I received a couple samples of this and was pleasantly surprised that the shade (B5) worked for my pale skin. This range has a variety of shades which is one of things that makes this stand out from normal BB creams. The differences don't stop there. This "BB Cream" works much more like a traditional foundation than other BB's I've tried. It boasts that it is a full coverage BB cream and I would agree with that. This is a much thicker consistency than a typical BB cream or tinted moisturizer. Still, it was easy to apply and provided medium to full coverage. If I built it up more it could have been full coverage. The finish was satin-like and did provide a faint glow. This helped camouflage my pores and made my skin look so even. I was impressed with the staying power of this as well. Even without a primer, this lasted all day on my combination skin. I have tried a couple other Jane Iredale products and have not been blown away by any. However, this product is unique and works very well for me. I love that this has antioxidants in it that can help with the appearance of pores and uneven skin tone. At $48 this is a very expensive BB cream (The Dr. Jart+ Premium BB Cream comes with almost the same amount of product and costs $39) but considering the performance of this and the high quality ingredients it contains, I think Jane Iredale can justify the higher price tag. This is definitely one worth checking out and I may even have to buy the full size once I am in the market for a new face product.

I have a few Revlon polishes because they have a great variety of eye catching colors and they are reasonably priced. Unfortunately, these polishes don't wear well and begin to flake off within a day or two. I wear these on top of a base coat and under a top coat and this still happens to me. Revlon colors that contain glitter, do have longer wear, but I think this is true of any polish brand since glitter just sticks like crazy. I have a couple friends who have lamented over the same problem I have with these polishes so at least I know it isn't just me. Although Revlon offers their polishes for a slightly lower price than Essie or OPI, I definitely think it's worth it to fork over the $2 extra for a polish that will last much, much longer.

I have the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in "Pearl" and "Opal". Both are absolutely beautiful. I have fair skin and both colors work well for me. Opal is more pink toned, but not too warm. What I love most about this product is how seamlessly it blends with the skin. This makes it easy to work with and the affect is very airbrushed and pretty. These give such a nice sheen to the skin that does not look too shiny and not the least bit shimmery or glittery. You could blend this straight with your foundation for an all over dewiness or you could apply the product on its own to wear you want some glow. I love this on top of the cheekbones, on my cupid's bow and even as an inner corner highlight on my eyes. This will last all day on your face and doesn't get blotchy like I have experienced with other liquid highlighters. A little product goes a long way and with how large the bottles are, each will last for quite a long time. This is expensive but extremely high quality, unique and long lasting. Best liquid/cream highlighter I have ever tried!

I have the OCC lip tar in the colors Trollop (a coral pink color) and Radiate (a coral red) and I love both. The formula of these is really unique. It comes out like a gloss, except it is so much more concentrated than any gloss you'll find. It is best to apply these with a lip brush because a little goes such a long way, that you'll need to be precise. Thankfully, OCC has included a mini lip brush with each of their lip tars. Like others have said, a tiny dot will cover your entire mouth. I prefer to apply that tiny dot to my hand and dip the brush in that, rather than putting the lip tar directly on the brush. I have more control that way. Even though the formula goes on somewhat glossy, it dries down to a matte finish that lasts a very long time on the lips. This doesn't last as long as a good lip stain does on me, but it lasts at least as well as a good matte lipstick. I just have to reapply after constant coffee drinking in the morning. Like most matte lipsticks, these can be drying. I like applying a lip balm or MAC's prep and prime for lips so my lips don't get too dry or patchy. At $18 a tube, these are just $3 more than a MAC lipstick and each tube should last you much longer considering how concentrated they are and how little you need to touch up. The color range of these is also fantastic. OCC has some of the brightest and deepest shades I have seen! They are so vibrant and beautiful. I can't wait to try a few more. OCC is also a completely vegan/cruelty free brand. Since all of us lipstick lovers are probably eating a fair amount of our lipstick over time, it is great to know that this does not contain nasty animal products. Love!

