  • It Cosmetics Vitality Lip Fush Butter Trio

I bought a set of three of these: Je Ne Sais Quoi, Pretty Woman, and Love Story. Honestly? I love them. They feel so nice on. Slick but not sloppy, and not at all sticky. The gloss wears off after an hour or so, but the stain stays a long time. Yes, they do stain, but I think Love Story and Je Ne Sais Quoi stain to a pretty flush. Pretty Woman, though, stains really dark pink--OK for evening but a tad loud for me for day. That said, these are not at all drying on me, and the stain does last most of the day. The more you apply, the deeper the stain and the longer it lasts. I am not going to knock it just because the color isn't perfect for me...it would work beautifully for someone darker than I or someone who rocks a bright lip.

  • It Cosmetics Vitality Cheek Flush Stain Anti-Aging Powder Blush Stain

It Cosmetics took a perfectly great blush and infused it with a cheek stain and combined it all in a powder formula that’s enriched with anti-aging ingredients for a powder blush stain. What’s so amazing about a powder blush stain? The wear time! Once you blended this puppy on your cheeks you’ll have the long, strong wear of a liquid or gel cheek stain that’s virtually zombie plague proof. This one just lasts and lasts and lasts even on oily skin. Sweat-proof, waterproof, and sun proof this one hangs in there all day until you take it off. But the best part? The benefits of a liquid or gel cheek stain in a powder formula that blends easier than a liquid would. If you’ve always loved liquid stains but felt like you couldn’t get them blended correctly indulge in this powder which applies as easily as any powder would but has the long wear of the stain you so dearly love.

    It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores

    IT COSMETICS ALL THE WAY

I got a sample of this powder when I ordered the Get Wet bronzer (which I LOVE btw) I've been on a recent cosmetics kick lately and am always searching for the best of the best especially since this one festival im going to is coming up, I need products that are really gonna withstand the 16 hours, outdoors in may festivities. I have the MUFE hd powder but it doesn't compare to this powder, its basically what the MUFE should've been. Let me be proof of that! What I love about this product is that it looks amazing on your skin, it really does blur out any lines, wrinkles, or pores you may have. Now I have big pores on my cheeks & an expression line on my forehead but when I put this on they are soo much less noticeable & almost disappear. My skin looks almost flawless & professional with this, i've been told my makeup lately has been looking the best its ever looked since I've been wearing this instead of my MUFE (never fully satisfied & kinda disappointed with that powder) I will most definitely be getting the full size, I just love the finish it gives & how well it holds my makeup. A true hd powder in my opinion. Now, I don't wanna bore you too much so i'm just gonna go over aspects I love about this product: FINISH: Not dry or powdery looking. Makes makeup look more flawless & smooth, almost gives "that glow" that's missing in most powders without any shimmer. Also doesn't leave a white cast. Has an awesome blur-effect! TEXTURE: Very finely milled & silky like the MUFE pretty much, maybe even slightly better. LASTING POWER: I feel like it controls oil better than MUFE, I get less oily for a much more extended amount of time. Defininitley holds makeup better too. Love it, thumbs up! I don't have any complaints. :D

  • It Cosmetics My Sculpted Face

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVE this product once again it is a HG product all the way ("Bye Bye Under Eye" is absolutely incredible and now this)! I have always wanted that contoured face that I see so much in television, but try as I might, I could never really get that look. I've tried a few contour products over the years, but they always looked strange, severe or chalky. They would either be too obvious (no matter how I blended or what technique I used) or they would be too light and nondescript and do nothing. I also didn't like how they would make blemishes and stuff more obvious by pulling off your foundation. I gave up on the idea altogether until I saw this. First off, they give you this really wonderful palette with all the shades you would ever need no matter what your skin tone. You get two highlighting shades of white and 4 other shades for contouring. I am so hard to color match because I am extremely pale with pink undertones, but I had no trouble here at all. I love love love the plastic sheet that slides on and off the mirror on the flip side of the palette as it actually shows you where the different shades go perfectly. It's worth the price for that alone! It shows you exactly where the white shades should go as well as the contour shades (it's kind of like contouring for dummies, which is what I needed when it comes to a process like this). In fact in the picture provided by the other reviewer, you can see the instructional sheet they give you of a woman's face with white and brown strokes and it's attached to the palette so you never need to remember where everything goes or fear you will make a mistake. I contoured my face in five minutes and looked like I had lost ten pounds instantly! I could not get over the difference in my face! I got natural looking high cheekbones instead of what I normally get with blush and no more double chin (I have a small one that comes and goes depending on my weight that month, but it gets annoying at times)! My nose looked so perfectly sculpted and my face a work of art. I was very surprised at how natural this looked because again I am quite fair and things tend to really stand out on my skin. The shades are all kind of smooth and powdery (they are not creams or straight powders). They seem to be sort of in between, so you get that wonderful natural look and buildability. They go on smooth and look amazing. Best of all you can use this over your foundation or underneath it. I tried various looks and loved them all. I contoured under Napoleon Perdis's Camera Finish powder/foundation and it looked amazing. I also used this over my MUFE HD Foundation and under my finishing powder and that also looked incredible. Fabulous product that literally does it all (and the formula is so sheer and buildable that it didn't pull off my foundation or concealer the way the others did)! Very impressed!!

