I have been using Nars the multiple in the shades South beach and Copacabana for contouring and highlighting my face and I absolutely love these little sticks! South beach is a beautiful brown bronze color with a hint of shimmer that does not show through in a thick manner on the face (which I prefer.) Just swatching the stick reminds me of summer; it's a beautiful shimmery summery bronze that feels light on the skin but blends easily with my fingertips or my stippling brush. I love using South beach on the areas that I contour-the two lines on my cheekbones, the sides of my nose, chin, and a little on each side of my temples. After blending it in with my stippling brush I have a beautiful contour that doesn't look harsh or fake looking. When I am wearing a shirt that shows alot of my decollete I like using it on my collarbone area so when the sun hits it it will have a pretty shimmer to it. Also, I can put it on my shoulders if my shirt shows alot of my arms. After contouring, I take the shade Copacabana and apply down the bridge of my nose, my cupids bow, and my cheekbones next to where I apply my blush. Copacabana is a beautiful white, icy highlight that blends just like South beach. It's light, blends well, and just gives me the perfect amount of highlight to the areas that I want. I especially love the fact that when I apply to my cupids bow it doesn't feel like I have alot of fluid product around my lip area which feels weird. I think these are two of the best products to have in the summertime as they are great multitaskers-hence the name the Multiple! The product is a point 14 ounce so it can pretty much fit anywhere; I've never used it as a lip color but it definitely can be used as that and they are both great colors to use as eye shadows! I just adore this product by Nars- if you want to save some money and purchase one product that does it all give this Multiple a shot!

I feel like this has been a holy grail hair product for many women for a long time, including me. Everything this leave-in conditioner says it does it does; I mainly use it as a detangler after I get out of the shower and my hair is still wet. I let it soak into my hair and than use a wide tooth comb and comb through my hair; it is so easy to get through with this product! No tugging or losing clumps of hair! This leave-in is also repair split ends, add shine, create silkiness, keep color from fading, and seal and control frizz. I literally feel as if this does all of those things. I tend to have split ends no matter how little heat I use, no matter what products I use for my hair, and no matter how gentle I am with my hair. I believe when I get my haircut the hairdressers thin my hair out (without me asking for it) and it has caused alot of damage with my hair. However, this formula is gentle on my hair and I use it every time I was my hair (every other day.) It does not weigh my hair down, does not make my hair look or feel greasy, and I love using it with my hair oil of choice-right now my Morrocanoil. I have come to except the fact that better quality hair products are pricier but the $18 price tag for 4 ounces really isn't that bad to me as I don't go through it too quickly because I don't shampoo everyday. I received a sample size from a family member and I love filling it from the bigger one when I am scheduled to travel. One of the added perks of this leave-in aside from the fact that it's already a 10 is the smell! It's so heavenly! It's such a clean, luxurious smell; it makes me excited to style my hair! If you have never used any It's a 10 product I highly recommend starting with this one first-it's sure to please!

I first read about this gloss in Shape magazine and was curious to see what it actually did. I have had my hair color treated before last year and haven't done anything to it with color or lightener since, however I wanted to try this because it said in the magazine that this would help brighten up your hair color and I was excited to give it a shot! Upon finding the John Frieda color collection at Ulta I was a bit confused trying to figure out which gloss "shade" I would be; there was a box that said for warm brunettes and another box that said for cool brunettes. I know what each of these terms mean but was laughing because I never really considered whether I was a warm brunette or cool brunette. I ended up looking at the actual color selection at the colors on the boxes and choosing the cool brunettes because my actual hair color seemed closed to 2N and that correlated with cool brunettes (kind of dumb to do but I needed quick thinking and it seemed to work). I purchased this on sale for $11.99 (yay I love sales) and couldn't wait to get home and use it. I followed the directions on the box and after shampooing and conditioning my hair, squeezed out the excess water, put a quarter-sized amount in my hand and worked it in from root to ends. I obviously used a few more dollops as I have hair almost to the middle of my back and a quarter size wouldn't really do anything. I left it on for 3 minutes and rinsed it as usual. The box says to wash your hands after using it and be careful in the shower because it started getting on my white shower and I quickly used water to get it to come off. I loved the fact that after the shower I put my hair in a WHITE towel and after realizing how stupid this was, saw that it hadn't stained it at all. The fine print on the box which I LOVE says Ammonia & peroxide-free. Not a permanent hair color. Will not lift or lighten hair color. Will not damage hair. Safe for all hair types. I love this gloss- I didn't want anything that was associated with color because I want to let my natural hair and color get hydrated, brightened, and grow out! After putting in hair oil and combing through, I applied the usual hair products I do and let it air dry and was so happy to see how much more vibrant my brunette hair looked! It looked shinier and like my virgin hair! I love the fact that this product can be used even after I haven't color treated my hair in a year. The box says it will banish in-between color so if you haven't been able to get to the salon I would try this out; you can use it weekly (yay) and it is in no way damaging to your hair. I am ADDICTED to this gloss and have loved John Frieda products since I was in high school. It's a 6 fl ounce size for under $15 and you only use it weekly so you can definitely get away with going longer before hitting the salon. I have no plans to do anything to my hair but love the fact that it benefits my hair and adds shine and brightens it! Yay!

