  • Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss

For a lipgloss fanatic, I had to seriously lay down a review for this and this isn't fantastic or the goddess of lip glosses. While some of them create the prettiest sheens of color I've seen, most of them don't last very long and transfer and rather a bit on the sticky side. I love the scent but I hate that sometimes, I can squeeze the tube and find oils out before the pigment which I find not very attractive. For something that costs more than the average mass retail products alone, I'd suggest a higher type of quality for a lipgloss and one with an applicator indeed so that the oils and pigments can mix if this had to be repackaged because lifting the wand can integrate the formula. But I will admit that I have a fetish for using this if I'm wearing lipstick because these are pigmented more in the tube than application so they won't change the color of my lipstick too much as well as not having to worry about depositing color back into the tube to alter the shade of the gloss.

  • Wet n Wild Eyeliner and Eyebrow Pencil

Fun looks can be created with Wet 'n' Wild pencils because the color possibilities are endless. I don't find that the black eyeliner to be the best eyeliner on the market, however, the pigmented ones are great for making bold fashion statements. There are green metallics and blues that can be blended together; there really are so many if you can find a fully stocked section as I've found these are hardly around in stores in all their colors. It's an even cheaper alternative to the Sephora pencils that I adore so much which comes in even more fabulous colors but for a fast local fix, this would come as the next best thing. I found for some reason that the more diverse colors don't bleed as terribly as the black pencil does itself so they're safer on the lasting side. Go on and grab one yourself, because I've tried a couple of these, I did end up liking them as much as Sephora's but not better than them. On hot, sweaty days though I'd avoid any jumble mix of colorful pencil art drawn by these babies as it may swear and look a bit silly but for some I've found they've stayed the day.

  • Nars Highlighting Blush

    Nars Highlighting Blush

    Starlette's Staple

After spending $42.00 on Dior's Shimmer Palette which is also a highlighter, I found that I was constantly only needing one side which was the side that had a soft beige shimmer and a white translucent sheen. So I went to seek after a highlighter that performed the same way instead of repurchasing another $42.00 palette that would only end up half full again. This was perfect! It's sheen delivers a natural highlighting effect without glitter or messing up the foundation plus this works wonders on almost all complexions. Paler skins may not benefit too much from this because it is golden based, I would recommend a pinker based highlighter for a luminous look. I can also use this as an eyebrow highlighter to my eyeshadows on used on the bridge of my nose swept vertically from between my eyes to the tip creating the illusion of a slimmer nose. I love how versatile this product is and that it's half the price of Dior's palette. It's so multi-function and sleek in its packaging of a thin case with a mirror, however, the best part is that the product is so pigmented even though it delivers a sheer wash, only a little bit of product goes a long way!

  • Victoria's Secret Secret Garden Collection Luxurious Shower Gel

I find this rather pleasant and the aroma of the scent fills up the bathroom while this is steamed in the shower. While it's a subtle substitute to any other fragrance you decide you're too lazy to apply that day, these come in an array of scents that fit the mood or liking. I love how it lathers and cleanses skin well rather than just being another plain hyped product on the department store market that is so because of its perfumed properties or because it is a property of Victoria's Secret; nope, it really is effective. However, if you have sensitive skin, I'd suggest avoiding this as I know of a couple people who found this drying and irritating on their skin because they have eczema and they were itching frantically. This can also be an alternative for bubble bath.

  • Victoria's Secret Secret Garden Collection Hydrating Body Lotion
    4.0

Victoria's Secret Secret Garden Collection Hydrating Body Lotion

Thirsty Skin Needs More Than An Alleged Hydrating VS Lotion

Even though the lotion has a pleasant scent, I find shortcomings in this product as a miss product. First of all, the lotion is a bit more fluid than I like which means that after a while, skin becomes more thirsty again and of course, a lotion with fragrance will definitely need more hydrating properties to make up for any alcohol or dehydrating ingredients in it. This product didn't have that. I also found redness in my skin as this heightened sensitivity post shaving and I usually don't get that reaction with other scented lotions. I'd have to honestly say I disapprove of this product and I'd recommend the body butter or the cream instead for the better value.

