I received a couple of these wipes as samples and was excited to have this purse-friendly option for when I am out and about. I have very fair skin that burns easily. I have also already had skin cancer (I'm not even 30 yet) so I am ultra concerned with protecting myself from the sun. I used these on a day at the beach and was so disappointed to see that the wipes did not have enough sunscreen in them. The sunscreen only appeared to be in the middle of each wipe. The packaging claims that each wipe is enough for your entire body, but this didn't even come close. I burned so badly from being out on the beach for about an hour. I love Supergoop products and know that their high quality SPFs really do protect, but these wipes just need more product on them if they are going to cover one's entire body. Even using two, I wasn't covered and I am fairly slender. I will stick to lotions and spray SPFs for the time being. The convenience of a sunscreen wipe is just not worth a harmful sunburn.

I had heard good things about the Dior nail varnishes and after searching so long for a redish pink coral color and consistently coming up short, I found #659 "Lucky". This polish costs slightly less than Chanel and in my opinion, it is so much better! The Chanel polish I have (the much raved about color, "June") is a nightmare to apply because it is so sheer and streaky. Dior's "Lucky" applied like a dream. I got a perfectly opaque color after two thin coats and with a good base and top coat, my manicure lasted nearly a week. The color itself is gorgeous and just what I wanted. In some lights it looks red, in others, an orange red, in others a pinky coral. It's a fun play on the classic red or the super bright coral. It just looks really classy and fun on the nails. The brushes on the Dior polishes are different and really user friendly. They are short, stout and slightly curved to fit the base of your nail. The brush made application even easier than normal. The nail polish formula is gorgeous. No streaks and no uneven application. The bottle is quite chic and I like that (again, unlike the Chanel polishes) the square top is removable so you have more control when handling the nail brush. Dior polishes are still quite pricey and I won't make a habit of buying up a ton, but if there is a particular color that I am after and not able to find in the other lines I like, I will look to Dior.

Since I love just about all the Bumble and bumble styling products, I decided to give the Holding Spray a try. I have the Spray de Mode which is a great light/flexible hold hairspray, but I wanted something that would provide a bit more hold without being too heavy or firm. This is definitely medium hold. If you put too much your hair could get hard, but it is easy to control. I like spritzing this on my hair before I curl it to give extra staying power. For this purpose especially, I wish that the Holding Spray was an easier to use, aerosol spray, like Spray de Mode is. Still, it is nice and the nozzle doesn't spray too much or get clogged. This is also nice for taming fly-aways when doing up-dos. I love that this provides hold without making my hair too sticky or crazy when I brush it out or fluff it up. I typically style my hair in messy waves, but since my hair is fine and straight, I need some sort of hairspray to keep the curl and texture alive. This definitely helps at that and I don't need much product to get the job done. The smell is light and pleasant, just like many of Bumble and bumble's products. So many hairsprays weigh my fine hair down, so I appreciate that Bumble and bumbles products don't do this to me.

I have heard so many great things about the L'Occitane shea hand creams. I have been using the original hand cream and although I like it, I would not repurchase this particular one due to its scent. This hand cream has a lot going for it though. I love the all of L'occitane's packaging and their hand creams are especially nice. The metal tube allows you to squeeze every last bit out and the crew top is secure so you don't have to worry about any spillage. It looks simple and quite chic, so great for pulling out of your purse. I also love that it isn't too bulky to carry around or have at your desk while you are working. I cream is very hydrating so a little goes a long way. It is also not greasy at all. This is crucial because I apply this at my desk and I don't want to have to wait to start typing and such. So really the only bad thing for me about this is the scent. To me, it smells matronly and too strong. Ideally this would have a lighter scent and smell more fresh. I like the cream itself enough to look into the other flavors that L'Occitane offers.

I bought this to use during the winter when my combination skin gets more dry and red. I was expecting this to be a rinse off cleanser but instead it is a lotion that you tissue off. Still, it has its purpose and is nice on those nights when I can't be bothered to do a full cleanse with water. This is extremely gentle and very moisturizing. Even after I wipe this off, it feels like there is still lotion on my skin. The instructions say to follow this with a toner and although I don't regularly use toner, I do think it is necessary after using this. My face still feels dirty after I use this. I found that the toner was still lifting a lot of makeup after I used the Avene cleanser. This is the main reason I am only giving this four stars. I don't think that a cleanser, no matter how gentle, should leave makeup on your face when you are done. A toner should not be necessary. I was planning on still using this (with a toner) until I finished the bottle, but it makes my face feel so gross that I had to toss it, despite three quarters of the bottle being left. I like that this feels really nourishing and is quite gentle but it's not great at actually cleansing the skin. You should especially skip this cleanser if you have problem skin at all.

