Sally Hansen French Manicure Nail Guides

It's More Like A Nail Polish Leaking Dam

These french manicure guides sure know how to make a woman blow steam as you stick these adhesive strip guides on and find that your nail polish somehow will soak through the guide or the guides won't adhere well enough to the nail to ensure a precise detailed line. My perfect solution? Bandages. No joke, bandages that are the standard size and are rounded at the edges which mimick the perfect curve to the edge of the nail yet they stick well enough to allow a barrier for the polish and you'll get better french manicures out of that than these guides. I've found better guides out in the store far better than these so save your energy and some money and my suggestion is to choose something else!

Estee Lauder Lip Conditioner SPF 15

    The Millionaire's Balm Stick

This review seems kind of silly because if I wasn't mistakened, this is basically a balm in fancy tubing - a brilliant marketing strategy. For those of you who may want to feel more feminine but hate the upkeep of cosmetics and looking too dolled up that you feel like a clown, this is the perfect addition to your everyday purse, clutch, cosmetic bag, and such because it is packaged elegantly with the traditional Estee Lauder lipstick case but you get the benefit of a translucent moisturizing balm with a hint of SPF. Personally, I'll choose a Carmex, Burt's Bees, or a simple Chapstick over this but if someone gave this to me or if it came with a gift with purchase, I'd be delighted to have it. But is it worth the splurge? More than likely not unless you're so into the gold casing and fancy packaging or simply need the boost to feel like more lady-like after a long day kickboxing at the gym. I will admit though, this is the best base for keeping those drying Estee Lauder lipsticks lasting and keeping them from making your lips look scathed.

    Estee Lauder All-Day Lipstick

    That Looks Like It Hurts!

I remember my mother having a couple of these and also remembered the way her lips would look so dry and chapped after a while and she'd just reapply this again only leaving it looking less appealing. Then I was just playing around with her makeup and tested this out like a little girl who wanted to play dress up but I was actually old enough by then to know about makeup and what I liked and this certainly did a number on my lips. The skin had somewhat peeled off from overdrying and I could run my fingers gently across my lip and found it felt rough. I never worn this lipstick again after that nor did I find the colors very suitable on me, I'd rather purchase from Estee Lauder's sister companies like MAC which carries tons of shades and their lipsticks last as well as moisturize better than these or even Cliniques as their shades draw more attention and appeal in my own opinion.

Ta-Da! Presto! As Seen On...Grandma's Medicine Cabinet?

I used to leave this product on my bathroom counter untouched. Then one day I was watching a talk show segment and found the multiple uses of this so being curious, I tried those tips out. This works to depuff and help reduce circles underneath the eyes and prevent wrinkles some say, well I've found that my eye area has brightened slightly and while not immensely, this is still worth having around since eye creams can get up as high as a couple hundred bucks depending on what type and label you purchase. Next tip, a lip balm - tested, it absolutely does the job. Another tip, a cracked and dry skin healer some said. Ok, so the method was to apply this liberally all over your feet and put socks on and what do you know, the next morning my feet felt softer. Ok, so basically this wrapped up having three or more products in one jar and without even going further and explaining more uses that I've found on the internet, this product is a different product than everything else because it has the least complex structure of ingredients and is a basic formulation that can be used universally saving you trips to the store and stress of finding and testing out other products. Now, I won't guarantee that it will replace some of the ones that you love but it's just an awesome alternative or suggestion to keep one around just in case you, yourself finds a use for it and I bet you'll discover at least one.

    Jergens Skin Firming Toning Moisturizer

Blah, Blah, Blah and So Forth

Products tend to claim that they can change something drastically and in this case, I can prove them incorrect. First of all, this lacked the lasting moisturizer my skin needed in the winter especially where I usually apply it which are my legs. I apply this to my legs and minutes later, I feel that it hasn't been taken care of. I'm in need of lotion or some sort of emulisifying product because my legs not only seem to itch from this but that it feels uncomfortable and still dry. I didn't like the strong fragrance content of this either because that is certainly not a circumstance why I would buy a product that hypes up claims of firming, not that I need too much of it, but I thought it would do something more other than just play the role of an ordinary lotion at a slightly higher selling price. I still have about 3/4 of the bottle left and it's about to be tossed and by the time you guys have read this, it probably has been disposed in the receptacle. I've gotten firmer skin from running around doing errands compared to this bottle.

