For my sensitive skin, I found this a bit too strong. After a few hours, I had noticed redness on the spot where I had applied it and did have some irritation while using this product. It does however, after a few days, help a bit with the appearance of cystic acne but inflammation is still there and redness.

After washing my face once with this and I had patted my face dry with the towel, I noticed there was still quite a bit of make up left behind. This is more ideal for the morning when you don't have make up left behind because it doesn't quite break through mascara, eyeliner, and some foundations. I'd suggest something more of a cream cleanser as opposed to this foaming one to get a deeper clean. With residue left behind, that sure doesn't help acne, now does it?

I have pros and cons about this formulation. It can get sticky while drying, therefore, very minimal should be used. I do like how it does give my eyes a quick lift and a light fill to smooth the lines so this is great under makeup and before going out without makeup, it brightens my eye area. Although, I don't see it working long term for me as far as results are concerned. This is a light, easy to dab cream around the eye area and overnight, it has helped me look more awake but I wouldn't consider it a a miracle in a jar. It's just a good handy cream for quick fix ups.

I've left a review for this previously for an older image displayed but St. Ives is a great low price scrub and it's all you really. First of all, it's great for prepping the skin for moisturizers and serums to absorb better and also a great prep for tanning purposes. You don't really need a more expensive scrub because exfoliation is the main purpose. It may, however, dry out combination to dry skin more than it would oily to combination skin so salicylic acids, benzoyl peroxide, or anything else with penetrating chemicals may be avoided post scrubbing because newer skin is exposed as the dead skin cells get sloughed off. The texture provides accessibility to the beads to circulate around the skin so it's great that it's not too thick that the formula won't overpower covering the skin rather than the beads themselves. I recommend this!

For sensitive skin, this is something I wouldn't recommend. Because Clean & Clear does contain fragrance in their products, it may overdry and irritate the skin. My experience with this has been that it would leave my skin dry and a bit flaky after a couple of uses and being a medicated product, not all medicated products suit certain types of skin. So for dry skin, this may not exactly be the right product. I stay away from this in the winter when my skin gets dryer than in other seasons.
