I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree with just about everybody on here. I was not impressed at all by this stuff, pretty much the only thing it has going for it is the price and the yummy smell. Other than that, I might as well have not even been using a shave cream, because this stuff didn't protect my skin from the razor at all. I could literally feel my razor giving me razor burn, and after my shower I had the marks to prove it. Not sure if it's a dry skin/Colorado winter thing or what, but I tossed it after giving it a try twice and went back to my old shave stuff.

I was looking for a mascara that would give a shot of volume but not drastically so and not look overdone. It's essential to me that my mascara wear well, since I wear contacts and my eyes are really easily irritated. Aaaand...this mascara didn't cut it. The price is awesome. But for what you get, it's a few bucks I could have saved. When you apply this, it globs on SUPER thick and it's hard to fix, because if you try to spread it with the wand you just put more on. When I wore it, I ended up pinching my lashes between my fingers and pulling to remove all the excess that got on there. And it runs a little too, by the end of the day I had raccoon eyes a little bit. Not loving this mascara.

These lotions are pretty nice, but I find a lot of the scents to be really overpowering, to the point where I wouldn't regularly use them as an all-over lotion. They also feel a teensy bit sticky when you apply them, and also when you consider the price, it just doesn't make sense to use these as my daily after shower lotion. I'm pretty sure I would exude fragrance from every pore, which I'm not into. But, there are a couple scents I do really like, and the Sunshine Forever one is my new fave. If I do use it as an after shower lotion, I mix it with my unscented Aveeno so the scent isn't so much, and it also lasts longer.

I really wanted to like this shower gel, and the fragrance is divine. But, I found it to be too drying, especially for the winter in Colorado when my skin needs a whole lot of extra TLC. I might try the lotion, because I love this line of products (even though they're super hard to find anymore), but this cleanser just didn't cut it for me.

This is the first conventional body wash I have used in a while, I've been more into natural-type products lately but I was strapped for cash and ran out of soap! This has a nice fragrance and cleanses without drying me out, but doesn't do a whole lot to moisturize either. But I do like that it rinses off without feeling like it left anything behind. For the price, I'm pleased. I can't vouch for ingredient safety just because I haven't found that information. And the fragrance kind of lingers and this body wash is now what my bathroom smells like all the time. Otherwise, this stuff is aight.

I'll start by saying that this mascara, in and of itself, is decent. But, it's nothing that I can't get for way cheaper at a drugstore. And Tarte really hypes itself on being a more natural-based beauty company, but this mascara scores a 5 (on a certain product safety website that Total Beauty won't let me mention here) which is really mediocre. Lots of other, cheaper, just as effective mascaras score a 5 or better. Finally, I've had a couple times where this gave me raccoon eyes by the end of the day, which I know it's not waterproof, but I have other non-waterproof mascaras that don't do that. This one also tends to irritate my eyes, which isn't difficult to do since I wear hard contacts, but since this is supposedly more "natural" I was hoping it wouldn't. Overall, not impressed by this mascara, and I'm glad I got it as part of a sample pack rather than dropping $18 for it.

I absolutely love this lipstick. It goes on super smooth and moisturizing and gives a bit of color, without "looking" like a lipstick, which rocks because I'm really not a lipstick girl. It has a yummy sweet scent that is not overwhelming. My only gripe is that they discontinued it! And the gloss in the tube by the same name is absolutely no replacement.

I bought one of these, actually I think I ended up buying two of them, after trying and LOVING the lipstick-type version of this product. Annnnd, I gave it more than a college try, and just could not get used to the consistency. Like the editor reviewer said, the consistency is like glue, it's NOT smooth or glossy when it goes on, and it doesn't moisturize or absorb in at all. My lips tend to be kind of dry, and this stuff turns into clumps on my lips and is really disgusting. I'm so mad that they dc'd the lipstick kind, because I have absolutely no complaints about that one. This, however, I pretty much have nothing but complaints.

I live in Colorado where the winters will wreak havoc on your hands. I bought a mini version of this in the grapefruit-whatever kind (like in the picture), and it smells AMAZING. It also moisturizes decently for the time being, but not incredibly so, and only until you wash your hands. To me, it's no different than your dime-a-dozen body lotion in terms of moisturizing, but the scent is awesome. Not sure it would be worth the price for me in the future though, because for me, yummy fragrance isn't everything when it comes to $.

This shampoo is not too nourishing, because it stripped everything out of my hair. I really, really wanted to love it, because I'm all about using more natural products these days. But, it pretty much thrashed my hair. And the matching conditioner did nothing to condition, because after showering and once my hair was dry, it would be like static city if it got rubbed up against anything at all, like changing my shirt. Good thing my husband wasn't around, cuz he would have asked where the light socket was that needs a bulb because I must have just accidentally stuck my finger in it. After like 2 uses, this got passed on to a friend of mine who I thought it might work for.
