I have used many different Redken products and am never disappointed; the curvaceous line they have is another excellent line they have for my curly waves that conditions my curls without weighing them down. It's definitely best to use a line all together as the companies always say you see better results all together. I have been using this reactivating spray the second day after it's been washed to do exactly that: reactivate my curls without having to wash my hair all over again, and do all the necessary steps it takes me to get my curls. The second day after my hair has been washed and styled I use a comb and just softly comb through my hair so I do not mess up my hair. Anyone with various curls know that the moment curly hair is brushed through it turns into a giant lion's mane of frizziness and is such a nightmare to tame. I spray mid shaft to ends and scrunch all of my hair to let my hair become kind of damp but only so that I know the hair is being penetrated with the spray. I absolutely love the smell of this spray; it's like a beachy smell but still smells like the signature curvaceous line I love! Love love love!

Ugghhh! I was introduced to this little beauty by a great friend that said she was addicted to this spray. Of course I went out and bought it and started using it...I am equally as obsessed! I first used this after having shampooed and blow dried my hair and was going to use my back comb to tease my crown area and finish the look with this hairspray. After having teased each section and brushing it through a little bit I spray each section with this finishing spray and the pieces aren't moving! I finish the look by spraying all of the teased areas and flip my head and spray on the other side to add volume to the rest of my hair. The bottle says that there is Fibralock technology that locks style strand by strand and I believe it; every time I spray my hair the hair does not move. If I lift my hair up and spray it a little bit it's not going anywhere. Just like the bottle says it has a fan spray that gives your hair a back combing effect without even having to back comb. I love this spray so much; it does everything it says it does and does not feel heavy on my hair or sticky. If I am feeling lazy and just want to use dry shampoo to wash my hair I can build up this spray without it looking greasy or dirty after the second day; I love the fact that it's build able and still gives me so much volume and fullness. If you're looking for a strong holding finishing spray the bottle says 3 out of 5 but I really believe it's like a 4 or 5 out of 5, that's how excellent the hold is on this spray. Depending on where you buy it the price is unbelievable at around $4 a pop; how can I not be in love!? I am almost done with the bottle of course but as soon as I run out I'm going to purchase more; this is definitely a holy grail hair product for me. I'm so happy with the Advanced haircare line that L'oreal Paris came out with, I'm obsessed with their products!! 10 out of 10!

I received this Moroccanoil sample treatment and the lighter version at a hair show that I attended and I absolutely love it! First thing I noticed about this oil is the pleasant smell; I can't really describe it but it's very light and vanillay smelling in my opinion. The actual formula has a yellowish tinge to it and having overused it the first few times I use so little but it does the job. I take about a half of a pinky nail amount, rub it around in my hands and distribute it throughout my hair, focusing on my ends and mid shaft. I tend to avoid my roots as I don't need extra oil on my scalp. I like to use this after I get out of the shower when my hair is still wet and I haven't combed it yet; I also like using this after my hair has been straightened and I just want to hit my roots to get rid of flyaways and the ends to seal up the beginnings of split ends. I looked up the price and saw that the 3 point 4 oz bottle runs at $43 which is pricey to me, however I use this oil so sparingly that I could see this bottle lasting me 6+ months. I really don't mind spending more on hair products when I know they actually work and they're so concentrated that a little goes a long way; it makes the price worth it. I definitely noticed that it cut down on my blow dry time when I DO blow dry my hair which was about once a week during the winter but during the summer I am going to try to avoid heat tools as much as possible. I would recommend this hair oil everyday or when your hair needs extra love. I love Moroccanoil!

