I recently purchased my first two Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks and I have really been loving both. I bought the colors Berry Haute and Black Cherry and they are such pretty colors. Berry Haute is a great everyday work color because it adds significant color to my lips but isn't too dark or dramatic. Black Cherry is very vampy and dramatic, but so sophisticated. These glide on easily because they are super creamy. I like that they are creamy, but not glossy, so I don't have to worry about them getting all over my face throughout the day and/or bleeding out into the fine lines around my lips. Over the course of the day, these do fade, but I really appreciate that they fade fairly evenly. Since the colors I have are darker, they just get less dark as the day goes on if I don't reapply. The color selection in this range is crazy good. There are over 80 colors to choose from! The packaging is sleek and simple and each lipstick will only set you back $7 (less than half of what a MAC lipstick runs). These don't have the best staying power, but they are certainly a viable, affordable option. Plus with all the colors they offer, you are sure to find at least a few that would suite you.

This is my favorite drug store brand of polish to date. The colors are varied and fresh and I really like the application of each color I have bought. The brush make the polish easy to apply and none of the colors have been at all streaky. These are made even more affordable since there are often coupons available for L'Oreal products that can be applied to their polishes. I am surprised to see that according to other reviewers, these chip quite easily because I haven't had that issue with the L'Oreal polishes at all. The Revlon nail enamel has much better ratings on this site, yet those chip like crazy on me and anyone else I have talked to who has used them. Using a strengthening base coat and high quality top coat (like I always do for my at-home manicures) these colors have lasted an average of five days without any chipping. When new collections of colors are released from this line, there is usually one that appeals to me. Much better quality than Revlon in my opinion.

I got a sample size tube of this as a gift with purchase. Thank goodness I didn't spend my money on this. The gloss itself looks pretty. It is clear with an iridescent quality to it. The smell was a bit strange to me. It reminded me of a smell that would be used in self tanners to mask that DHA smell. It applied nicely enough but after a few seconds it felt super uncomfortable. It wasn't the normal lip plumping heat or tingle. It felt like something was wrong! I only lasted a couple minutes before I had to wipe the gloss off. Even after I got it off, my lips still itched and felt horrible. When I touched my lips, they felt really rough. I don't know if it is because the gloss ate away at the skin on my lips or if it was something that the gloss left behind. What a terrible experience! I can't speak to the effectiveness of the lip plumping claim since I couldn't stand to leave it on, let alone use it twice a day consistently (who has the diligence for that anyway?!). But if a product is too painful to endure for even a few minutes, it is a major dud and waste of one's money.

I have to wear aluminum-free deodorant because I am allergic to metal and was actually getting a nasty rash under my arms from using traditional deodorant. Sadly, so many natural, aluminum-free deodorants just don't work. This one is probably the worst I have tried. The giant salt crystal is very difficult to use. The hard block drags against the sensitive under arm area and it is difficult to tell if it has dispensed anything under your arms. I would have to go over it several times to make sure, which hurt. Just a couple hours in and I could smell my own body odor! I realize that aluminum-free deodorants cannot combat sweating, but they should work at neutralizing odor. This did nothing to stop me from smelling. I had heard that you had to give it time, so I continued to use it, but alas, I continued to smell so bad. I just can't understand how people can give such a useless product glowing reviews. I don't have overly stinky pits but using this just made me want to take multiple showers each day. Do not waste your money on this.

Since I have very fine, soft hair, I am not as concerned with having the best conditioner as I am with getting a really great shampoo. Still, I really liked using the mini size of this Jasmine Conditioner. I am mainly looking for something that will nourish the ends of my hair and help detangle and smooth my mane. This did both extremely well. Jasmine is one of my favorite scents so I was delighted by the smell of this conditioner. It is fragrant and lovely, but so light smelling that it wasn't overpowering at all. I used this on a trip to Vegas with my boyfriend and he commented that my hair smelled really nice during that trip (despite nasty Vegas smoke!). And he is very picky about smells and such. This conditioner is more thick and rich that what I would normally go for since I don't have much hair, but since I concentrated the product toward the ends of my hair (I applied it from about my ears down), it didn't weigh my hair down at all. There are better conditioners out there for my specific hair, so I don't plan to purchase the full size of this conditioner, but it is very pleasant to use and would be great for someone with thicker or more coarse hair.

