  • Aquolina Pink Sugar Eau de Toilette Spray

Got a sample of Pink Sugar. It's like a slightly more grown up version of Bath and Body Work's Warm Vanilla Sugar body mist (haven't tried the BBW edt). Pink Sugar is a nice vanilla-y scent that has some depth. Aquolina describes the top notes as being Bergamot, Orange, Raspberry and Fig Leaf. They say the middle notes are Licorice Blossom, Lily, Barbe-a-papa, Red fruits and Strawberry; the base notes are Vanilla, Candy, Musk, Tonka and Sandalwood. It has pretty decent lasting power. I like it--it's fun and girly and young and sweet! I really only smell Bergamot and citrus at the beginning, combined w/Vanilla, and then it mostly fades into Vanilla w/some musk and a tiny tiny bit of sandalwood. It's not super super sophisticated but its pleasant. :) Would consider purchasing, although I'll have to compare it to the BBW Warm Vanilla Sugar EDT. They might be similar enough that you could save some money getting the BBW EDT.

Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Makeup Lip Gloss

An alright product but nothing exciting.

I own a mini lipgloss in Bling, which is a clear lipgloss with glitter and microglitter. PROS: Like the brush type of applicator. Glossy. Fairly moisturizing. Fairly decent lasting power. CONS: Brush applicator gets splayed in all directions pretty easily. The bristles are coming out. Smells plasticky-vanilla. IMO, the "color" isn't special enough to justify the price. And the bigger bits of glitter are a little too "middle schoolish" for my taste. Will not repurchase this color (Bling) but would consider purchasing other colors. The quality of the applicator and the gloss should be much higher, given the somewhat expensive price tag.

  • Wet n Wild Ultimate Expressions Eyeshadow Palette

Wet n Wild Ultimate Expressions Eyeshadow Palette

One of the best buys in makeup!

This is an amazing product. It is so inexpensive (around $5), but the quality and pigmentation of the eyeshadows are amazing. The texture is so smooth, you'd think it came from a much more expensive brand, except that the packaging screams drugstore! :) The wear is good, and it is an absolutely amazing value for the money. I cannot speak highly enough about this palette--buy it in every color, but especially Sandcastle and Paradise Cove!!

  • M.A.C. Fluidline

    M.A.C. Fluidline

One of my HOLY GRAIL products!

I love MAC Fluidlines! When I first started using gel/cream eyeliners, I was in love with Stila Smudgepots, with their gorgeous creamy texture. However, Stila has a lamentable lack of color options. So I decided to give MAC a try, after hearing so much hype about their Fluidlines. WOW. I am in love with these! While I still love Stila Smudgepots, MAC Fluidlines come in a beautiful array of colors (I wish they'd stop discontinuing shades though!), are fairly affordable ($15), and are great quality. The product is so very smooth, lasts all day without smudging or disappearing. My only complaint is I wish they were just a smidge more pigmented (but they are gels afterall!).

  • Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat

    Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat

    Very disappointing.

This product was very disappointing. I usually use Sally Hansen InstaDri topcoat, but forgot it at home when I went on vacation. This product was BOGOF, and since Revlon is a fairly high quality brand, I decided to give it a try. Big mistake. This product was not quick to dry at all. Even after 20 minutes, my nail polish was still very very soft. Additionally, my nailpolish (also Revlon) chipped like crazy within a day or two! Do not waste your money on this product.

  • L'Occitane Honey & Lemon Eau de Toilette

I bought this on sale at the Las Vegas Premium Outlets for about $20, but it's worth it even at full price. The fragrance is mostly honey, with very slight lemon scents. It's a very foody, delicious and comforting scent. The quality is good, the packaging is lovely (I absolutely love the honeycomb detail on the glass bottle), it has good length of wear. I love this scent and strongly recommend it to ladies looking for a slightly more sophisticated gourmand scent.

    Flirt! Squeeze Me Lip Gloss

    Not my favorite.

Worth $11? I don't think so. I own this product in Plum Delicious, and some other color. The scents are strong and kind of unpleasant. The color is a little blotchy when applied. The tube doesn't contain very much product. It is only so-so in terms of moisturizing. For a pigmented, moisturizing gloss, get something else (I prefer L'Oreal Colour Juice lip gloss, but just about any drugstore lipgloss probably rivals this in quality).

  • L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Gloss
    5.0

    L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Gloss

A mediocre product, especially for the price.

The product quality was pretty average. I owned this product in "Soft Coral" which actually was a nearly sheer peach with some shimmer. With a name like "Colour Riche", you would expect the product to be fairly pigmented. It had a decent length of wear, so-so packaging, an odd smell, and isn't worth almost $8, in my opinion. If you can find some L'Oreal Colour Juice tubes, buy those instead.

  • Ardell Brow & Lash Growth Accelerator

I was so excited to try this product, and have been searching for it everywhere! I'd heard really good things about it on another makeup website, so I figured for $4 it was worth a try. I gave up on this product after a week. While this product did not make my eyelashes fall out, and may even have maintained my lashes, it caused my eyelids to itch terribly, and my eyes were producing the little crusties. Sorry--it's gross to say, but even worse when it's happening to your eyes. Oh well. I haven't thrown it away yet, but I should.

  • Avon SuperFULL Mascara

    Avon SuperFULL Mascara

    It's just okay.

I bought this product because I love the type of brush it comes with (the plastic kind). However, the color is not very intense. I have Avon SuperFULL mascara in Brown and it's more of a brown-grey color. Additionally, the product is a little clumpy when applied. Save your money for something better (like Avon SuperSHOCK, or something from the drugstore).