  • Victoria's Secret Secret Garden Collection Ultra-Softening Body Butter

My primary disappoint is that this doesn't come in Endless Love, my all time classic favorite scent from Victoria's Secret. This is a decent body butter, while I've had better such as Body Shop's body butters, this isn't too bad either. It's nourishing to the skin, however I don't find that it moisturizes as long as a body butter should, it does fade within a couple hours. I also feel as if the texture is too much like butter that I have to dig my nails in there to get product instead of just swiping my fingers over it's surface to pick up a decent amount. The jar is a pleasant little thing to have around the bathroom but this isn't one of the main purchases I decided to go with when I reach for the Victoria's Secret Garden line.

  • Victoria's Secret Secret Garden Collection Refreshing Body Mist

I agree with another reviewer that the packaging has gone slightly unappealing but the same quality of the scent remains. These last for a couple of hours and are pleasantly light and refreshing plus it can be cooling and soothing for the skin. I favorite Love Spell, Endless Love, and Pure Seduction a lot but mostly Endless Love. Because the mist is so micronized, I can spritz this as a room fragrance because it disperses so widely and sheerly and for vehicles. I love the amount for the price, it's fairly reasonable and it lasts quite a while. The Victoria's Secret name somehow appeals to people as sexy alone but the scents are alluring. With seductive names like "Love Spell," "Strawberries and Champagne," "Endless Love," it's a treat to have.

  • Victoria's Secret So Sexy Volumizing Shampoo for Fine Hair

The scent of the So Sexy perfume lingers in the shower while you're lathering up your mane. But it's not all about the whole "So Sexy" name that makes you feel like it's special, it's the Victoria's Secret label which creates a big disappointment for me. For almost ten dollars a bottle, I expected a salon quality product but there isn't any high end product factors in here except the wafting So Sexy eau de toilette aroma. This product was formulated for limp hair which puzzles me because it doesn't volumize nor make strands anymore vivacious that it normally is. Although my hair was easy brush after this, I find that I can do just about the same with any mass retailed product such as L'Oreal or Herbal Essences that also have perfumed hair care. Is this a must have? Absolutely not. It's just a luxury to have with ordinary qualities; but if you know that it doesn't perform as well as it should and you still decide it needs to be in your shower because it's Victoria's Secret, you may need to check with a therapist for insecurity issues or simply buy sexy lingerie from them instead, it may make you feel better than owning this shampoo and conditioner set.

  • Victoria's Secret Secret Garden Collection Mini Bag
    8.0

Victoria's Secret Secret Garden Collection Mini Bag

No Need to Fork Over That $100 Gift Card

These make the perfect gifts at a reasonable price. Three deluxe sizes of their fragrance items in one handbag make it an instant deal and with a handbag, you can opt to skip the giftbag and hand this over instead. While the handbag isn't the most appealing piece of accessory in the world, the deal is what's inside. Three middle size items that are larger than travel sizes give you a reason to consider this for occasions especially because they come in two popular scents: Love Spell and Pure Seduction. I must have given about four of these out to my teenage cousins last year for the holidays and they like them a lot.

  • Victoria's Secret Secret Garden Collection Eau de Toilette Spray

This is the perfect perfume for everyday or for those dates with the hot stud you met at Starbucks the other day. I love how the scent lingers on for a couple hours, unfortunately, not the whole day as reapplication is needed. This is basically the more concentrated formula of their body spray and varies in scent which I love and at a low price for an eau de toilette, it's an affordable perfume to collect. The size is definitely perfect for purses, the car, or in the makeup bag for the instant scent pickup. My favorite scents happen to be Love Spell, Endless Love, and Pure Seduction. Because these disperse a fine mist and can be layered on in scent to make it either subtle or more prominent, you can use these also as a quick air freshener for wherever you are such as your bed sheets or the car.
