It's more than just an ordinary comb, it's a great way to tame a messy mane without damaging it so much. Stylists usually have to remind me not to brush my long hair so much because split ends will dominate and I'll end up looking like a lion with so much frizz because brushes take a toll on hair strength. I bought one of these at an inexpensive four dollars and found that my hair looked smoother and more healthier over time just by using a wide toothed comb in replacement of a brush but round brushes are great for volumizing so I still need one regardless. This comb is durable and was able to survive a few chewing sessions with a toddler running around the house unlike my other combs that are missing teeth and are bent out of shape. The rounded teeth are easier on the scalp because sharper edges tend to scratch and irritate me. It's nifty how one little tool can do so much good.

When I was a little girl, I remember loving these and when I mean little, I mean literally in elementary school and loving the different scents, colors, and flavors it came in. I actually can recall a couple of my friends having a few of their own as well. While someone posted that it was her five year old's lipstick, I think I share the same notions when I was younger believing this was my form of glam source without getting into my mother's rouge like cosmetics. I feel these balms don't moisturize as well as other medicated or regular balms do but these sure please me with tempting scents and flavors and they're great to use as a base under lipstick to smooth out any flaking skin and creates a smoother application for lipstick. Worn alone, these seem to fade away within a few hours of wear but I'd keep repurchasing them because they're an inexpensive way to look polished with the added cutesy factors.

Wow, like a quote from a song "Back in the days when I was young, I'm not a kid anymore but some days I sit and wish I was a kid again." Haha, this definitely reminds me of my fun days of experimental makeup probably getting into junior high and I wanted to play with my mother's outdated makeup since she was a bit old fashioned then and wanted everything to look like rouge. I used to buy these and collect a couple of them. Did they last long? Nope. Did they smell pleasant? Yes. It was an inexpensive fix to my overall appearance of simplicity. It's too bad Bonne Bell cancels out a lot of their products, some products should stick around for those who enjoy them and this was one I would have kept if I were them. I may even use it today.

These used to be one of my favorite lip glosses, especially because they remind me so much of Stila's but less expensive and easier to purchase since the nearest Sephora right now is about thirty minutes from me and a drug store is just a couple minutes away. Somehow, I never see these at all anymore but I loved how they didn't feel too sticky but that they also delivered a sheer tint to lips and can look good for quite a while. It's slim and I believe one of the first few lip glosses to embrace the twist-brush design. Neat little thing, where did it go?

I can go on forever about how ProActiv is selling itself by hype and celebrity endorsements but let's face the real truth. ProActiv has the same acne fighting ingredients as your local supermarket creams, cleansers, lotions, and what not. The cleanser was very drying to me. It left my face feeling very tight and somewhat irritated all together. The wash has benzoyl peroxide in it as well as the repairing lotion which in my opinion really wasn't necessary to put the same ingredients in two different products to enhance its effectiveness; a cleanser should always be gentle and non-irritating especially because it is the foundation to a skincare routine.

Open the bottle and you'll instantly smell the chemicals. Benzoyl peroxide never smells appealing but this bottle particularly reminded me of a strong Alka-Seltzer product or TheraFlu because it reeks of a medicine cabinet. I may be over emphasizing the aggravation of the scent but the results were just as unappealing. First of all, I experienced heightened irritation to my skin and constant redness as well as dryness. I found that irritation lead to even more acne as stress resulted and almost a burning feeling whenever I applied this. After I stopped using this, redness was diminished and my skin was relieved. Not only did this product proved itself ineffective in my condition but that it has the same ingredient that fights acne as other items found on the shelves of Wal-Mart, Rite Aid, CVS, Target, and other drug and grocery stores. Is there really a need to pay a higher price for something that is just marketed through media and endorsed by celebrities? Not really.

Unfortunately, this was the trial size that came with my ProActiv set that was the only product that seemed to help with my blemishes as a teenager. Although, it's been years since those days, I still can recall the strong smell of sulfur and that this mask is a lot like clay, thick and creamy, hard when dry. Is it worth paying $20.00 for this face mask though? Perhaps not as there are other items that have similar ingredients out there for a fraction of the price but let me explain the benefits it offered me. First of all, this dried up any excess oil on my face and cleansed the dirt out of my pores as well as acting as an exfoliant and removed blackheads. This is a multi-tasking item that sure had worked for me. When I ran out of the product though, I went on a search for something similar and indeed, I found it for only fifteen percent of the price. I really don't feel like paying for the marketing and other factors that may increase the price tag of this product so I won't be repurchasing since I get the same treatment elsewhere for less! I'm no cheapskate but let's face it, there is somewhat of an inconvenience to this as well because they're sold only in certain vending machines, department stores, and authorized retailers/kiosks but why bother when the drugstore or a local mass merchant is just a few minutes away or even down the street?

ThermaSilk has been repackaged and converted into Sun Silk which used to just be a foreign product line but now also a US line. This has got to be upsetting some people out there because this line was absolutely phenomenal to certain people who heat styled. This particularly was my favorite because not only did it help protect hair from heat, it made my hair appear healthier when used with heat and also left it feeling soft, manageable and bouncy. Some detanglers leave my hair feeling a little weighed down but this product, I liked. SunSilk did come out with an alternative in their line which I have yet to try that is also a detangler meant especially for heat styling. This lightweight formula though is great because it delivers a fine mist to the hair and it's a one step process to having smoother hair in a couple of seconds. It's a shame this is off the market though.

The title does sound odd but true. Just don't take it into the wrong context. First of all the blush brush this came with is hardly useful as I've found that bristles were rough and not dense enough to collect a good amount of color, but why bother ranting about that when most applicators that come with products aren't the best quality anyway, right? The casing itself isnt too bad, hardly durable though as this will crack or chip if it's dropped and it means less shock protection for the makeup itself. The blush duo hardly did anything for me. I'd have to apply this layer upon layer to get anything to show from the pinks. Deeper skintones usually need richer colors but in my case, I'm a light medium skinned lady. Which means the medium pink shades should compliment it but it went on a bit streaky and uneven and in a few hours, it disappeared on me not that it even mattered since I felt the finished result was mediocre and not in the least bit flattering. My own review is basically saying that this product did not impress me; I'd perhaps even be better off using the lighter pinks as a highlighter since it is used sparingly and more effective that way if I had to put the rest of the palette to use.

Hooray! One more first to add to the list! This product seems innovative and can be essential if it works right for you. In my honest opinion? They must have spent way more money on the packaging rather than the product itself. The eyeliner was over creamy which meant it smudged and didn't stay put all day plus it feathered and faded. What happened? Sonia Kashuk cosmetics are usually pretty well developed. The mascara was better, it wasn't waterproof, but it was a few steps ahead of the eyeliner. The mascara was a bit runny in formulation but it did the job of lengthening and volumizing in a subtle manner though drying seemed to take longer than usual. Don't go expecting to have eyelashes like Marilyn Monroe's with this, this is more just for everyday tinting and primping. The eyeliner twists up and dispenses a bit of product and mascara just has a twisting cap which is the eyeliner itself attached to the cap and out comes the semi-thin eyeshadow brush. The final verdict? Lose it. For the poor quality I felt this product was made of, you can get a better value purchasing a separate mascara and eyeliner that is tailored to your needs and of excellence. Eight dollars will purchase you a decent eyeliner and mascara at a retail food and drug store like Target where this is from and give you much more product than what you've paid for this. As cute and dainty this product would look inside a drawer or makeup bag and you may be thinking it'll save a tad bit of hassle for the two in one feature, you may want to reconsider. Don't take my word for it; try it out yourself, of course. Everyone has a different opinion.