  • It Cosmetics Tightline Full Lash Length Black Mascara Primer

A BLACK mascara primer! Why on earth didn't somebody come up with this idea long before now? Now that my minor rant is over with, here are my thoughts on the product: Pros: cruelty-free, which is a must for me I love the tiny, impossibly skinny brush, which makes easy work of getting the product right into the roots of lashes lengthens well imparts the look of a dense lash line, even without eyeliner stays on well, even on my super-oily skin, as long as I top it with mascara does not look clumpy Cons: price - it's $24, which I consider a bit pricey for a lash primer can seem very slightly "crunchy," but not enough to be a problem will smear if I don't top it with my tubing mascara seems to be available only online, at least at the moment To summarize, I really like Tightline primer, though I have a feeling I'd totally LOVE it if I didn't have such ridiculously oily skin. When I tried using the primer alone, with no mascara, eyeliner, or lid primer over or under it, it did have a tendency to come off under my eyes. If that were not the case, I can imagine using this primer in place of both mascara and eyeliner, for a quick, simple no-makeup look. Still, it looks great as a primer under my tubing mascara - my lashes look long, thick, and jet black, and hold a curl well.* It doesn't seem to thicken as well as it lengthens, but the "tightline" effect helps compensate for that. This is a unique, high-performing product that I'd purchase again. I bought mine at itcosmetics (where you can get 20% off on your first order, if you register for an account). *I should probably add that if you wear black mascara over this primer, the effect can get "dramatic" in a big hurry. It's best to start off with one light coat of mascara, then layer if desired, to avoid a heavy look.

  • It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye

HG HG HG HG!! Let me say it again: HG HG HG! I must say that this concealer has blown me right out of the water. All the hype that I've been hearing as been totally well-deserved. Sorry, I am at the moment hyperventilating about its really ridiculous. Let me tell you - I have been searching so incredibly long for the perfect concealer. Sadly enough though, most concealers are lacking either in the endurance department, the coverage department, the oil-free department, and the color department. And having less than perfect skin, I am the pickiest concealer afficionado: I've literally tried 'em all. MUFE FC, MUFE Lift, Kat Von D Tattoo Concealer, Smashbox Camera Ready concealer, Benefit Erase Paste, Benefit Boiing, Amazing Cosmetics, LORAC Double Feature, Vichy DermaBlend, Cover FX Camouflage Concealer, Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer, BE & EDM concealers, and many more. If a line has a concealer, trust me, I've tried it. I am happy to say that this concealer has ZERO lack of anything. I just need the tiniest dot on, and whatever imperfection I had melts into oblivion! No need to layer at all, although this is entirely layerable. I just look like I have perfect skin. =) I still put mmu, but its more a force of habit than that I need any additional coverage. No concealer has given me this confidence before, so I am THRILLED. I know it is meant for under the eye, and I am EXTREMELY happy with how it works under there, but I must say that this covers every single blemish/dark spot on your face like a dream. I'm also the laziest of people, so I hate having to layer things on. Like other reviewers said, it is more moisturizing than most concealers, and thus goes blends into the skin much more easily. The consistency is that of a very very thick cream. It comes out of a little tube, and it's quite tough to squeeze out of the tube because it's so darn thick. Just a little is needed, and . I am NC40, and I got Tan. It's a bit lighter than my skintone, but perfectly blendable. I'd say everyone NC35-NC40 could use Tan. Its undertones are very neutral, not pink or not yellow to my observation, so it would match most skintones. Aside from that, due to how little is needed to get full and opaque coverage, this is very cheap and will last forever. Amazing Cosmetics and KA Sensual Skin Enhancer are the only ones that have come close to the pigmentation, and this is half the price for the same amount.

