Just got this and am supremely happy with it - got it in medium and I have very dark brown hair (no throw of red). The wax does colour your skin subtlely but more importantly gives the brow powder something to stick to. You will have a much more defined look! Can use wax and powder separately, but the wax didn't give me enough colour that way. I have been using a Bobbi Brown eyeshadow (flat dark matte brown) to do my brows for YEARS. This is with a Claudio Riaz Instant Brow brush that I got from Barney's. Poor brush will have to be retired because Brow Zings needs a small angled brush! Don't bother with the brushes in the kit. Eyeshadow powder alone will not give you the precision that this product does, and that is because of the wax. When you think of wax, you may think of a tough product which won't apply well. This can be described as a sort of soft creme wax, which you should apply sparingly and build. Don't add too much because you will of course add powder to it! Powder is pretty highly pigmented. Wear is really long, basically until you choose to take it off! Eyeshadow alone tends to fade. I believe that a similar product is available from ModelCo and it is cheaper than AU$55 which I think is extremely steep for something you put on your eyebrows. That said, I think this will last 6 mths, or more! If you like clearly defined coloured in eyebrows which have a long lasting effect, definitely pick this up. You will look incredible!

This is a great product I barely been using it for a few days and well I've been getting better at it. It leaves a nice flawless finish and I love the blush. Once you get use to it it is easy to use I did practice a little in my hand and I have to say I was gonna have doubts but then bam nope it's fun easy and a fast way to do makeup

I saw the NYX Wonder Pencil in one of my local beauty supplies and its advertisement showed 3 pictures: the pencil covering frecklage(freckles) , lining the water line , and lastly lining the lips. I was intrigued and out of the 3 shades available (Light/Medium/ Dark) I opted for the DARK to try it out. (Note: the 3 shades are not based upon the traditional color system for makeup. if you are a Cocoa color the Dark will be too light. The Dark is perfect for tanned/ lighter-caramel skin tones). I bought this pencil to conceal any facial flaws, such as hyper-pigmented/red marks that have not quite faded yet. It is a traditional make-up pencil with a clear cap that can be sharpened using any pencil sharpener. Although I bought this for one purpose to CONCEAL –which it does a wonderful job at- I love the versatility this pencil provides. The formula is smooth, provides full coverage over small spots (if using for concealing purposes), and blends well with foundation. I paid $5 for this pencil and it is quite long-lasting for me because I don’t use it daily. So, it’s definitely cost-effective. I definitely say give it a try!

I've repurchased this mascara about 4 times and I can't believe I haven't given it a review yet. I'm trying my best to try new mascaras but I always seem to be gravitating back to this one. Okay, I have medium thick, sparse, and fine lashes. If that even makes any sense... I have asian-like lashes but they're some what thick. Not sure if that still even makes any sense! But! I really love this mascara, I always end up getting compliments for how long and full they look whenever I'm wearing it. I really love how flexible the wand is and the bristles on the brush-comb are tiny and they grasp onto any lashes that I thought were non-existent. It is a buildable mascara but it will end up flaking quite a bit if you put over 3 coats of it, of course. BUT the best part is ... It doesn't clump your lashes during your buildable moments. The formula (speaking of the waterproof one) is dry and I like that in a mascara. There's really no describable scent to it, so it's not bothering whatsoever. The price is a bit pricey for me any ways for a drugstore mascara, rather than your usual $4-$8 mascaras, this can be about $10 from where I live any ways, so I like to stock up on them when a sale goes on. Which is why I have been trying new mascaras, haha... Until then! Although, it's not a great mascara for volume though. So if you're looking for a volumizing mascara, don't even bother trying this out! If you're looking for a mascara to separate, elongate, and make your lashes more fluttery and full then definitely give this mascara a try!

