My boyfriend asked me to buy this for him as a Christmas present and I was happy to oblige. This bar costs $15 but it is large. The smell is distinctively "man". It is nice and not too overpowering but nothing crazy special. My boyfriend planned on using this as a treat every week or so in the shower, but he liked it so much he began using it during every shower. He said that it makes his skin feel nice and feels good when he uses it. The reason we have to give it less than 10 stars is that after just one month of use (this was a late Christmas present) the bar is almost gone. My boyfriend obviously enjoyed using this, but he would not fork over $15 for a bar of soap that, despite its size doesn't last more than one month. Perhaps I will get this for him again as a treat, since I know he likes it and wouldn't get it for himself.

A self tanner that does not streak or look orange on my pale skin! I have had several bad experiences with fake tan, but after reading and hearing such glowing reviews for Xen Tan, I decided to buy a bottle for myself. The lotion glides on easily and has a much appreciated tint to it that acts as a guide when applying. The scent is vanilla, but it mostly just smells sweet. As the tan activates you will get that ever familiar self-tanner smell, but I didn't find it overpowering. I applied this for the first time at night and I was amazed that when I woke up that I had a very subtle wash of color on my legs. Since I was weary of streaks and orangeness I applied a very thin coat. Since the results are actually natural, I know I can build up my tan with this, without it looking orange and obvious. I apply this straight with my hands and just wash them immediately after. It does not stain my hands or come off on my clothes or sheets. The results are meant to last a week and I would say that is fairly accurate. Because I apply such a thin coat, this seems to last more like four to five days on my legs and that takes into account that I exfoliate and shave my legs about 5 times a week. For a darker color, I apply this one more time within that week so the color can build upon itself. This product will be a staple for me in the spring and summer months when I am wearing skirts and shorts a lot. At $39, this isn't cheap, but it is more reasonably priced than the Clarins and Estee Lauder tanners that I have previously purchased. Plus this works so much better than those! I will definitely be repurchasing this amazing self tanner. If you are pale and have had issues with self tanners, give Xen Tan a try.

I received a bottle of this in a beauty subscription box. With a name like Perfect Cleansing Wash it better be great. Also, a full size bottle of this (just under 7 ounces) costs $52. That is steep for a cleanser. I have used this alone in the morning and with my Clarisonic at night and I do like it. It claims to be fragrance free but it does have a very light scent to it. It reminds me of the scent of fresh baked sweet bread, which is amazing. This cleanser is effective at removing my makeup and making my face feel clean without being stripped. However, I have a lot of other cleanser options that do this and cost less than $52. I would be willing to pay that amount for a cleanser, but only if it provided some amazing and noticeable benefits to my skin. I appreciate that this is gentle enough for sensitive skins and that it works well on its own and with the Clarisonic, but I would rather spend my money on something that is just as good for less money.

The Body Shop makes some great bar soaps. Among all their scents though, I love the Satsuma the most. It is light and refreshing but rich and decadent at the same time. I have dry skin, so I could never use this as a body soap. I keep this in my bathroom and use it as a hand soap. I much prefer this in the liquid form because it is more convenient and more strong smelling, but the bar soap is quite nice as well. These last forever as hand soaps, even when used multiple times a day.

Although I prefer not to use facial wipes to remove my makeup, they are nice to have on hand for extra lazy evenings. I got a free pack of these and have been liking them when I use them. These have a light smell that goes away after a few minutes which is nice. I find that they aren't as effective as the Neutrogena wipes at removing all of my makeup. However, these are gentle and I appreciate the light fragrance. Some makeup wipes can sting my face, but these don't at all. These are reminiscent of the Yes to Blueberries makeup wipes, but they aren't as strong smelling and they cost less money. Still, if I were to buy a full size package of wipes, I would probably get the Neutrogena ones because they are better at removing makeup.

I try not to use facial towelettes if I can help it, but it is nice to have some on hand for those evenings that you just can't be bothered. What stood out to be about these is they actually feel soft against my skin. I have used towelettes from a few other brands and these have definitely been the softest. I like the Blueberry scent but I think it is too strong. I usually use face wipes when I'm at my boyfriend's and he always complains about the smell. I'd prefer it if these were just unscented all together, especially to avoid any potential irritation. I probably wouldn't repurchase these because they are essentially the same thing as a baby wipe, except more expensive. However, as far as dedicated face wipes go, these are some of the better ones.