    Sexy Hair Big Volume Shampoo

This Isn't Rare Treasure, If You Ask Me

Let's just say this shampoo doesn't impresse me. For a salon product, this doesn't do much but well, shampoo. Some shampoos make styling easier or hair more manageable but I've found that if I use this with any other conditioner that my hair is dull and somewhat lifeless unless I use a volumizing conditioner or a glossing one, then there's more of a difference but that doesn't mean this had been part of the reason why it's done. Skip, pass, I'm over it. It left my hair thirsty and it had my scalp dried which almost never happens to me. The one exception? It's got a great scent.

  • Sexy Hair Big Volume Conditioner

A lot of styling products promise volume but fail to walk their talk and this is one that definitely goes the distance but to a certain length. After blow drying, I've found that "oomph" my hair needed, an extra lift, and I loved it. But perhaps I didn't take into consideration of the factors that may affect the length of time the volume will actually last because I stepped out and it went limp. I loved that I could brush or comb my hair though post showering and could hardly snag anything which meant it moisturized my stands well. I like the volume without the build up that some conditioners leave when they are formulated to style your hair a certain way and I also loved the scent because it is a salon product without the salon odor, more like a slight perfume scent. This is one of the conditioners I'd consider buying when I'm restocking my hygiene supplies and alternative to a couple other conditioners when I really need more volume and as long as I use a couple styling products to make my upkeep easier, this does the job quite well.

    Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine Conditioner

    Biased Product, Haha, Somewhat

This product leaves me on a rocking boat so I'm not sure whether I love it or not even after quite a few uses. It does what it a conditioner does by making hair manageable but shine? That's the tricky part. On certain days, I noticed that my hair could be a little more glossier so I believe this product isn't exactly up to my par of what a shine product should accomplish and on other days, I believe that I shouldn't expect much from a conditioner that you do have to rinse out anyway and that the best products to create sheen are the actual styling products. This delivers some radiance to hair if it is already healthy but if your hair is already dried and frizzy, you may find that this product won't do much and that's where I'm iffy about my rating therefore I gave it a five. Because when I had a new fresh color on my mane, this didn't do much but leave it parched but after a couple weeks, this did help me maintain a slight healthier look when my hair's condition was restored somewhat. There's my two cents, so would I repurchase this? Nope, there are better products out in the market that are more consistant no matter what state my hair is in.

    Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo

    Drenched in Moisture

This shampoo wasn't drying and that's actually a perfect feature to have when my hair has a new fresh color because it seems the most fragile within the next couple days until it has restored a bit. I use this frequently and it does the job of smoothing hair instead of participating in the frizz factory but one glitch is that it doesn't rinse off the residue completely. I've found that even after I wash there is still some build up and I can tell by the way my roots are weighed down. Overall, this is a great shampoo to use as an alternate along with a clarifying shampoo because they can strip hair of color and shine, this will help you maintain that aspect of haircare when you absolutely need to shampoo every single day because I do.

    Dove Advanced Care Therapy Conditioner

    Conditions Unconditionally

Don't apply this around your roots because it will weigh hair down and one piece of advice for you would be - BUILD UP. This will cause build up and an oily scalp for some because a couple girlfriends and I had used this for a while but I've found that it makes hair beautifully manageable by applying it from your middle sections down to your roots instead of all over; that way you get volume, frizz easing, and shine. I loved how silky my hair was after this and the benefit of paying less than five dollars a bottle that outshined my twenty eight dollar conditioner that I've been using for quite some time. The texture is thick and creamy so it adheres well to the cuticles of my hair without sliding off and being uneffective, it clings on and nourishes until it washes off. Overall, this product does wonders!