Loving the scent of the Oribe hair products I have tried, I was so excited to try this fragrance that is modeled after that signature scent. While I don't think this perfume exactly captures the scent of the hair care line, it is a beautiful smelling perfume that is certainly in the same scent family. I think it is safe to say that if you like the scent of Oribe's hair products, then you will also really enjoy the smell of this perfume. This scent smells very fresh without being fruity or too flowery and sophisticated without smelling old. There is a sort of spiciness to this that sticks with you. It's a complex scent that is hard to describe, which tend to be the scents I find most intriguing and memorable to people. Upon first spray you get that freshness but then it dries down to a more complex, warm fragrance that has lasting power while remaining very subtle. As this perfume is both extremely unique smelling and not as widely available as several others, this is the perfect candidate for a signature scent. The price tag is hefty at $95 for just 50 ml, but the lovely scent and staying power make it worth it. The gorgeous bottle will also add some elegance to your dressing table!

This is a great mascara, all-around and my favorite from the Benefit brand. Roller Lash truly does help curl your lashes. The wand works great at gripping your lashes and building volume. There is no flaking and the mascara looks great all day, but isn't a complete pain to remove either. I love that this mascara doesn't make my lashes hard or crunchy at all. For the volume and curling power it provides, it still keeps your lashes fairly soft. My friend who has very straight lashes that angle downwards turned me onto this mascara because she loved the curl it gave. I have since turned my sister onto this mascara as well, so I can attest that it works for various types of people!

I have been wearing this scent from Jo Malone for about a year now and I love its fresh, vibrant scent. If you are the type of gal who changes her perfume seasonally, this would be the perfect spring/summer scent, although I wear this year-round. When you first spritz this on yourself, the tartness of the nectarine is what hits you. Then, it dries down to reveal a more tart/sweet scent that is lovely. Jo Malone encourages combining different scents of theirs to create your own "signature fragrance". I have mixed this scent with a sample of their Orange Blossom scent and I love the result (although the idea of shelling out the money for two perfume bottles is prohibitive). The reason I knocked off two stars is that this perfume does not have the staying power I wish it had. For a perfume this expensive, I want it to last all day! Although I appreciate that the scent is light and in no way over-powering, the lasting effects could be better. Otherwise, this is a unique, invigorating scent that you won't smell on every other girl in town.

I have been using this cleanser for quite some time now. It is great for when you want a quick cleanse/exfoliation. Working wonderfully as a makeup remover, you apply this cream to your dry face. You can even use this to remove eye makeup. Once it's all over your face (and eyes) you wet your muslin cloth (each cleanser comes with a large muslin cloth. Extra cloths can be purchased in packs) and use that to both remove the cleanser and gently exfoliate your face. Instructions say there is no need to rinse, but I always rinse and find it necessary. This doesn't sting my eyes or face in any way, leaves my skin feeling clean, but not overly dry and that muslin cloth is so effective at sloughing off dead skin that seems to stick around even after traditional cleansing. This product is not tested on animals and contains no animal ingredients which is a great plus.

This moisturizer is OK. OK and that's pretty much it. I have combination/dry skin and this moisturizer didn't do anything to help my dryness. I can't see it working at all for anyone with very dry skin. It also didn't sit very well on my skin. It just seemed to sit on top of it without absorbing well. The SPF 15 is lackluster. I always look for moisturizers with an SPF of 30 or higher. Like other reviewers have mentioned, this moisturizer's claims at brightening and evening your skin tone are totally bogus. The only thing this moisturizer does is provide wimpy protection against the sun on your face.

This product takes some finesse, but it really does make a difference in the volume and texture of my fine hair. My hair stylist warned me that a little bit of this product goes a long way and too much can make your hair feel stiff or sticky. I took a little too much precaution at first and only applied a little toward the ends of my hair which didn't make much difference. At a later visit my stylist told me it works best when you apply this toward the ROOT of your hair before blow drying. This made the difference I was looking for! Working a little of this cream into the roots of your towel dried hair adds lift and some hold. This is great if you have fine, slippery hair when it's freshly clean and want to eliminate any static and add some grip. Like all Bumble & Bumble products this smells amazing and works wonderfully layered with other B&B products. The tube has lasted me so long and I am not even close to running out. My only complaint with the packaging is that the cap is a twist off and it can get a little messy when dispensing the product from that twist cap. Even so, it is super easy to get just the amount of product you want. If you have fine, or typically limp hair, I'd recommend giving this cream product a try.
