The formula for this mascara is nice. It doesn't seem to flake or clump much. However, the brush makes application difficult. It narrows too much halfway down, and there are nearly no bristles there to coat and separate the lashes at the inner third portion of our eyes (you can see that the bristles are super-short). If the brush was fat with long bristles (at it is on the other end) for it's entire length, it would be easier to apply. The way it is, I've stopped using it.

I tried this because a magazine article raved about it a couple years ago. It smelled nice, and I've liked other Burt's Bees products, so my hopes were high. However, every time I used this gloss, my lips seemed to become even more dry than they'd previously been. The gloss would stay moist for about 10 minutes, and then the dryness would begin. Extreme dryness. I gave it many tries, even just using it overnight (thinking maybe the flavor was causing me to bite it off my lips during waking hours). No such luck. At least it was inexpensive.
