This shampoo worked similarly to most inexpensive shampoos that are labeled as "volumizing". It cleansed thoroughly without leaving any residue, but it didn't really do anything to add body. It smelled great, and I have to say it performed pretty much exactly as I expected it to. Styling products are more responsible for building extra body than a shampoo can possibly be.

The advertising for this product made it seem extraordinary, but it felt like a very average conditioner to me. It did not leave my hair super-soft or extra-shiny. In fact, my ends were still pretty dry. It also seemed to leave behind a dull coating that weighed my fine hair down a bit. For dry hair, L'Oreal's VivePro NutriGloss line is a much better option for softness and shine. In fact, that one's so effective, I don't know why they felt the need to introduce this product two years later.

This works ok as a moisturizing shampoo, though I don't think it would do much for extremely dry hair. Strangely, it's not as moisturizing as L'Oreal's VivePro Nutri-Gloss Shampoo, which seems to be marketed to less damaged hair. That one's much better than this.

From what I can tell, all this product did was moisturize. It did not decrease puffiness, as I thought the name "Anti-Fatigue" implied it would. It also caused my waterproof mascara to wear a faint shadow under my eyes when I wore it during the day, despite the use of concealer and powder. So, I used up the entire tube as a night cream, unwilling to simply throw it out. It just really wasn't worth the $12 I paid.

The only thing I like about Bare Escentuals is their brushes. They're wonderful! I use this brush for applying powder over under-eye concealer, and sometimes for highlighting. It's soft and well-shaped. You can FEEL the quality. At the same time, if this hadn't been a gift I wouldn't own it. Bare Escentuals brushes may be great, but they're way too expensive!

University Medical Acne Free Clear Skin Treatments
Not very good...and NOT a replacement for ProActiv!
I tried this three years ago when I couldn't afford to buy ProActiv anymore. I didn't have really bad acne (mostly blackheads and one or two painful zits per month), but I needed an anti-acne product. By comparison, I didn't like this kit at all. The cleanser is more watery and gritty than the ProActiv cleanser. The toner feels like it does nothing, while the ProActiv toner always felt soothing. The repair lotion - which we all know is the most imprtant part of the kit - isn't smooth and doesn't absorb that well. My face seemed to get more shiny than usual throughout the day when using it. And there are teeny, tiny little gritty bits in the lotion, like you'd find in an exfoliating cleanser. What are these doing in a leave-on product? They're not really visible on skin, but still...Anyway, after a month or so of using this, my mild acne seemed unaffected. I don't believe this product did anything to help, and he texture of it's components was too bothersome for me to buy it again. If you've been using ProActiv, and you're looking for something cheaper, AcneFree is not the answer. (As for me, I've had luck with Neutrogena's Acne Stress Control products.)

This is probably my favorite lip product I've ever used. It's the only gloss that truly does last for hours and hours. I'm in customer sevice and am constantly talking at work, and I don't need to reapply this for about 4 hours into my shift. It also feels comfortable on my lips and seems to be pretty moisturizing. It comes in lots of colors that are really flattering. The only not-so-great thing I have to say (as others have said) is that, because this is a thick, sticky gloss when you first apply it, it'll stick to your teeth if you let it get in your mouth. So, be careful not to apply too much and to wipe the insides of your lips!

I love to buy a bunch of these when they're on sale. It's a good shadow for a very econimical price. They apply evenly and don't fade too much throughout the day, and they come in tons of shades. My favorite is Champagne, which I've been using as a browbone highlighter for nearly 10 years.

Used straight, this lotion can be streaky and too strong-smelling. The solution to this problem is to add your regular body moisurizer to it, getting less extreme tanning results each time that you can can blend better, with no streaks and a lighter smell. The lotion contains more DHA than necessary, so diluting it helps a lot. Doing that, you also double the number of applications you get from one bottle, for an exceptional value.

I have sensitive skin that is prone to both extreme dryness and acne, and this soap hasn't seemed to aggravate either problem in the weeks that I've been using it. I wouldn't say "all clear", because it hasn't improved my acne situation, either. But that's not really something I expect a rinse-off product to do. It definitely seems to rinse cleaner than other bar soaps I've used, and no residue is a big plus. It smells like lemon and is pretty big for it's super-cheap price. The only drawback to it (if it even matters), is that it's not as easy to get a lather out of it than most other bars I've tried.
