  • CoverGirl Clean Makeup Remover for Eyes & Lips

I bought this because my other makeup remover was too big to go in my carry-on. It does an okay job. I don't mind the smell but the bottle does tend to get a little messy. It does leave oily residue so I have to wash my face afterwards (although I need to do that nightly anyways!), Additionally, it makes your vision a little blurry when it gets in your eyes. I do NOT use this or any makeup remover on my lips--too weird. A decent value, but think I'll stick w/Neutrogena's product.

  • Lancome Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover

I received this as part of a GWP, and I like this eye makeup remover a lot. It has nice packaging, does a decent job of removing eye makeup, isn't too greasy, and doesn't burn my eyes. However, it's a little spendy, and Neutrogena's Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover works just as well for me but for much less $$! Same with Clinique's.

  • Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets

There are more expensive versions and less expensive versions, so overall, it's pretty decently priced. I tend not to use them that often, except in oily skin emergencies, but they're good to have on hand for daily use too! Doesn't keep you form getting oily later, but does help for momentary relief of shine. They work better than throwing on some powder which can end up a cakey mess, although they can smudge your makeup a little. I like the oddly plasticky paper sheets, and how well they absorb oil. Unfortunately, because my skin is really oily, I usually need to use two. The packaging is decent but not fantastic. I'm hoping to find a primer that takes care of the face shine, but until then, I'll probably restock these oil absorbing sheets if I run out.

  • Clinique Perfectly Real Compact Makeup
    7.0

    Clinique Perfectly Real Compact Makeup

    Just okay in my opinion.

--Coverage: Medium. Will not cover acne scars, but for unblemished skin, will give good coverage. --Length of wear: Not very long on oily skin. Maybe a couple of hours? --Packaging: Prefer to use brushes instead of sponges. Otherwise, good cute sturdy packaging! --Color: It's alright on me. --Value: A so-so value. --Skin issues: Did not cause my oily acne-prone skin to have any issues. Overall, I'm not in love with this powder, although I like it a lot. Will probably buy a drugstore powder instead, or stick with my liquid foundations.

  • L'Oreal Paris RevitaLift Complete Lotion SPF 15

I received this product (L'Oreal Paris Advanced RevitaLift Complete Lotion SPF 15) free as part of a L'Oreal promotion at a mall in North Carolina. When I first received this product, my skin was oily and not really in need of a moisturizer. However, because I was worried about preventing wrinkles (even though I'm 23), and because I needed a face sunscreen that wasn't heavy, I decided to try it out. L'Oreal RevitaLift is not a great product for oily skin because it is a little heavy, but on the plus side, it did not cause me to break out, and feels a TINY bit lighter than some regular sunscreens for face. At the time, I just used it when I had a random dry spot on my otherwise oily face and wanted to use something that wouldn't cause my skin to break out. Since I'm currently on Accutane, my face has dried out like crazy and I thought I'd give this product another shot. It smells okay but not great, has a nice look and consistency, and seems to be a decent moisturizer. Because my skin is so terribly dry, I applied it generously to my face. It did sting/itch a little bit, which I don't like. But worst part was that it didn't truly sink into my skin--when I touched my face, the lotion balls up and rolls off!! Gross. I washed it off right away. Overall, this isn't a product worth paying for, and I'm glad I didn't. I will probably try and apply only a superthin layer so I don't have to throw it away... but it might not be worth the effort.

  • Avon Dramatic Focus Kohl Eye Liner

This product received about 4 out of 5 stars on the Avon site, and so I thought that I would give it a try. It cost me $3.49, and doesn't have a lot of product, but have heard it's good for lining your waterline and since it's from Avon, I figured it was a safe way to try out kohl cone eyeliner (which I've been DYING to try!) PROS: Fun new way to apply liner. Decent color. Does apply decently to the waterline. CONS: Does not stay on the waterline for more than an hour or two. Even when applied onto the lower lid skin and not the waterline, it left me with raccoon eyes. Will not repurchase.

  • TIGI S-Factor Dream Drops

PROS: This product makes your hair nice and shiny! Pleasant, slightly fruity scent. Product lasts awhile b/c you don't need very much. CONS: I don't care for the packaging--the hole is only a little bigger than the glass tip, so the oil tends to get around the outside of the packaging :( The shine isn't super long lasting and doesn't seem to change how dry your hair really is though. Blowouts do not last as long w/this product for me. Overall, I'll look for a similarly priced product with better packaging. (Paul Mitchell Super Skinny serum is at least $5 cheaper, has better packaging and is a little better, Or Frederick Fekkai Glossing Cream).

  • Bath & Body Works Signature Collection Eau de Toilette Brown Sugar & Fig

This is a decent scent--a more grown up version of Warm Vanilla Sugar, in my opinion. It adds some musky and organic/green elements to the vanilla scent. Decent lasting power. Pretty good value. And the bottle is pretty! While I don't regret purchasing it, and am glad I bought it at the time, I feel that I've 'outgrown' this fragrance and am looking for something a little more sophisticated.

  • Gucci Envy Eau de Parfum

Love the packaging and neon yellow-green color of the perfume. Very modern. Fresh and green smelling, with slightly soapy smell. However, I really do not care for the scent. :(

  • EcoTools Bamboo Angled Eyeliner Brush

This is a great brush that is well made, not prickly or scratchy or hard. The price is decent, especially for the quality of brush. I really like that it's eco friendly. But most importantly, it gets the job done! It's way better than the non-angled eyeliner brush I have from smashbox (which is also more difficult to clean because smashbox's brush has white bristles). I like that it's angled too--easy to apply eyeliner and gets just the right sized line! I will definitely buy this brush again if I need to repurchase, and will recommend it to friends!
