Primer, Foundation, Setting Powder. That's three steps. This takes just one by buffing this on the skin with a large powder brush, you're set for the day and I do find this impressive in the lasting performance. Now, if your skin is extremely dry, this will accentuate parched skin and may even settle into wrinkles but the trick is to use an emulsion that the skin will absorb and soften the texture and apply this and it will have an airbrush finish with an airy light touch and to give this a dewy look, a tip is to dampen (not soak) the sponge and gently pat it over your finished complexion and it should moisten the overpowdery matte appearance into a more dewy angelic face. However, let's balance the price though. I'm sorry to pull some people out of the floating clouds but at a price like $50.00 a compact and this only lasts a few months, you'll end up splurging more than you'll have to on a luxury but not a definite need of foundation because equal quality of this foundation or alternatives are about half price. The color selection can also be limited. I've found that I'm in between two of the shades they offer and there isn't a combination option so after I tanned a bit one summer, I was pretty much out of luck. C'est la vie, at the best, this is getting a six because I'm back on earth and being realistic.

Feel free to go snorkeling and underwater exploring as this will still make you look fabulous. Often, I find a waterproof mascara that I think I'd like because of the original formula being great but the waterproof version ends up being overwet and doesn't make the lashes as defined as the original. Volume couture is just what it delivers. As the sister mascara, the original, plumps and magnifies lashes root to tip, this does the exact job but adding the properties of being water repellent but if you're sensitive to eye makeup try to wear this sparingly. One difference that I did find is this may flake during the end of the day as this formula does dry out to dehydate the lashes and crumble a bit. Overall, still a glam tool for the drama cinema for the saddest scenes.

These pencils are a steal at these prices ranging around $4.00. They come in many colors so creating an impression comes along with styling with these pencils. They don't smear as other kohl pencils tend to so this is sturdy enough to uphold many lining and blending jobs without worrying about that mess that used to be a pretty shimmery teal and iridescent blue blend. I'd purchase these over and over again especially because they can compliment any look!

Unless you're determined to purchase the deeper shades of these pigments, I wouldn't be too excited applying these eyeshadows on. They're a hit or miss type of deal which can make a consumer feel like a fool and sometimes get lucky. The Storm shade particularly is quite deep, not exactly the rich starry black it appears in the pot but a charcoal black to a medium gray depending on how you apply it. Watch the loose particles! These are a pain to remove even with makeup removers, these will streak onto the face making people look like clowns and abstract art. But the lighter shades that are white, purple, pink and so forth seem to go on sheer and hardly even pigmented and like the Storm, all of these are loosely pressed. Be careful! Unless you have a densely packed brush that can allow the pigment to adhere better, I don't recommend these. On the lighter note though, they can be held together and intensified wet as I've heard from other users. The packaging doesn't impress me at all, in fact- gold and plastic never seemed like an ideal combination to me unless it was a Wells Fargo debit card. If you're really cautious though, these could be an ideal bargain for a medium level pigmented buy, not the best but not the worst either.

The name Colour Surge is kind of an oxymoron for this product considering that there are more mixing medium ingredients than pigment itself. I find making dramatic smokey eyes with this requires a few layers to get a better color payoff but it is a decent price to pay for a higher end up makeup item but the quality should also be up to par to hyperpigmented formulas like MAC. Clinique is known as a natural beauty brand but I expected different from this line and expected it to stand out above all their other cosmetic products.

Although this comes in one more extra shade than the duo, the color selection is very limited and the shades that do come in these trios aren't as flattering as the duos because they seem to come in lighter and mostly plain matte shades. It still comes in a sleek silver case with the convenient brush but I hardly see any color when these are brushed on unless I layer it to dramatize the pigment. I have the shade displayed and the purple doesn't exactly appear purple until I've stroke it on three times so I'm a little disappointed in that aspect.

Chic and subtle, these eyeshadows deliver a medium wash of pigments that are contrasting to create more depth than just a single color eyeshadow, it comes with a partnering darker complimentary tone to accentuate the eyes. I adore this for casual days when my look needs to be more toned down and when I think hyperpigmented eye shadows would be a bit much for the occassion. I personally like Link Mink and Coffee Shop as my all time favorites and everytime the bottom of the pan starts peeking through, I rush for a refill on one of these dainty little sleek things. It comes with a sponge and a brush for on the go touch ups which I believe works better than most plain sponge applicators that come with other eye shadows.

This brow gel isn't quite as impressive as I wanted it to be for the specific reason it almost feels like hair gel when it's applied to the brow area. It feels stiff and I don't exactly love the uncomfortable feeling that my eyebrows are virtually product styled the similar way my mane is. At about twenty dollars, this does nothing more impressive than what a regular untinted chapstick balm does which is another effective way to keep eyebrows groomed and holds any tinting or shaping powder in place. Although one alternative use for this is to hold a natural curl in the lashes without any volumizing, lengthening or texturing effects so some may have a double purpose for this. This still doesn't convince me though to purchase it if my eyebrows were unflattering. This has no shaping properties unless your eyebrows were already pregroomed by removing unwanted hair and have a good shape already, then all this really does is hold it in place, but it doesn't do anything more than that.

While this does the job, it may cause eyelashes to stiffen so hard that applying this along the base of the upper lashes may irritate the eye. This has a steady unfading hold and comes in blue which I love to use for fun and applying a blue tint on top of rich black mascara actually brightens the appearance of the eyes so instead of splurging more for a high end blue mascara you'll just use for accentuating, this does the trick and fits the budget. The brush does have an arch in it which helps push and curl the lashes up vertically, however, this formula is rather drying so I wouldn't use it too frequently for the sake of my eyelashes' health.

The fluid is thin so drying time takes quite a while and if you manage not to blink or even sneeze during this time, lucky for you because this product isn't at par with any other liquid eyeliners I've tried. The brush is thin and has no resistance control so application takes a precise steady hand or you'll end up getting this everywhere and with a formula like so, you even get some product in your eye.
