have decent or good lashes to begin with. If you have sparse, short, thin lashes, you probably won't get any benefit from using this.

Since Neutrogena no longer makes their Soft Color blushes, this is the only drugstore blush I will buy! I love Rose Silk, because it's a beautiful warm pink, with just enough shimmer to make cheeks glow, but not look glittery or "shiny". Cool pinks don't work on my warm pale skintone, and darker pinks tend to turn muddy on me for some reason, but this shade is so pretty and natural looking! This blush applies smoothly, and lasts well, and doesn't break me out. I have been a CG blush fan for many years, and considering I own blushes from Mac, Lancome, Clinique, Stila, and Estee Lauder, that's saying a lot!!!! If you're darker than medium, this shade may be too light for you, but you golden goddesses might just love "Iced Plum", which is the shade I use when I'm tan. CG has some unexpectedly good products, and this blush is one of them! Let me say first that I don't like the CG brand, and I try not to buy their products. For a number of reasons--including the fact that they still test on animals--CG is one of the last brands I'm likely to buy when I go into a store. But I have a big weakness for blush, and there was a coupon at my store for $1.50 off a CG product, so here I am... And this is a great blush: sheer, luminous, and just plain pretty. It's also low maintenance, meaning hard to overdo. I've got a lot of blushes, and with some of them you have to really watch your application or you'll end up too bright or stripey or whatever. But Rose Silk is easy. The color also looks really natural, and pretty much goes with whatever face you're putting on. If you're a minimalist, this could be the only blush (or one of the few) you'll ever need. I also like the compact, even if it's clunky-looking; it's hard to find a d/s blush with a mirrored compact these days. This is a beautiful and inexpensive blush. It is easy to build upon and if used over other blushes produces a nice glowy effect. The only thing I don't like about CG blushes is that they seem to get a strange build up on the ends with dirt (from blush brush possibly, but I wash my brushes once a week and only use makeup on a clean face in the am. Overall, if this blush is applied correctly it will have some shimmer but not turn you into a glitter face. This is my daily wear blush. I have dark hair & eyes and this goes really well with my nuetral brown tones for eyes & lips on a daily basis. It gives just the right amount of color without looking overdone and gives a nice flushed appearance to my cheeks. I've tried several othe blushes and always end up right back here. I love the flip top lid, but obviously I do not use the brush that comes with this. This blush is fantastic, really. I couldn't figure out how the compact worked for the life of me when I first opened it, but now I got it and it's great. The color goes on very very smooth and natural. I have the palest skin on the planet I think and it still looks great. It has a touch of shimmer to it that's subtle but gives skin a very lovely glow. I think this is the first blush that I've found that shows up, looks natural, and is extremely affordable. I just got this blush today. My favorite blush is New York Color Mosaic Blush in Pink Cheek Glow, but Walmart never seems to have that shade, so I decided to try this blush. I like the compact it comes in and the color is natural looking, which is good because I don't like looking like a clown. However, I don't like the smell and even though the color is nice, I just wish it were a bit more pigmented. Also, the brush that comes with this is useless. I tried using it and I couldn't get enough of the product onto the brush, so I used my blush brush instead and that worked much better. I will repurchase this blush until I find something better. I must have a different packaging than other reviewers.. mine has no mirror and is a smallish compact. I don't love the packaging it's very cheap looking. Lovely easy to wear blush in a beautiful colour without too much shimmer and lasts a decent amount of time. I am happy with it.

I have been tempted to buy primer to use with my powder shadows, but I'm glad I bought this product (which combines primer + color) instead. It goes on quickly, is easily blendable with a finger, and you can do a sheer application or layer on the color more heavily. I have both the "extreme green" and "platinum pop." Despite the name, the green is pretty subtle if you want it to be. The silvery light blue of "platinum pop" appeals to me less, but I'll still wear it. If Cover Girl adds a plum shade, I'd buy it in a minute! This stays put and looks good for a long time; there is minor creasing, but that can be smoothed out with a finger or Q-tip. Eye shadow has either always disappeared or has caused creases, grrr...I saw this reviewed and with the primer in the formula, I loved it, only tried #800 which is a frosty whitish color, which is my go to color, will def try others, very satisfied and stays on, no creases, if you make a mistake, wipe immediately as it dries quick. This product works excellently. Even though I wouldn't use them on their own, the colours are all gorgeous. I prefer to use this product as a primer, because I originally bought it because the store I went to didn't have L'oreal Decrease (I've never been able to wear eyeshadows without them creasing) and I'm so glad I chose this instead. They really work to make sure that my shadow doesn't crease until I take it off. And I tested some of this on my arm before hopping in the shower - there was still a nice shimmer of color when I got out, I had to use some makeup remover. It has great staying power, especially for the price. My only complaints are that the tube is small, and I wish they had a purple color. i really like this product but not as a stand alone eyeshadow product. i bought this in the lightest color intending to use it as an eyeshadow primer. as a stand alone shadow i feel like its hard to really build the color. but as a primer it works great. in fact i think it may be slightly easier to work with than ud primer potion (which imo feels a little too tacky and sticky for my own preferences). as a primer it intensifies my eyeshadows and prevents them from budging until i take them off. also the price is much better than a lot of the other eyeshadow primers out there! and i also think the large sponge cushion like applicator is kind of novel. I just purchased this on a whim, and I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised! I got the Blue Bomb shade b/c I was intrigued by it's silvery blue color. For a long time, I've been looking for the right shade of gray to compliment my complexion and replicate a make-up look I saw yrs ago. I've tried dozens of shadows, some very expensive, to no avail, so you can imagine my excitement upon discovering that this relatively inexpensive ds shadow is exactly what I've been searching for! It has just the right undertones and contrast to work with my skintone. I also don't mind the applicator. I just use it to sporadically dot the shadow onto my lids, and then I use a large brush to spread and blend it out. The best thing about this product is that it truly does last all day with no creasing or fading whatsoever!! Honestly, I'm so pleased that I almost feel like going out and stocking up on this stuff, haha.