Ahhh I love this styling spray!! I have received a bunch of Living proof samples from Sephora and love them however upon looking up prices I felt like Living Proof products were out of my price range. A family member gave me a bunch of products that didn't work for her and this was one of them and I was super excited to try it!! The bottle has many claims-stops frizz. period. weightlessly blocks humidity, smooths without buildup, no heavy silicones or oils. The main claims I was worried about was that it stops frizz and blocks humidity. So far this summer has been sticky and having spent part of it in Texas, I was praying this spray would work!! I haven't really blow dried my hair much this summer as I have wanted to grow it out and notice that the more heat I put on it the quicker it seems to start splitting. I had to work it in a low bun everyday for work so having it down and out of an elastic always feels great. However, after getting out of the shower and putting some mousse on it and scrunching it I spray my hair from ends to lightly on the root to keep the humidity from frizzing it up. The product is not sticky on my hair and does not cause it to be weighed down. When I do blow dry my hair and do or do not use a flat iron after I spray this all over my hair and flip my head and spray a bunch on the back side of my hair as well. It gives my hair body and versatility as I flip my hair from one side to the other throughout the day. I love this hairspray!! It is not a heavy formula, actually keeps the humidity from penetrating my hair, and keeps my hair styled all day. If I use a comb, brush, or back comb through my hair it brushes out no problem without feeling cakey or heavy from product. I'm super glad I didn't pay for this as it was given to me, but when I do run out (which will be soon) and I want to use this with the Living proof shampoo and conditioner I received, I will strongly consider purchasing this. The only downside of the price is I will go through it VERY quickly. I was given this spray about 3 weeks ago and have barely any left!

I've been using this eyebrow pencil for a year now and have repurchased multiple times. NYX products are my favorite because they are inexpensive makeup products that do just as well as the high end products, sometimes better. I always purchase the color dark brown because I have naturally dark eyebrows that appear almost black and this color seems to look most natural on my eyebrows. This pencil is super inexpensive, running at about $5 depending on what store you buy from; I tend to purchase NYX from Ulta as I like to take advantage of their rewards program and they always seem to have a buy one get one half off promotion as well. I always apply a coat of NYX eyebrow wax to the brows to keep my crazy hairs in the same spot all day and follow with the pencil. Anyways, this pencil has a built in comb through applicator and I use this brush first to kind of brush my brows where I want them to go. Than I use the other side which is the actual pencil and turn it to show just a tiny bit of the pencil. The pencil is smooth going on and does not tug my brows like some pencils I've used have. I use light strokes on the thicker part of my brows and once I get to my arch I apply even softer all the way until the end of my tail. My arch and tail tend to be sparse so I try to fill in those areas just enough so they don't look caked on or fake. I again use the brush to comb through my brows and occasionally use some eyebrow gel to brush through as a way to seal it all in. Voila! Perfectly natural filled in brows for under $10!

This is my new favorite product right now!! I use this as a highlighter on my cheekbones, nose, cupid's bow, and chin and am in LOVE with this product!! I would assume it's called fusion because you can use each color separately or swirl your brush in every color to fuse the colors together. I purchased the soft lights in the color Baked stardust and love all the colors it has; it's a little confusing to say every color of brown it comes with but I'll try to explain it without sounding redundant; it comes with an ivory, brownish color, nude, brownish nude, and a darker brown that I combine together with my highlighting brush and apply to my cheekbones from the inside corner to the outside of my apples, up the bridge of my nose, my cupids bow, and my chin. These shades do have a shimmer to them but they look so beautiful on and do not have that cheap looking shimmer that almost looks like glitter; it's a beautiful sun kissed shimmer that gives me fake sun goddess look all day. A little goes a long way I've learned so I just take the brush, swirl it around the pan once, and use that for my entire face. It is a pricier highlight at $32, however I believe I've gotten my moneys worth because I can use this everyday during the summer and especially on vacations to the beach and transition this to winter by just applying to my cheekbones. I LOVEEE this product and as soon as I run out I'm going to purchase another one...I'm already seeing tin!

I received this as my birthday gift from Ulta and am pretty darn impressed with it. I have never used Calvin Klein makeup so I was a bit skeptical as I only wear Calvin Klein clothes and didn't think they would have equally awesome makeup. I love the sleek packaging of this mascara, it's just a basic black bottom with a smooth white lid that is labelled ck on it. On my first use I opened the top and noticed this mascara has my FAVORITE kind of brush head. It's a hard tipped applicator with the hard bristles that pull each of my lashes apart and evenly apply mascara to each one. I would just say be careful when putting on mascara that has an applicator like that because I have poked myself a few times because it is rough and it does NOT feel good. I always take my time with these kinds of mascaras and make it a point to hit each of my lashes because the bristles pull each lash apart and coat each lash with super black mascara. After one coat on my top and bottom lashes I have volume, there is zero clumpiness, and they are super dark..Just the way I like them. I love the versatility of being able to turn the knob at the top to voluminous versus more defined for everyday; when I am going out at night or somewhere on the weekend I will do about 2-3 coats just to get that falsies look. This is a very wet mascara so I do not have to continuously dip my brush into the tube to get more product; once out of the tube does the job for both eyes. At $18 a tube, I'd say this is a pretty good price for mascara that gives me everything I want in a mascara, and I'm pleasantly surprised with my first impression of ck one makeup :) I can see myself purchasing this mascara as a less expensive high end mascara for date nights and weekends.

