The application and look of this mascara is excellent. The brush is nice and big, but still easy to work with. The mascara formula adds tons of length and a hefty amount of volume without over-clumping which I love. My issue with this mascara is that by middle to the end of the day it starts to come off in flakes. This mascara is also rather difficult to get off completely. Even when I thoroughly remove my eye makeup and wash my face, I am left with some residual flakes from this mascara. I absolutely love the initial look achieved with this product, but the cons are annoying enough that I would not purchase again.

I got this as part of an amazing Sephora dry shampoo sampler. Sadly this is a complete loser. The smell is quite strong and isn't my favorite scent. It goes on super white and leaves that white cast in my light brown hair so I look like I have gray streaks. To top it off, the dry shampoo doesn't do much to absorb my excess oil or give me much volume. There are much better dry shampoos out there, Do yourself a favor and save your money on this.

I really love this brow product. It stays in place all day and the range of colors offered covers just about everyone on the brow spectrum. I first bought Medium Brown which is a decent brown shade, but when they released the Ash Brown color, I knew this would be better for my coloring. If you are a brunette, or even a blonde who has a hard time with brow products because they tend to pull on the red side (especially in pictures!) then the Ash Brown color is for you. A little bit of this product goes a long way and it is best to use it with a synthetic brush. I get a little product out and put it on the top of my hand and dip my brush into that, instead of going straight into the jar and getting too much product. I say this is for the more experienced brow filler because the application takes some finesse. You only want to use a little product, you don't have much time before it sets and it is easy to go overboard. However, if you like a neat, defined looking brow that will last all day then this is your product.

I am so in love with this authentic dry shampoo. I say authentic, because this one claims and actually does seem to cleanse your hair a bit when you use it. It sprays on evenly, leaves no white cast, doesn't make your hair feel gritty and, like all Living Proof products, smells amazing. Some dry shampoos do a good job at immediately absorbing excess oils, but still leave my hair feeling flat after a couple hours. The effects of this dry shampoo last most of the day. Out of the many, many dry shampoos I have tried on my fine, oily, brunette hair, this one is the best at removing that oily feeling and breathing life back into my hair.

I do NOT understand all of the negative reviews on this product! I have tried several liquid liner pens and the tips of the pens are rarely fine enough or the liquid product doesn't reach the tip (Stila liquid liner pen!). This liner pen applies so easily and dries relatively matte. As with all liquid liners, you have to work fairly quickly to get your line perfect before it sets but this one still allows enough time to do so. I have re-purchased this product three times I like it so much. The only reason I cannot give it 9-10 stars is that it does dry out quicker than I would like. If it lasted a month longer I would probably give it the full 10 stars. Each of my Kat Von D liners have lasted about 6 weeks.

I received a deluxe sample of this and liked it so much that I bought the full size. This cleanser is great because it contains both glycolic and salicylic acid to really clean and gently exfoliate your face, preventing breakouts and blackheads. My skin looks noticeably brighter after using this, but it doesn't feel too tight or dry either. I incorporated this in my skincare routine to help combat blackheads. I don't get major breakouts, but I have large pores and blackheads that I want to be rid of. This cleanser has helped. The scent is light and refreshing. I like using this with the Clarisonic too. The amount of foam this wash creates is just the right about to use with the Clarisonic. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a gentle exfoliating cleanser to help minimize the appearance of pores.

I got a sample tube of this in a beauty box. I have only tried a few Jane Iredale products but the public perception of the brand seems to be really good. First off, I like the tube that this mascara comes in. It is squeezable so if you are getting near the end of the mascara, you can use every last bit. Unfortunately, I do not plan to ever get to the end of this mascara. Application was OK, but the formula didn't do much as far as lengthening and especially thickening for my lashes. It took several coats to get my lashes looking good. I would never describe this as thickening at all. It did nothing to make my lashes look more full. My big issue with this is mascara is that throughout the day it flaked like crazy. I put this on in the morning and was out and about the entire day. Each time I looked in the mirror I saw more flakes on my face from this darn mascara. It also made my lashes feel very brittle. Definitely not more thick! I do not plan on even using up the remainder of this sample because it was such a mess. Flaky mascara is a major deal breaker for me and for a mascara that doesn't even give excellent length and volume, it just isn't worth the trouble of using,

I hadn't used a mousse regularly since high school when I had curly hair. But in the years since, my hair has gotten more fine and has lost all of its curl. My stylist used this on me when I last got my hair cut and I really liked the effect that it gave to my straight, shoulder length hair. After that experience, I watched some videos on the Bumble and bumble website where the stylists used this mousse on a fine-haired gal like myself. I was convinced I had to have this after that! I have been using a generous amount on my wet hair and it has given me a bit of grip for when I blow dry. When my hair is dry it has more body and more hold than it would otherwise. It is straight, but it doesn't look boring and flat like it normally would. My hair is not hard or sticky at all, it just feels thicker and holds the style better. I love it! I am always on the look out for products that will do these things for my hair and I am usually left feeling a bit underwhelmed. This mousse may have been the missing ticket! I'll finish up whatever style I do with the Bumble and bumble Thickening Creme Contour and the two together are a match made in Bumble and bumble heaven. Kudos to B&b for making another outstanding styling product. I only knocked off one star because a bottle that contains just under five ounces, costs $29, which is steep. For me though, the results are worth it!

I got the Sonicare battery operated toothbrush for my birthday and while this isn't the most glamorous gift, it has probably been one of the most effective. I was wary of using an electric toothbrush because I thought it would be awkward and might even hurt my gums. Wrong! While making the switch from a manual to an electric toothbrush does take some getting used to, this is extremely easy to use and leaves your teeth feeling so much cleaner it is astounding. My teeth, especially on the bottom are very close together so I tend to get plaque on the backside of a few of them. I would always spend extra time brushing the backside of those teeth with my manual toothbrush, but some would remain. After just one use with the Sonicare, that plaque had broken up quite a bit. After about 4 brushes, it was nearly gone. This is amazing! Overall, my teeth feel so smooth and so, so clean. I have always had fairly white teeth, but I feel like now that I use the Sonicare every day, I am ensuring that my teeth stay just as white, despite frequent coffee drinking. The brush turns off automatically after two minutes and the batteries last quite a while. I doubt I was brushing my teeth for two minutes straight with my old toothbrush, so if nothing else that is a major improvement. I haven't had to change my brush head yet, but a two pack is about $25. We;; worth it! These toothbrushes have really come down in price, making the switch a really affordable one. Considering that you will probably pay much less in dental work if you use your Sonicare consistently, it is such a smart investment. I cannot recommend a Sonicare toothbrush (either battery operated or rechargeable) enough!

I received a small bottle of this with a Zoya polish order and was really impressed when I tried it out. I had seen good reviews for it but gawked at the $10 price tag, considering I can get a much larger generic bottle for $5 or less. But the Zoya nail polish remover really is different. The smell is a lot less harsh than other removers (something my boyfriend really appreciates!). This also seemed to take off pesky polishes more swiftly than others. I usually just use pure acetone to remove my polishes because it works the best, but it leaves my cuticles and hands super dry and tight. Zoya's remover has acetone in it, which is probably part of what makes it remove polish so easily, but it is not nearly as harsh or drying to my nails and hands as the pure acetone. Still, $10 for an 8 ounce bottle of nail polish remover is steep! While I think this price is somewhat justified, it would nice to at least get a bit more product. However, I do plan to buy a full size bottle. The full size packaging is nice, with the pump dispenser too. I will just save this for when I am doing nails in the man's presence or when my nails need a break from the harsh acetone.