  • MAC Powder Blush
    8.0

    MAC Powder Blush

    Nice blussh

I'm going to be honest when I first saw this blush in the pan, I really didn't like it. It looks like a very matte reddish color, not exactly what I had been looking for my NC15 skin. However, I trust the MAC employees, so I tried it on anyways. All I could say is, I'm never doubting anyone at MAC ever again! This was the perfect color for me. I had told my sister right before coming that I wanted a color that is natural yet noticeable like pinched cheeks. Well, the name says it all "pinch me," it's exactly what I was looking for. The color of this blush could only be described as a true blush. It's not too pink, it's not too brown; or purple, or red. It's actually the color that a blush is supposed to be like, like you are blushing or having your cheeks pinched, except better. It's natural yet obviously there. This blush cost me $21 dollars which is really not bad for MAC, some of my drugstore blushes are nearing that price. The MAC sales associate applied my blush with the #188 brush, a small duo fibre brush (stippling brush). While walking through the mall, it stayed on throughout and I wasn't wearing any foundation underneath. I love it. This blush is amazing, I definitely recommend it.

  • Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade

am so in love with this product! I have decent eyebrows naturally - something I've always been precious about since a young age. That said, my eyebrows are a tiny bit asymmetrical, and although they're not thin per se, I like to make them look thicker and bolder, take them to the "next level" if you know what I mean. There's no higher compliment to me than "Strong eyebrow game" after all lol. Anyway, I've been using MAC's eyebrow pencil in "lingering" which I've been very happy with, but I've heard so many good things about the dipbrow pomade that I caved and had to try it. I must say that I'm not the most skilled with makeup application, so I was a little worried about its gel-like consistency and the fact that I would have to apply it with a brush, but my fears were totally unfounded. I found it SO easy to apply with an angled brow brush, and it certainly didn't take any more time or effort to apply than my MAC pencil, not to mention it was easy to blend, and looked INCREDIBLE. In fact, after I applied it for the first time and met up with a friend, literally the first thing out of her mouth was "YOUR EYEBROWS LOOK AMAZING!" Lovely simple packaging in a tiny glass pot, the dipbrow is fantastic value as such a little bit goes a very long way. I purchased it in the dark brown colour, and it's ideal for me - it is quite a neutral brown that seems to work for many different skin/hair colour combos: lots of reviewers have said that it works well with a more cool brown hair colour, but I actually have reddish brown hair and it works perfectly for me too! I found staying power to be fantastic (I have really sweaty eyebrows, does anyone else?) - it lasted all day no problem with no slippage or rubbing off. Although my MAC pencil has served me very well, Dipbrow is my HG and I honestly don't think I'll ever need to purchase another brow product for filling and shaping! This is the best thing to have ever happened to me. The colour is rich without looking unnatural, and just glides on. The best thing about it though is how long it lasts; people say they don't need makeup to last long because "who goes to sleep with their makeup on." Yes well, being young and whatnot with this product I am able to wake up after a night out without worrying about my eyebrows. In Australia it's a little expensive ($35, but I bought it from Anastasia for $18 + the shipping costs) but it is so worth it, I've wasted so much money on pencils that did not last on my eyebrows on the actual product itself would last a day. Maybe I've been doing something wrong. If that's the case then that's an extra bonus for the products because even idiots can use it. I love love love this. I love Anastasia.

  • L'Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo

After my awesome experience with the Total Repair Extreme mask I had to know if the shampoo and conditioner were just as awesome from this line. I got them for $4 a piece. This line is dirt cheap for how good it is. No product is over $7 or so. The shampoo is very rich and the lather is very creamy. Despite its richness it did an excellent job at cleansing my hair without leaving behind oils or weighing it down. I have very fine breakage prone hair but also a very oily scalp and my hair gets weighed down easily. It is a delicate balance to find products that nourish but don't turn me into a grease ball. I paired this with the Total Repair Extreme Conditioner which I reviewed separately and my hair was left feeling very smooth, soft, and clean without feeling weighed down at all. My scalp feels really good after using this shampoo & conditioner, I'm not sure what ingredient caused that but it is a nice bonus. This shampoo has a non offensive fruity-floral scent that doesn't hang around in my hair after rinsing. Love that the bottles are meant to be stored upside down so the product is always easy to dispense.

  • Soap & Glory The Righteous Body Butter

If you like a really heavy duty body cream and if you like miss dior perfume, this is the body cream for you. Firstly, it can easily be a body cream for the miss dior, they smell the same to me and I've been using the scent for years. Why buy the matching lotion when you can get this. If you don't like heavily scent creams you might not like this but I love the perfume, I just had to match them. Secondly, it is a heavy duty cream IMO because I'm so used to light body lotions which doesn't really do much or last long. I mainly use this on my hands and feet because those sure the areas that are the roughest and driest and it last for hours and that's why i think its a heavy cream. It sinks in, dries down but you can still feel a film of it but not in a bad way. Not like some creams that sits on your skin forever and feels slippery. I normally don't buy any body lotions,
