I bought this after over-highlighting my hair, fearing that I'd weakened it. This shampoo (with it's matching conditioner) actually seemed to dry my hair out even more. You'd think that a product that's supposed to inhibit breakage would help moisturize the hair, but this really didn't at all. In addition, my hair felt like it had an odd "plasticky" coat on it that made it feel heavy. I'm guessing that's from the gelatin. I don't recommend this at all.

I disliked this the first time I attempted to put it on. The bristles on the top half of the brush are way too short to do anything! This results in either minimal mascara application to the lashes on the inner third of the eyelid, or a deposit of product there that's just clumped-on, because there are no bristles to comb it through. It would be a really great brush if this problem were fixed. However, the formula itself doesn't hold up very well. Every time I wore it (I had the waterproof variety and used it for over a month because I hate to throw out new products), it flaked on my face at some point during the day. The problem seemed to get worse when the mascara was a couple of weeks old. I don't recommend this one at all.

I've tried a few other cuticle-removing products, and this is the only one I'd buy again. It made my cuticles easier to push back and felt conditioning, rather than damaging. Some cuticle removers feel like they're dissolving your skin and make you fear for the skin around you nails that you want to keep. This didn't, and it didn't have a wierd chemical smell, either.

I bought this in the Advanced Therapy variety for an extremey low price, and basically, I got what I paid for. Even on not-so-dry summer skin, this did not prove to be a very moisturizing product. With a name like "Advanced Therapy", I expected SOMETHING! If I wanted an ineffective moisturizer, I'd at least choose something that smells amazing. This just didn't deliver.

Eight years later, I'm still mad at myself for dropping almost $30 on this terrible product. I bought it because it was described in a magazine as a mattifier and "skin perfector". It basically felt like a thin layer of chapstick applied to my entire face with a sponge. Over makeup, it ruined whatever I had done. Under makeup, it made concealer slip right off and powder dissolve. The stuff never dried, never "set", as I'd expected it to - it just sat like a balmy, suffocating layer on my face. I swear I could FEEL it clogging my pores. I used it three times, kept it in a drawer for a couple years, and finally gave in and threw it out. I'm surprised they're still making this product.

This powder "veil" is meant to be applied over Bare Escentuals' horribly shiny powder foundation. It not only made my face look chalky and shiny all at once, while it settled into pores, exacerbated lines I never knew I had, and accentuated every little flake of dry skin. It certainly didn't do anything to prevent the awful shine (they call it a "glow", I guess) that comes with using Bare Minerals. I've disliked every Bare Minerals powder product that I've tried, and this is no exception whatsoever.

I got one of these in a pinky-peach hue as part of a gift set. Way too rosy to be a bronzer, I tried to use it as a blush, but...Is it just me, or is loose powder blush totally, ridiculously, laughably impractical? First off, way too much of the stuff gets on the brush, and in "tapping off the excess", you end up wasting a ton of it. Second, it applies unevenly and doesn't blend well. Even after wasting extra minutes furiously blending, I ended up with too much pigment in one place every time I tried to use this stuff (and God, did I TRY). In addition, it was way too shiny and the color seemed to get brighter the longer I wore it. I don't want shiny, bright pinky-orange cheeks. I'm not a cartoon character. I do not recommend this overpriced stuff AT ALL.

This product helped soften my lips, but it didn't "plump" like it claimed to. I did find the product's white color to be a bit of a problem. Why put something white on your lips? I just use it straight out of the shower, about 30 minutes before applying lipstick, and it works well as a nicely moisturizing base. I didn't notice a mint flavor or feel the tingling other reviewers have mentioned (might they have been reviewing Sally Hansen's Lip Grip + Plumper, which looks exactly the same?).

This shampoo kept my hair in good condition without weighing it down (I have fine, straight, highlighted hair with very dry ends). I don't know about the whole "allows you to grow your hair longer" promise, but with daily blow-drying and heat styling, I didn't notice any new breakage. I'd definitely buy this shampoo again.

This stuff simply didn't work. I sprayed it on the roots as directed and blow-dried upside-down as I usually do. It looked fine at first, but after a couple hours of wear, my hair was flatter than normal, and even looked a bit dirty. Unwilling to throw a full bottle of product away, I've re-tried this several times, using different amounts or combining it with other volumizing products. Unfortunately, no amount of tweaking can make this work for me. This hinders volume, it doesn't create it.
