    Revlon Nail Enamel

    Not Good Enough

I've bought this in a few colors on really good sales, but I find that it tends to chip off too quickly - even with a great, trusted topcoat. The drying time is slightly longer than I'd like, especially when multiple coats are needed for good-looking coverage. In addition, the polish has a tendency to thicken in the bottle after a month or two, which makes it pretty much unusable. It's cheap, but I've found cheap polishes that perform better than this - and a big name like Revlon should be able to do better!

    Zoya Nail Polish

    Disappointing

I bought a TON of these polishes without having tried them, because people seem to love them so much. I wish I hadn't! The staying power is crap. I get chips in less than a day using my best topcoat. I've had better luck with the $2 Sinful Colors than this, that costs four times as much. The brushes are skinny, so application time is longer. A lot of the colors (and I bought all seemingly-opaque brights) require 3 coats for solid coverage, and there's NO shine before clear topcoat. If you're not someone who spends time worrying about the ingredients of your nail polish, don't spend the extra cash to try this.

    Nature Made Glow

    No Visible Results

I've taken these vitamins daily for almost a month. I do have some very dry skin in places, and was hopeful that this supplement may help. It didn't. These vitamins likely have some nutritional value when it comes to overall health, but they did not deliver any improvement in the condition of my skin, which is what they're marketed to do. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who's expecting noticeable changes.

  • Freeman Bare Foot Peppermint + Plum Foot Scrub

This is the most effective AND least expensive foot scrub I have used! That's all that needs to be said about it, really. Don't waste your money on anything else.

    Gillette Venus Embrace Razor

    Not at all worth it

I didnt like this razor at all. There's too much material surrounding the blades on the sides (almost 1/4-inch per side), so you end up thinking you've shaved spots that have really just been run over with plastic. It also makes it hard to reach certain spots, especially in the bikini area. This results in a lot of going ba...ck to re-do areas that you thought you'd covered, and a major waste of time in the shower. For the price, this is a huge disappointment. I find it hard to believe that the same brand that came up with one of the best razors for men, the Fusion (get it, ladies!), has put out this sub-par offering for women.

  • Revlon Perfect Heat Curling Iron

    Revlon Perfect Heat Curling Iron

    Stopped working after a week!

I started using this curling iron exactly 7 days ago, and it was trouble from the beginning. The second time I went to turn it on, I had to hit the button 3 times to get the "on" light to light up. This morning, ten minutes after turning it on, I noticed it was barely warm - not hot. So, I unplugged it, plugged it back in, and tried to turn it on again. Nothing. No matter how many times I pushed that "on" button, the little red light would not come on. This curling iron has died after 7 days. I've used many curling irons over the years and have never had one stop working like this (usually it's the lever that gives out after over a year of daily use). Sadly, I don't have the receipt or packaging, so I had to run out and pick up a thirteen-dollar replacement - and you can bet I didn't go with Revlon.

If only it came in more shades!

I bought this shadow in Rich Sable (dark brown), and I absolutely love it. It applies evenly, is heavily pigmented, and dosn't fade throughout the day. I hope Revlon will expand the line, as it only comes in 6 or 7 shades right now. This is a wonderful shadow for a low price!

  • Revlon Super Lustrous The Gloss

This is a fairly thick lipgloss with lots of shine and above-average staying power. I like the sponge-tip wand applicator, as opposed to a brush. It comes in mostly pink shades, but my favorite is Nude Lustre.

    Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Crème

    Effective, but pricey and smelly

This cream really leaves hair soft and shiny, as promised. I like that fact that it isn't drying like silicone-based shine-enhancers. What I don't like about this is the smell. It's not a strong bad smell, but every now and then, while wearing it, I'd get a slight whiff of it in my hair. It just wasn't good - sort of like a faint smell of sour milk mixed with bleach. I take away 2 stars for the scent and 1 star for the high price.

    Avon Nailwear Pro+ Nail Enamel

    Needs too many coats

I've tried this nailpolish in many colors (bought a bunch at once), and I hate it. Too many coats are needed for full color. The shades I bought didn't look sheer and weren't what I'd consider to be light colors, but every single one went on completely see-through. It took three coats of the polish to get even coverage, and I had to wait more than 20 minutes between coats. Additionally, the brush in the polish is too skinny, which is a pain. I don't recommend this at all, no matter how cheap it is.