I loveee Philosophy products and have been in love with Philosophy Purity cleanser and the 3 in 1's some time. I read an article on Total Beauty rating this as one of the top rated firming lotions and purchased this right away believing that it would work. This was such a waste of $37 it's not even funny!! I do love the Amazing Grace scent and collection which is why I rated this a 2 but other wise the claim that this lotion makes to "firm" is totally a lie. I have been applying this to my arms, stomach and abdomen and butt/hip area and back of legs for about 4 weeks now at least once a day after a shower and at night before bed. I also work out 5 times a week and alternate between running and strength days. This has done NOTHING for firming or tightening up those areas whatsoever. I have continuously checked and tried to see if I felt a noticeable difference or saw a change when I take pictures but there is nothing. My skin feels soft but ALL moisturizers make my skin soft! I am sooo maddd I can't even explain! I can't believe I spent $37 on this bottle of lotion to find out it doesn't even work. Thank goodness Ulta allows returns or exchanges otherwise I would be out $37 AND all for an overpriced bottle of lotion. I have been having better luck with a $5 bottle of Eucerin than this bottle by Philosophy!!! I purchased some Soap&Glory today that I will be trying to see how that works as I've read great reviews on it...hopefully it's not a disappointment like this was. Save your money and DO NOT buy this lotion for firming effects; you will see none! If you're okay with paying $37 for great smelling lotion that keeps skin moisturized this is a great choice, but that's it! :(

NYX cosmetics is my favorite makeup line out there for a few reasons- the products are inexpensive, the pigmentation is out of control awesome, and they have every color you can think of. The slim lip liners they have are no disappointment. I purchased the color Dolly Pink which is a a beautiful Barbie pink color that i wanted to be able to wear under a new lip stain I bought from Sephora and also I like to use it as a lipstick and apply it all over my lips and put clear gloss over because it's such a beautiful color already. The liner is soft going on, stays on after I put on balm and whatever color it is I want. I can get away with using it about 5 times before it needs to be sharpened and wears beautifully with all colors I have. I tend to purchase pinks because they are so feminine and pink is my favorite color. Also, I have a medium tan skin color and I receive alot of compliments on wearing pink lips. I love pairing this with my new Japonesque lipstick. I prefer to stick to less expensive lip liners because I go through them frequently and use it on my entire lip. How can i feel guilty when they bad boys are only $3.50 a pop?! Most of the time Ulta has buy one get one half off promotions on these too and you can use their coupons on them!! There are so many different colors to choose from (as always with NYX) so I would say that is the only bad thing about them; however as I said they're so cheap who cares!? I LOVEEE NYX so much and these liners are such great treats!!

I have used Pond's products (mostly the cold cream) and absolutely love them. I found the Luminous Clean line some time ago and was first drawn to the cream cleanser. I have purchased the cleansing cloths and finally decided to review them. I love the fact that they are such a great deal at the drugstore or Target. I paid $5.99 for them at Walgreens but usually they have coupons off the price and buy one get one half off. The pack comes with 30 towelettes however there was a bonus and it came with 5 additional towelettes in a small package for travel. I'll be using those this weekend while I travel. Anyways, the smell is so pleasant; very feminine and clean smelling so the name is very fitting. The towelettes themselves have little grooves in them which I suppose is to penetrate the skin and really get in there and remove the dirt. They are very gentle on my skin and don't burn like some cleansing cloths I've used have and really get the dirt and makeup off my face. I normally use cloths before I use my Clarisonic to just have less makeup that gets on my brushhead after and these take most of the makeup off. Also, these are great for keeping in your gym bag after a work out if you are going somewhere directly after and don't want to look all sweaty and red. One big thing I noticed going along with the burning I've felt with some cloths is when I am using them around my eye area (I wear contacts), they do not burn or cause my eye area to feel inflamed or uncomfortable; many products claim to be safe for contact lens wearers and are not! These wipes are some of my favorite cleansing wipes that I've tried along with Neutrogena and Aveeno. For the price and quality, I will continue to repurchase them.