The reason I rated this product an 8 is because yes my hair does feel nourished after using this mask but it always does after I use a mask. My hair seems to get dry and breaks easily because of the fact that it's a curly wavy texture and I usually use heat on it once a week but my hair just always seems dry. I love using weekly masks to give some hydration to my hair and brighten up the color. I received this as a deluxe sample from Ulta or Sephora for purchasing some products and was excited to try it as other Living Proof products have been working well for me. The package was a 1 ounce size and the container says it's-strand healing, weightlessly repairing, and softness restoring. I definitely wouldn't say it healed my strands; I have split ends that are very apparent even after I use this mask. I do agree with the claim that it is a weightless formula because after I rinse it out my hair feels voluminous and not weighed down at all. I would say it's pretty good with creating softness to my hair because after it's been combed through it's pretty darn soft! The formula is a very thick consistency but is easy to distribute throughout my hair; I start at the ends, go to mid shaft, than barely use any at my roots because I know that my hair's natural oils will help hydrate that area. I than put it in a soft bun to let it penetrate for about an hour, but you can leave it on as short as 5 minutes, according to the package. Most masks say to use it weekly but this package says you can use it 1-2 times weekly which I like better. As with all Living Proof products-the smell is AMAZING. Whenever I smell LP products I always feel it has a very "peppery" smell to it...I don't know why because I don't like pepper but this smell is addicting. This mask runs at $42 for an 8 ounce size which is pretty standard for LP, however, I would rather purchase my FAVORITE hair mask of all time-L'real Paris Advanced haircare total repair 5 damage erasing balm for $5.99, and than get a bunch of other goodies for $42. I believe that mask works 10X better and is a quarter of the price.

I STILL don't know how I feel about this product and have had it and have used it for about a month. Everyone was raving about this eye liner when it first came out and for some reason I was skeptical but I finally purchased it in a kit with the they're real mascara (which I love) and the little remover and am somewhat disappointed. The concept is pretty cool but the liner itself just doesn't work! The tip of the applicator is nice for precision and the actual formula of the liner is great-super black and if you're genius enough to apply it perfectly it looks beautiful, but if you're an average chick like me who doesn't it goes really bad really quick. First thing that annoys me about this is after you twist it and have a tiny bit ready to apply to your lid and you push on your actual lid, it breaks right off. So right off the bat I am unintentionally wasting product. Secondly, it absolutely stays where you put it whether by accident or intentionally and there has already been countless times where my hand spazzes out and the liner is put on the worst part of my eye ever; forget trying to remove it either because it's not going anywhere. There goes my eye makeup look and everyone thinks I have a black eye if I even attempt to remove it cover it up. I guess that's a really good thing if you're a eye makeup pro or a really bad thing if you're average at makeup like myself. It's weird that benefit says this is a gel-liner because it feels like a really soft kohl liner. I don't know, there is something about this liner that I can't pinpoint that just doesn't do anything for me. I'm sorry it's not at all specific but with the fact that I love the they're real mascara I had high hopes for this liner but was disappointed.

I purchased this during Ulta's sale for $25 instead of the usual $40 and am so happy I did! I have been using a few different Philosophy products for a few years now and every time I try a new product in their line I fall in love again. I have never tried their makeup and since they had a promotion I figured why not. The first thing I love about this foundation is that it is part of the miracle worker line which is an anti-aging line that I already love, and this is the same formula they use in this foundation. Also, it has an SPF 30 which is great as I wear this everyday and summer has finally came! I have not used a pump foundation in a long time and was super excited to see that this was a pump in a glass bottle-it makes it feel like more of a luxury foundation! The directions say to shake well, then gently pump to dispense product; I shake it than apply to the back of my hand and use my foundation brush to blot onto the areas of my face that I want to blend it out on. The first few times I squeezed two pumps and realized very quickly it was wayyy too much. Do one full pump and depending on how much coverage you want, that should be plenty for your entire face. I typically don't like full coverage foundations because my only skin concern is redness which can usually be covered by bb or cc creams but this stuff is great! It's a thick formula that feels so smooth going on and I always forget I even wear foundation because of how lightweight it feels. On the side of the box there are a few reasons of why I will love it; visibily takes up to 5 years off your complexion-agree. Helps to improve radiance and tone, even after you take it off**-I definitely agree with this because since I've been wearing this and than taking my makeup off at night, my skin looks beautiful without anything on! It's an all-day, natural-looking coverage*-agree, it hydrates and revitalizes skin-agree, helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pores-agree especially with my pores, and weightless formula won't settle into fine lines-agree as it is so weightless and has such a smooth appearance on my skin. I adore this foundation as a full coverage foundation that feels like a bb or cc cream. I'm so glad I gave this a try, as soon as I run out I am going to pray there is another promotion on it and purchase it again!