I first received a sample of this as part of Sephora's birthday gift this year. I liked the product so much that I bought the full size. I have several highlighters, but this one stood out because it was easy to apply and the champagne color is very flattering. My mom, who has much darker skin than me also really likes using this highlighter. I like that this is a solid cream. It is very easy to build up and blend out, so you can customize the intensity of "glow" you want. What I like so much more about the deluxe sample than the actual full size product is the packaging. The sort of sponge that is on the end of the product is useless to me and I much prefer blending the product with my fingers or a synthetic brush. This highlighter is $30 so I feel a little jipped when precious space is wasted on something I don't use. There is also the sanitary issue with the sponge. I don't like the idea of that sponge carrying around bacteria which I then spread on my face. I would much prefer that the sponge be left out and that packaging me used on more product. More ideal packaging for this would be a longer, more narrow stick of the cream so placement is easier, and of course, omit that darn sponge. Still, this is a great, universally flattering highlighter.

I had been wanting to try the infamous Laguna bronzer from NARS and their blush in Deep Throat, so when Sephora released this duo with these colors, I had to snatch it up! Both are everything I had hoped for. Laguna is a very flattering bronzer and contour color, even on my fair skin. Deep Throat is more peach than than I expected, but very pretty. It adds a nice pop of color to the cheeks, but is still fairly subtle. Both apply and blend really easily, making the colors look seamless on my face. The compact has a great mirror which makes this perfect for my makeup bag, not to mention that having a versatile blush and bronzer in one compact is wonderful. This duo runs $41 which ain't cheap, but considering that as single NARS blush is almost $30 and the Laguna bronzer is even more, it was nice to be able to try both for a bit cheaper. The amount of product you get is generous as well so I am a happy camper. I like each color enough to purchase them solo when the time comes. For now I will carry my duo in my purse for easy on the go application.

This is one of the more affordable dry shampoos on the market that actually does something. Ulta is consistently sold out of this, which tells you something. Like a previous reviewer said, this is not a miracle spray so you can't afford to let your roots get super greasy. It does, however, help quell the oil a bit and add a touch of body. Not much, but some. I love that this does not leave a white or gray cast on my brown hair. I have very fine hair and I try to skip one day between washes but I NEED some sort of dry shampoo on that second day or else my hair gets flat and oily. What is frustrating for me about this dry shampoo is that even right after I spray it on my roots, my hair still looks oily. It doesn't feel as oily as it did before I use this, but it does not look matte. I also don't like the smell of this. It isn't an offensive smell, but it reminds me of a public restroom. Thankfully, the scent does not linger too long. This dry shampoo is truly a bargain and has its good points, but I do not plan to repurchase it. I just need more oil absorption and volume from my dry shampoo since my hair is so oil prone.

I heard so many great things about this eye cream before I bought it. People raved about its effectiveness at reducing puffiness and dark circles - two things that 100% Pure also claims. This eye cream is very reasonably priced at $19 for the bottle and it comes with one full ounce. This is quite a generous size compared to many other eye creams. It has a fairly sweet, artificial coffee smell but I thoroughly enjoy the scent of it. Despite it being fragranced, I haven't experienced any sensitivity around the delicate eye area. Like just about every other eye cream I have tried that promises to de-puff and hide dark circles, this does not visibly deliver. The consistency is nice and sinks in quickly enough. I wish this had an SPF in it to protect the delicate eye area from sun damage and premature aging but sadly, most eye creams on the market lack SPF protection. The packaging of this eye cream is very cheaply made. The pump does not always work and the product often leaks out. It's a nuisance, but I would be a lot more upset about it if this was a more expensive product. The design of it is meant to stand up on its head, but when you store it that way, the product takes to long to travel through the badly made pump! So I have to store it on its side...again another nuisance. I like that this is inexpensive and nice enough to use, but without any major benefit or protection and the major issues with packaging, I would not repurchase this and probably will move onto something better before I even finish the bottle I already own.

I use an eye shadow primer every day that I wear makeup. Since I discovered the wonders of eyelid priming, I have been devoted to my MAC paint pots. I require (yes require!) a creamy, beige primer to not only cancel out the veins and redness on my eyelids but to also help my eye shadows adhere and last all day. I received a mini version of the Stila Prime Pot in a Sample Society box and have loved using it. It is a very creamy consistency that easily blends over my whole eyelid quickly. It sets dry and lasts all day. I have noticed that with my MAC paint pots, if I don't wear a shadow over them, by the end of the day I do get some creasing. However, I can wear Stila's prime pot on its own and I don't have any creasing, even after a long day. I would still turn to MAC for various colors and what not, since it seems that Stila only offers two, very neutral colors compared to MAC's plethora of shades. But for eye shadow priming and neutralizing color on the lid, this product is PERFECT for me.