The concept of this is great - a product that will moisturize and prime your delicate under eye area so your concealer products will go on smoothly and last all day. Unfortunately, after using this several times, I cannot tell that it makes any difference whatsoever on the wear or the extent of wear of my under eye makeup. The packaging and consistency of the product is nice. It is easy to squeeze out exactly what you want and the thick, yet spreadable lotion is easy to apply. One time, the product burned my eyes but that was my fault for applying too close to my eyes. Just a word of caution. Since this is meant to be used during the day, under makeup, I wish it had an SPF in it, like an eye cream might. Checking myself in the mirror throughout the day at work, I noticed the same amount of light creasing I tend to get from my under eye concealer without using the primer. It is nothing crazy, but I expected that since I used a product specifically meant to stop this, that I would not have any creasing at all. Since this has less skincare benefits than most typical eye creams boast, I would say you should save the $29 that this costs and apply it toward a good eye cream (with SPF) that you know will work well under makeup. This extra step doesn't add anything special or beneficial to my makeup routine.

I had my eye on this for a long time before I bought it. Each time I went to Sephora, they were out of testers. Once I was finally able to swatch the colors, I opted for color 10 (light blonde) even though I have medium brown hair and brows. The color is still perfectly dark for me and would probably be far too dark for any actual blondes. For me, this is the PERFECT brow product. Color 10 is a cool toned ash brown which is great because far too many brow products are too warm toned. The consistency of this is different from anything else I have used. It is a cream that goes on easily and lasts ALL DAY. A little product goes a long way too. I squeeze a tiny amount on my hand and apply with a synthetic angled brow brush. You will need to work fairly quickly once you apply this because once it sets, it will stay put. After I get the shape right, I quickly brush through with a lash brush. This provides the perfect balance of brow enhancement with a natural look. You could build up the color if you want it more intense too. I love knowing that no matter what time of the day, or how much I have inadvertently touched my face, that my eyebrows will look perfect. I would definitely recommend going to a store and swatching the colors or find a detailed review with swatches on a blog somewhere before you purchase. Once you get the right color, you will be amazed by this awesome and unique brow product!

I got a full size of this eye cream with a set around Christmas time. This is the eye cream version of Lancome's Bienfait moisturizer, which is wonderful. It contains SPF 28 making this great for daytime. I suffer from dark circles and when I bought the set I asked the Lancome lady if this cream would do anything to help my under eye circles or puffiness. She admitted that this cream doesn't do anything but moisturize the eye area and provide some protection from the sun. I appreciated her honesty. Too many eye creams make false claims. This does work very well to moisturize the eye area for daytime. I apply this right after my moisturizer. It blends very easily and sinks into the skin well. This works well under makeup too. I love that this has an SPF in it because so many eye creams meant for daytime still don't have that and being fair, I am very concerned with protecting my skin from the sun. Still, I wish that this cream had a little more going for it. I would like a cream that has some ingredients in it that could help calm the eye area, help with morning puffiness and such. When I finish this, if I can't find another eye cream that has SPF and some extra nourishing ingredients at a reasonable price, I may come back to this because I know it works well under makeup and has sun protection. However, this is not the ultimate eye cream and I think I can find something that will do a bit more for me.

This is my absolute favorite gel eyeliner. I have tried the gel liners from MAC, Bobbi Brown, Smashbox and Ingot and this is by far the best. All of the above liners (with the exception of Inglot) work great and are long wearing, but they dry out before I am even close to finishing the product. I have had my Clinique gel eyeliner for six months and it is still just as creamy and rich as when I purchased it. If you have any trouble with gel liners dragging when you apply them, give Clinique a shot. This is so creamy that it just glides perfectly along your lash line. I noticed the difference in application from the others right away when I used it for the first time. Once the liner sets, it stays put too. The black color (called true black) is super black and not shiny like many liquid liners can be. Since I liked the black so much, I also purchased the color "black honey" which is a dark copper brown color with just a hint of shimmer in it. Black Honey is a unique and pretty brown liner color that I have not seen in other makeup lines. I purchased this for my Mom after she complained that her MAC gel liner dried up and she also loves it. At $15, this eyeliner is also a better value than the other brands. When you consider that you will be able to actually use more of the product than the other brands, it is even more cost effective. Now that I have found this, I won't use any other gel eyeliner.