I have to use aluminum-free deodorant and although I have found one that works fairly well, the protection cannot match those with the chemicals and aluminum. So I supplement by deodorant by washing my underarms with Dial's Antibacterial Deodorant Soap Bars. The scent is super classic and fresh but not overpowering at all. I find that this works better than my regular body wash when used under my arms. I especially notice the difference when I use this between showers. I have washed my underarms with regular soap, or even other liquid soaps that claim to deodorize but this soap from Dial makes a noticeable difference. In between showers, this seems to be the only soap that completely eliminates odor and lasts (when used in conjunction with my deodorant of course). This provides a really rich lather that forms quickly with just a little water. It rinses away easily, leaving my skin super clean. A bar lasts forever, especially since I don't use this all over my body. I would not use this for the rest of my body just because I have dry, sensitive skin and bar soap is too drying for me.

I use this cream on my hands and cuticles at home almost everyday. Since I paint my nails one to two times a week and use acetone to remove my polish, my hands and cuticles get very dry. This lotion really helps offset the damage I do. The cream is concentrated so a little product goes a long way. I love that this does not feel greasy or at all heavy on my hands and fingers. I usually go straight into what I'm doing without having to worry about slippery hands which is awesome. The sweet almond scent started out quite nice, but as I have continued to use it, I have become really tired of it. The scent is too sweet for me and at times I find it really overpowering. I really enjoy the moisturization that this cream provides to my hands and cuticles, but I will probably seek out something else when I'm finished with this because the smell has becoming sickening to me. However, if you like, or don't mind really sweet scents, you will probably really like the smell of this. The cream itself does a great job at its intended purpose.

I had my eye on these liquid lipsticks from Hourglass for a while before I finally bought one. My main hang up was deciding on the perfect color. I ended up buying the color "ballet" which is just what I wanted. It is a vibrant, beautiful fuchsia, pink color that looks amazing and goes with several different looks. This applies like a lip gloss, but it sets to a matte finish and lasts all day. I was expecting this to be more the the YSL glossy stains, but whereas those maintain somewhat of a glossy finish, these act just like a long lasting matte lipstick. The packaging is super sleek (as is the case with all Hourglass products) and compact. The color you get when applied, is spot on to the color you see in the chic little tube. The color lasts all day long, even standing up to constant coffee and water drinking throughout the day. One swift application gets you the opaque color you want so it is a great option for when you are in a rush. I want to try out so many of the other amazing looking colors! Hourglass is a high end brand, so this comes with a high end price tag of $28 per tube. However, the colors in the range are amazing, the application is easy and the effects are so beautiful. My only complaint is that this does feel quite dry on the lips. It doesn't feel weightless like the YSL glossy stains, but it is no worse than other matte lipsticks.

This product was used on me at a Blow Dry Bar and I really liked it, but couldn't tell if it was a standout, since my hair was professionally done anyway. I then got a sample of this in Sephora and liked it so much I bought a small bottle. First off, this smells divine. It is fresh and yummy and the scent really lasts on your hair. I can even smell it when I wash it out of my hair in the shower. This works really well with the other styling products I use when blow drying my hair (Bumble and Bumble Prep and Bumble and Bumble Thickening Spray). It doesn't weigh my hair down at all which is a must since I have very fine hair. Because I have such fine, oil prone hair, my style only really lasts one day. With the help of dry shampoo, I can skip one day in between washes. Now with the Prime Style Extender, I can go one extra day before I have to wash my hair. This is huge! The product claims to combat oil and humidity which I think it effectively does. I live on the coast and the marine layer in the morning can mess up my hair style, but this product has really helped. And the fact that I can go an extra day between washes, shows that it effectively fights oil. This is a wonderful product all around and makes me excited to try more products from Living Proof.

I love dry shampoos but haven't really liked any of the powders I've tried because they are messy and not as effective as the sprays. This is the best powder dry shampoo I have ever tried! You put a bit in your hands and rub your hands together which makes the product (seemingly) disappear. You can still feel it in your hands though, even though you can't see it. You then rub the product into your roots and work it into your hair. I noticed a difference in the volume and texture of my hair right away! This wasn't messy at all, it didn't leave any white residue in my brown hair and it worked so well at absorbing oil and adding body to my thin, flat hair. I got a few free bottles of this from BzzAgent and gave the others to two of my friends who also love it. I was surprised by how small the bottle was when I first got it, but a little goes a long way so I think the bottle will still last quite a while. Also, since it is so small, it is perfect for throwing into your purse for on-the-go touch ups. Because this doesn't contain any liquid, it would also be great for throwing in your carry on when traveling. This is odorless so you don't have to worry about it clashing with other hair products or your perfume. At $5.99 for the bottle, this is super affordable. This is the same price as the Psssssst dry shampoo and less money than Bastiste, yet in my opinion, it works much better than both. I will definitely be purchasing this when my current bottle runs out.