Since I purchased my first Beautyblender (BB) 2 years ago, I've stopped looking for the "perfect" makeup tool to make my foundation look flawless. If you are like me and your goal is to have a dewy, polished, and natural skin finish, then the BB is for you. I used to spend a lot of time with my foundation, from making sure that there were no brush streaks on my face and neck to making sure everything was perfectly in place. The BB has been a huge time-saver for me. To prep the sponge, all I do is squeeze it in my hand under warm running water to make sure that the whole BB is wet. Then using a towel, I would squeeze out any excess water. You want the sponge to be damp and ready to use, not soaking wet. Some have complained about the BB soaking up and wasting too much product. What I have learned to do is pump my foundation on the back of my hand and with my clean fingers, I dot the foundation on my face and neck. Now comes the best part! With the larger side, I will bounce away (or stipple, as you pros say) on my cheeks, chin, forehead, and neck. Any difficult areas like around the nose or under the eyes, I will use the pointed side for more precision. The BB is great for powdered foundations and for blending out concealers too. One thing that I would like to emphasize is to clean your BBs regularly. My cleanser isn't anything fancy or expensive so I use it to clean the sponge. Focus on the areas where you can see the foundation but also clean the whole sponge thoroughly. If you don't try and clean it daily, you risk staining your BB (the longer you wait, the harder it is to get it all pink and clean again) but the biggest risk is damaging your skin with a dirty sponge. With my sensitive skin, I would never risk that. When you are squeezing your clean BB under running water, the sponge should quickly expand back. If you see that your BB is not absorbing the water and isn't growing (it should expand when wet), it's a sign that product or even the cleanser you used to clean it is still trapped in there. I would suggest to replace your BBs every 6 months. Just the thought of all the bacteria that can be potentially trapped inside the sponge is making my palms sweaty now... One last thing is a word of caution for those with long nails! Be careful when you're squeezing the sponge dry, careful not to tear the sponge. The Beautyblender is quite pricey and I haven't tried other sponges (other than the ones that came with my compact foundations). My principle is to not waste money if I've already found something good.

PROS: -Cute packaging! Looks AND smells like an actual chocolate bar. It's difficult to resist biting into this palette. -Great variation of browns and neutrals. -Great variation of shimmers, mattes, and satins. -Great value for 16 different shades. -Decent pigmentation on most shades. CONS: -Staying power and blendability. Looks great when I initially put it on, but it fades and creases as the day goes on. -I've experienced difficulty with blending some of the shades. Maybe it's due to the similarity of tones and hues, but I tend to end up with one mushed up color on my lids by the day's end. -The texture on some of the shades are quite chalky. OTHER NOTES: -This cute, delicious palette is a must have for those who tend to hoard/collect eyeshadow paletes (like me!). But if you are looking to invest in a palette for more practical reasons (such as long-wearing shadows which will last many hours), you might want to look elsewhere. -Overall, the case is pretty sturdy. But I noticed that the enclosed mirror was weakly adhered to the tin casing and has fallen off. -Overall, I like this palette. I was blown away by the cuteness, smell, and color selection. But I wasn't blown away by the quality.

This has to be the best shimmerbrick ever! I have peony, beige, rose & bronze. Being NC43 ish I was recommended Bronze which is okay but i prefer corals and pinks so use this occasionally. Beige is too pale and peony is more like a blush as there is no light stripe. I really like rose but this one seems a mix of rose and sandstone. Its a great highlighter. Im going to find out if this is LE and if so buy a back up. edit: so this shimmerbrick has gone down a little as im finding that it Does look too powdery if applied incorrectly. If i really want to use it i use it first and then do eyes andl lips because it all looks too much. As i am nc42/44 or warm natural/honey i find that this really shows up because of the contrast and so if i want to use it daytime i have o go very nude evrywhere else. My favourite shiimerbrick is back tobeing Rose which i have always adored and has always made me look healthy and i can get away with it during the day

Hmm...I dont like this product. Here are my reasons why: -it doesnt replace my concealer because I have dark circles, and only peach based concealers cover those, and this product is a yellow beige. so when I put this one, it brightened my under eye area, very similar to YSL touche eclat, but it doesnt cover my purple undereyes. I would say its a good dupe to touche eclat in number 2 and i would put this product in a brightener category, not skincare and not concealer. -my second issue is that the product is too thick to be rolled, I would rather it came in a tube, brush or liquid doe wand applicator. I cant roll all around the eyes, it dispenses too much product, and it is hard to blend. -if this product was a peach beige, I would have kept it. They need to make another shade for tan/darker skintones. -My final verdict is that this a novelty product, it DOES NOT replace my under eye heavy duty concealer and does not replace my eye serum or my previous caffeine eye roller. I think people that are looking for undereye coverage should consider amazing cosmetics concealer, now this bad boy truly should be called anti dark circle eye product. Only buy this product with in mind that this will brighten your eye orbital area and minimize dark circles in a quicky (you will still have see thru shadowing), so if you are looking for YSL dupe in number two, buy this.