Maybelline New York Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer
Love this concealer!!
I saw this in a friend's makeup bag and asked her what she thought about it and she used up the entire thing and was just hoarding the bottle because she loved it so much; I decided to go out and buy myself one as I always battle dark circles under my eyes and have to end up buying high end concealers that really hurt my wallet. I LOVEE this concealer!! The bottle says it's an instant age rewind eraser of dark circles AND treatment/concealer. So many claims that I was super excited to try out! I purchased this in the shade medium as most makeup in medium shades seems best for my dark brown skin. I was a little apprehensive about the applicator as it's like a spongy porous thing that can quickly hold way too much product and end up a giant mess so when you turn the knob to make the concealer come out, don't get trigger happy and keep winding it or you will have liquid everywhere. A few twists does the trick and I always apply concealer under my eyes in the triangle fashion and blend and this concealer gets rid of my horrible dark circles with just a little bit of product. The formula is smooth and doesn't feel super heavy but actually covers what I want it to without making me feel like I have a pound of concealer on. I haven't really known what to look for when it says age rewind but I suppose if you're hiding dark circles you're going back in time! The bottle says it has goji berry and haloxyl; after having looked up what haloxyl is I discovered it is an ingredient that helps reduce the appearance of broken capillaries and can also help thicken the skin under the eye area which in turn causes less dark circles and thicker more beautiful skin. The goji berry is supposed to help visibly improve skin's condition and radiance so I would assume that that would help brighten up the eye area. Whatever these ingredients do they are working! I love Maybelline products and this is one of their newer ones that I adore! It's definitely a holy grail for me!

I received this from a friend that was doing spring cleaning and fell in love with the highlighter side; I was super disappointed in the pencil part as it doesn't draw at all, even pushing down super hard which just ends up hurting my eyebrows and eyes and when I sharpen it and try to draw with it the color is very chalky I guess you could say and is not at all good for filling in detail. I have never even used this side to fill in my brows because it doesn't work at all. This pencil is like the evil twin and the super awesome twin that everyone loves; the highlighting side is amazing! I love the fact that the highlighting product goes on smooth and doesn't tug in my sensitive eyebrow area. I only put a few strokes right underneath my arch area and use my fingers to just dab it in but as soon as I put it on it's light an instant lift to my brows; hence the name push up bra :) I always compare one brow with the highlighter applied on it and the other brow with none on and the highlighted side looks like I just came back from having a brow lift! It's super easy to sharpen if you have the 2 sized sharpener and I've used this everyday for almost a year and have plenty left. I only rated it an 8 because as I said the brow pencil side is absolutely awful and is the first NYX product that I wasn't 100 percent pleased with. Minus the brow pencil side, this is definitely a 10 product!

This has been my favorite bronzer since I received this in a deluxe sample kit from Sephora. I have used this point 14 oz size for a year straight and STILL have product left; I contour with it and use it on my décolleté and STILL have not run out! Anyways, the first thing I noticed about this bronzer is of course, the smell. It smells like the best chocolate I've ever smelled in my life! No matter how much I smell this smell I still sniff the compact before I apply it to my face. I think this is the perfect bronzer for my specific skin tone- I have a dark brown complexion and feel like this contours wonderfully against my skin tone. I dip my stippling brush into the powder, swirl, and follow the lines on my face where you typically apply bronzer to contour. Than I use my contour brush and blend out the line so it appears more natural looking. I also use my eye shadow blending brush and apply the chocolate soleil along the sides of my nose to create that narrower nose I desire. Than I dip my brush back into the powder and apply diagonally over my eyebrows into my hairline and also blend it into my chin area. This bronzer does not appear too dark for my skin, blends so easily, and doesn't create an orangey fake bronze that many bronzers do. Depending on the kind of shirt I'm wearing I will also apply this to my décolleté to make my neck look a bit slimmer. I cannot rave enough about how much I love this bronzer; I've used many before but this always wins my vote. Not to mention the fact that Too Faced has some of the prettiest and most feminine packaging out of all cosmetics lines, it makes me want to keep buying! I love Too Faced products and have been using them since I first starting using and collecting makeup, and this is one of my favorites! High end bronzers do run about $30+ but what do you expect? This bronzer does exactly what I need it to and lasts forever, and it smells like heaven!!

I purchased a Sephora deluxe sample kit where you can try a bunch of their products in smaller sizes and if you love them you can go around and buy them in full sizes. I absolutely love the shade of this blush; I've never used any other colors from this collection however the color that came in the kit-memorable, is amazing. I've been using this blush every single day for almost a year in a deluxe sample and although I do see tin, I still have so much left!! In the tin it's a beautiful pink with subtle shimmer with this really pretty leaf like design on the top of it before you start to use it. When I dip my brush into it and take some product out, I tap once and blend the product on the apples of my cheeks. It gives me rosy cheeks without looking like I went crazy with the blush. I love the fact that I can put this on in the morning during my usual makeup routine and if I'm doing something the same evening I can just reapply a little more to kind of touch it up; if I don't it still looks great and lasts all day long. I think this blush is also a great price at $28 because I've used my deluxe size (which is only point 05 ounces) everyday for almost a year and still have so much product left; I can't imagine how long the point 2 oz size would last! I have other taste products that I adore and this is one of my favorites for sure; it really does last for 12+ hours!
