Bath & Body Works Signature Collection Concentrated Room Spray Black Amethyst
Too musky for a small bathroom
I am a big fan of scented candles, sticks and oils, but not a too much of room spray fan. Regardless, I keep one of BBW room sprays in our guest bathroom because the design of the spray is not too obvious as an air freshener and odor eliminator. Just one spray, the bathroom is filled with a long lasting scent. BUT I picked the wrong fragrance this time. Black Amethyst is too musky/woodsy, and smells a bit like a men's cologne. Too strong. I would go back to Japanese Cherry Blossom or Midnight Pomegranate.

The brush of this mascara is quite fine. I like the small size because it separates lashes very well, and I see no clumps. However, it does not lengthen as much as some of my other favorite mascaras. Also, if you want to curl your eyelashes, you will need a good eyelash curler. BTW, removing is no hassle for me. I use DHC Deep Cleansing Oil or Clinique Wash Away Gel Cleanser with warm water, and the mascara comes off easily.

I swim regularly, and sometimes regular shampoo and conditioner are not nourishing enough for my hair damaged by sun & chlorine. Especially when I use a mediocre shampoo/conditioner combination, I use an intensive treatment or mask at least twice a week. This is one of my two favorite treatments (the other one is Neutrogena Triple Moisture Daily Deep Conditioner). The cream is not very thick, yet certainly does the job. My hair feels very silky and soft after using this (I leave in for about 5 min). The scent is mild and pleasant. This is as fantastic as Neutrogena's, but a bit more expensive. If your hair needs a deeply penetrating hair treatment, try this!

This Amazemint lip gloss is unexpectedly muti-tasking. Many other lip glosses add only shine to my lips, but not actual color. But this gloss (Red Riot) adds a nice, natural and healthy looking color to my lips. And it soothes and hydrates chapped lips. I am very use to a minty tingling sensation, therefore, their minty flavor and scent does not bother me at all. I usually don't use covergirl products, but I am quite impressed with this one (Red Riot). Since it is less than $5, I experimented with a few other colors. Un-wined was too purple, and Freedom of Peach had almost no color. So far I only like Red Riot.

It has a strong floral scent. Unfortunately, I find it not very special, including the bottle, which isn't really all that exciting either. I like the fragrance of Estee Lauder's another parfum spray "Beautiful" at least 10 times more.

The summer of 2009 I bought MAC Style Warrior Bronzing Powder in Refined Golden, and it was a limited edition. I liked shimmery golden color, and just one application gave my tanned skin a natural glow. When I still had tanned skin, this bronzer was fantastic. But after summer when my skin was a bit more fair, the color no longer matched, and it made my cheeks look a little unnatural. So this bronzing powder definitely depends on skin tone. BTW, I wish it came with a little less sparkle/glitter.

As an adult who suffers from regular acne breakouts, I really wanted this foundation to be effective. But it did not clear up skin. Fortunately, it did not worsen either. It provided a decent coverage, but that was pretty much it. I think the name is a bit misleading. There are other oil-free foundations with a better matching color, a more coverage, and even with SPF. I love Neutrogena skin care products, but so far not this makeup.

The eyeshadow stays better with this primer, but it was a bit light for me. Also, it dries rather quickly, which can be a good thing for some people, but I for one prefer a little moist in an eye primer so that it would be even easier to apply mineral shadows. In the end, it still prolongs the duration of shadows, but my mom paid almost $30 for this....crazy. I would not pay this much for an eye primer.

Okay I purchased this mask because of the yummy name - Japanese Matcha Tea with Acai & Goji Berry. At first I was intimidated by its dark grayish/brownish color. But I like the earthy (not dirty) scent. It feels like a soft paste, and I use it all over my face and neck. It seems to remove excess oil from my skin successfully, and it helps to heal itchy and reddish pimples quite well. It can be as messy as a typical mud mask, and just washing with water does not remove the color off my skin. I use a cotton ball and a toner to get rid of the color completely. It is a bit pricey, but much cheaper than having a facial treatment at a spa. If you are looking for an organic deep cleansing mask, try this one.

I own several products of the l'Occitane verbena collection, but this one was just so-so for me. I hate to say this, but the scent resembles a citrus-based household cleaning product. Don't get me wrong, I usually love the Verbena fragrance, and I have no problem with my other l'Occitane verbenas. Also, this shower gel is not very moisturizing.
