This is bluntly unimpressive. Because my body tends to dry out for warm water during baths and showers, I walked over to this at the store and decided that it may just be what I needed. Incorrect. I wound up having blemishes on my body and it was irritated from the strong fragrance bottled with the soap properties. My body continued to lack the moisture it yearned for even with the usage after usage of this product. I previously used the sensitive skin Dove bars which I felt worked wonders without the extra harsh additives but converting to this lead my body to an uncomfortable state of being.

This product seems to be the culprit to my skin having excess oils mid day as it reflects shine not only in my t-zone but in the cheeks where I'm usually not an oil slick. Blotted with a translucent powder, this ends up being a mask. Used over sunscreen or lotion, this product seems to separate. For over thirty dollars invested in a foundation stick, you'd believe you'd be impressed only to find yourself wondering when you'll find the time to stop by the department store you've purchased this from to exchange it or return it. The company claim this is the most natural foundation they carry yet when I streak this on in different areas, I find it tugging my skin when I need to blend and I can't forget to mention how well the foundation seems to buff into everything my face touches leaving residue on surfaces. Yikes, you may want to avoid this one.

Absolutely pigmented and rich in vibrancy. This is my favorite blush line and although I wish they had more shades because I seem to can't get enough of NARS blushes, these babies come in all sorts of flattering tones. From shimmers, glitters, matte, and sheen, the finishes of these blushes stun beholders as they sculpt and tint a flush healthy colors. In a sleek and chic thin compact, you get quite a bit of product to last you through the seasons and couple of bad breakups. I love blending this on a finish face because just a bit of this completely defines a face. I'm trying to collect as many as I can! The price though is intimidating, the results, however, are drawing me into sweet temptation.

A couple swipes of this and I'm out the door. This is actually one of the mascaras that volumizes lashes but isn't so over dramatic that it delivers the faux extensions appeal some women aim for; this is more of the everyday mascara that brightens the whole look of the face by lifting lashes and elongating them vertically while adding a hint of volume to look more refreshed especially on days you loathe getting out of the sheets to start the day.

While this is self proclaimed long lasting, many women I know and I, myself, beg to differ. While it is true that this product may be waterproof, sweat proof it absolutely isn't. Because this is a soft kohl pencil, it's a gliding ease to apply however don't sneeze or blink too hard or you'll find yourself looking like you've gotten into a fight after too many drinks and slurring. If that isn't enough, it's not smudge proof either so once it mixes with the natural oils in your skin, you may find yourself related to a racoon with the similarity of dark pigmentation around the eyes. There isn't a real need for the sponge tip, this blurs and blends just fine and enough so that it will only last a few minutes before you end up kicking yourself for spending over twenty dollars for this useless pencil.

Unscented, it states but there is still a mild scent that isn't so bothersome that it needs to be avoided. This isn't exactly a maximum hold spray but a lightweight sheer mist that leaves a flexible soft hold that is perfect for my hair when it's styled with curls because it doesn't weigh them down at all. If you use this for volumizing, don't expect wow equivalent results though as this may actually stiffen quite enough at the roots to just make the lift unnatural and can contribute to heavy product build-up on the scalp. Nonetheless, for a price like this, it's something to add to the vanity table for quick touch ups and touchable hold.

Volumizing products seem to either dull my hair finish or leave it so stiff that it looks almost like half a cowlick. This product has surpassed all the qualities I'd want in a formula and more. To begin with, volume looks completely natural, controllable, and set which means I won't be looking at a flat mane at the end of the day. Second, it leaves a sheer film of shine that doesn't scream the obviousness of a hair spray, and best of all the hold stays put without the flaking of product that other hair styling tools do; I sure wouldn't want people thinking I have a dandruff issue when I don't, right? This comes in a gel pump form which dispenses good amounts of product, one or two for shorter lengths, three to four for longer and so forth, and after styled with this, I feel like a rock star or ready to strut the catwalk!

While you attempt to fully close the cover down neatly, this pr oduct puffs itself out into the air and can disperse out of its container so that when you lift the lid, a pile of powder seems to flutter out everywhere. I've tried this over two types of foundations which is a powder and the other, a liquid. Both finishes from this product I felt didn't look so natural and that any dryness seemed to be accentuate as well as settling into any lines. I didn't exactly believe this was the most softest or micromilled powder in the market either so setting makeup with it almost looks done which a translucent powder shouldn't be doing.

This is one of the heat stylers I'd probably stray from if it was my only choice considering the following. If you curl your hair with this, by chance, you may get the ringlets you want but sometimes it gets a bit irritating having to follow your hair in between the raised guides, otherwise you'd end up with crimped hair and unnatural folds and it can turn into a nightmare. I'm a firm believer that curling irons don't need a guide because hair looks more natural that way and this seemed just to hassle anyone trying to fix their hair with it.

My skin is combination oily and comfortable so during the day, regardless of what foundation I'm using, I like to keep my look matte. A pat of this, even with strokes of a brush makes me look pale and had accentuated the dry flakes in my skin I haven't seen before. Although, portable, the look it gives it super matte but completely white until it sets fully into your foundation or blends with your natural skin oils, however, I do find because it is a natural white translucent based powder, it does lighten the complexion a bit after every touch up which may appear unnatural after a while. Just because this carries the Laura Mercier name doesn't mean it is up to par in my standards compared to the rest of their line; there are no color alternatives for this either so it's just this plain white blot powder. Now, for $30.00, you might reconsider your options since there are better translucent powders in the market that are created to blend into your skintone with a corresponding translucent tint, I highly recommend those instead. This is only good for setting makeup the first time, the rest of the day, this is pretty much an inconvenience.
