My regular makeup remover is not practical for traveling. Just like other cleansing clothes, this Garnier one is convenient and easy to use. I noticed that it has a pleasant scent, and one sheet is soaked pretty well, compared to Olay's and Dove's. It removes my makeup nicely, and it does not dry up my face, but a bit weak on removing certain types of mascara.

Unlike typical lip gloss products, Shu Uemura Gloss is much less sticky, and I absolutely love the colors, which stay pretty good. The gloss goes on smoothly and adds shine, but not unnatural/glue like shine. It is more expensive than many other brands, but the size is generous, and I don't have to re-apply them as often as others. I would give the perfect 10 if these were unscented.

These are very inexpensive, but the bottles are very small. Regardless, I thought these tiny bottles would be great for traveling. Unfortunately, I also find the colors chip occasionally, even with double coats. This is one of the nail colors that it requires a good top coat each application. Therefore, in the end, I feel that these nail polishes are more costly than some other nail colors.

The scent was surprisingly a little different from their Crabtree & Evelyn La Source shampoo or conditioner. It was a bit more strong and aromatic. I wish it was slightly milder. What I liked about this body wash was rich lather. It created very nice form with a mesh sponge, but not very moisturizing. I think the entire La Source collection is more ideal in summer. BTW, for even more relaxing experience, try La Source Relaxing Bath Tablets.

My husband usually uses Head and Shoulders Classic Clean Shampoo, but he tried the whole bottle of this H&S intensive treatment shampoo recently. He concludes that he did not feel and see any significant difference from his regular H&S Classic Clean Shampoo. In other words, both helped to eliminate dandruff. Nevertheless, this shampoo dried out his hair a little more, and as for the scent, he prefer the regular one. Since none of us suffers from severe dandruff, I cannot judge whether this shampoo is more effective against severe dandruff than regular Head and Shoulders. However, for my husband's mild to moderate dandruff problem, the regular H & S Classic Clean Shampoo is good enough. BTW, my husband strongly recommend to use one of H&S conditioners for a better result.

I used to apply a regular sunscreen on my lips, but since it never stayed well, I started using sunscreen lip balm. I used their "SPF 45" version because I wanted the maximum protection. I liked that it was water resistant, but it felt a bit waxy. For that reason, I sightly prefer the Hawaiian Tropic Lip Balm (which smells coconutty!), but if I am not mistaken, Banana Boat was a bit cheaper. Good deal.

When I had to stay overnight at a hospital and their air was really dry, a nurse recommended me this oil. Although it hydrated my skin moderately, I prefer to use this oil in the bath to apply directly on my skin right after getting out of the shower. First of all, the oil was thin (compared to Johnson's Baby Oil or Oil Gel) so I had to use more than other body oil. The scent was soothing in the bath, but on my skin it was a bit strong. What I disliked the most about this oil was the bottle. It got very slippery and greasy. In conclusion, it is great in the bath, but not on my skin.

Since I was happy with their body mist, I decided to give their lotion a try (and it was only $4 at wal-mart). I was afraid that their "Brown Sugar Vanilla" would have an overwhelmingly strong scent, but surprisingly it turns out to be not too bad. Yes, it is scented, and it smells like a combination of vanilla and maple syrup (if you are not a fan of sweet fragrances, there are many other scents to choose from). The lotion is thick and creamy, but quite light and not long lasting. Thus, it may not be for really dry skin or for the wintertime. Overall, I say it is satisfactory for the price I paid.

This brush was included in a kit. It is soft, and the dome shape is great for a circular motion. It grabs the right amount of powder. Unlike some cheap brush, it does not shed, and it still works as good as when I first got it. Two thumbs up!

There is no way I would have paid the full price, but this was included in a postpartum basket that I received from my friends a few years ago. What I remembered the most was it had the funky smell. Not too bad, just weird. As soon as I applied, I felt my thighs and hips were a bit tighter. But that was mostly due to the gel effect. The firmness was clearly not permanent, maybe I had to keep using this product forever. As for the stretch marks, they seemed to fade away, but I am not quite sure whether this serum helped or they were naturally faded away with time. If it was not so expensive, I may have bought another tube. However, it is not worth the full price for the minimal difference this serum gave me.
